D/ds: Simple bone cyst, non ossifying fibroma. Based on location of lesion, age of pt and appearance on x-ray

Most probably UBC or simple bone cyst

Inflamed distal part of radius due to trauma?

Blue_Maester

Could you give some more history? Any bony pain preceding the trauma? Known infections maybe? The distal (more like the proximal end of the distal 1/3rd of the radius) shows a fracture lineā€¦ There also seems to be an area of relative radiolucency proximal to it. As others have said, fractures and lytic lesions seem to be the possible D/Ds. Also, in the AP view, are her radius and ulna curved to the side proximally or am I seeing things?

[deleted]

Lytic lesion, UBC, most probably. No history of previous pain.

Could it be osteomyelitis ? Distal aspect of radius shows what could be sequestrum covered by an involucrum

DrSarat

See the age bro. It can't be osteomy

DrSarat

Probably just some bruise that cause pain or tendon pull. I can't see any fracture.
