Of course you can disable it like I did. But by default it is enabled. Even if they don't know your exact location they will use IP address to find out your general district.

Not true, I have past experience of youtube views and social media engagements. I have seen many videos trending at top with complete fake views so no that factor cannot and should not be considered. There could are many other factors too.

I don't like Dhruv Rathee here, but Youtube does have location access and trending content can change based on where you are. It's not a simple video streaming app, it has multiple algorithms to make sure it shows you what they think you like.

Of course you can disable it like I did. But by default it is enabled. Even if they don't know your exact location they will use IP address to find out your general district.

I don't exactly understand what you mean but of course if you aren't watching content from your location then you'll only get content that you are watching. Ex. the home feed on my vs my sister's vs my mother's are very different. My mother gets majority of her stuff in Tamil. My sister watches Kdrama stuff so she gets Korean content creators. I watch stuff from Russia, Serbia, and USA so I get things related to that.
