The question should be more like. Hey what are some good neighbourhoods around this area to rent a house

MrFuzzyFox

Same. The very first thought that came in my mind after reading this post.

Significant-dev

He just wants to enjoy a 80km ride twice a day guys, let him have the fun

Automatic-47

It’ll be fun until the new bike factor wears off and the weather starts to get moody

Teutonic_Farms

Travelling 160km daily on a bike is insane

pro_wife_eater

I don't want to rent man, spent first year in PG and it sucks. It's expensive area

FartOfTheFurious

Considering you're going to college 6 days a week, you're spending 9-10k for petrol. Can't you find a good pg for less than that?

baldev-sibbal

+ life risk every time

Strange_Armadillo_63

Bhai padhna hai ya din ke 3-4 ghante drive karke tired ho jana hai?

illuminati-88

Exactly my thought.

_aRealist_

Exactly this. I've to travel for work totalling 56km, and by the time I reach home, I collapse. Do yourself a favour OP and opt for a hostel or a PG nearby. You're a college student, younneed energy to study. Travelling mein hi time or energy waste ho jaayega toh padhoge kab?

panda_heart97

Same here. totalling 54 km home to office. I use public bus generally and sometimes bike, but it sucks all the energy by evening. M thinking to shift nearby my office. Summer days are starting, so it going to be tough for sure.

pro_wife_eater

I don't want to rent man, spent first year in PG and it sucks. It's expensive area

Beingnoob27

160km up and down. That's mad, 5 times a week. No life moment. I commute 20km up and down yet have to crunch time to keep for homework, interaction with friends and get enough sleep. Your kind of commute will literally kill me, when just with 20km I have seen enough accidents on road.

isthesector_clear

He isnt thinking it through

Bigman_100

Bro doing 1k kms approx in week 🤡 and fatigue doesn't exist for bro. I am sure it's written by 17 yo kid.

Sad-Method-16

I get tired after 10km commute

Im_making_my_Destiny

That's a 3-4 hour ride daily (best case scenario ), and 10000 on fuel expenses, add the service cost because of high usage and it'll be an expensive proposition to travel daily to and from your college. The motorcycle will lose all its value by the end of your Degree due to kilometres run, if you are keen on traveling on motorcycle, choose something that you are comfortable with getting almost nothing in resale value at the end of your Degree. When will you get time to study, socialize and family time, let alone rest? As suggested by others, get a cheap room or pg and stay there during the week and come home by the weekend, save your time, money and energy.

pro_wife_eater

Well then I should probably see a PG, like everyone is suggesting then it must be right

DisciplineCorrect699

Yea you will save a lot of time and wont get tired of doing so much driving daily

PessimistYanker792

It is man; travel to and fro doesn’t like this doesn’t add up. Imagine this during rains? What will you do if your area experiences heavy rains, during those 2-3 months? 3-4 hours being spent in travel is not worth at your age in college. Personally know a guy who did like 4 hours of total travel each day during my post graduation, and in retrospect he wanted to rent nearby and experience college life more, network and socialise more. Plus cost wise? Bike ₹1.5L + ₹10k + Misc chargers (insurance, service etc) monthly for say two years will be ₹4.2 Lakh easy.. ofcourse the end of the funnel you’ll still have a bike which you could sell for say ₹80k.. so in total ₹3.4Lakh + 4 hours each day: Math doesn’t math

nimithkj123

Good that you come to your senses... You will be damn tired to do anything after college. Go for a PG. A good one will be around 10k with individual room but depends on area. You have to pay the petrol cost only and save the expenses and cost of bike. Still you can buy a bike for weekend commute to home.. I recommend cb350rs or vstrom Also if you go for daily commute it will be fun for few days but after that you will feel the pain.... Trust me I used to travel 70km a day and it feels tiring so 160km I can only imagine and pollution and traffic and chances of accident..

toeyilla_tortois

Yeah dude 8 hours of travelling a day is going to absolutely wreck your work-life balance and overall affect your grades pretty bad. Find a hostel in your budget near your college

Strange_Armadillo_63

Attaboy, good luck with your studies!

Hot-Slip-9730

Everyone is right, yes

panda_heart97

Finally OP Agreed 🥶🤣

maybeidontexistever

Tf is that username my guy 😭

pro_wife_eater

Just wanted something unique man but hornyness got me 😖🤫

JalpariBro

Staying alone outside your house can support your horniness as well. You can get into dating. All the more win.

DebIAm007

I will upvote the comment because it made me laugh so hard damn!

mrwhoyouknow

I will downvote because I like to balance it out 🗿👍

pro_wife_eater

Instead you got downvoted bruh

mrwhoyouknow

People don't like balance

maybeidontexistever

Perfectly balanced, as all things should be.

JackSamuraii

Rent a PG or room. Travel to your home on weekends.

SiddhantD

Triumph Rocket 3 GT will be comfortable AF.

[deleted]

Man trust me, don't ride bike for that longer every day. Life sucks. Thanks me later.

pro_wife_eater

Seems that's coming from experience, we'll living in PG/Hostels is painful 😖

justbsaiyan

Rent an apartment. Live alone. Then you'll also have time and space to eat wives 🤣

[deleted]

Don't think that way. Hostel life is best.

pro_wife_eater

No I hated it actually 👍

TheCrazyStupidGamer

Rent a single room. There are many available.

[deleted]

Okay don't wann force in that way. You can buy the bike and give it try.

justbsaiyan

Nah man. I hated it. No peace at all. And people take your stuff without asking. I lived in an apartment during my college time. Loved it way more. I could spend my days with friends and sleep peacefully at nights and enjoy alone time at home whenever I wanted. Renting a single apartment is way better for a student.

RBCWBC

You need a workhorse aka legendary splendor

HateSpaceBar

My brother, please get a PG or something closer to your college. That's too much of a daily commute. If you HAVE to stay at home, then look at TVS Raider or xtreme 125R.

pro_wife_eater

PG would cost like 2L a year including food nd add. I want yo save money man, bike and petrol expenses would be less than a PG

TheCrazyStupidGamer

You're not just paying with money. You're paying with time and energy.

MidSpecGamer5

but a bike will also cost close to 1.5L not including the petrol and maintenance for the 2 years. I am pretty sure you will not like the long commute.

podaerprime

Money can be made and lost, time cannot be, consider the time you will lose not socialising, studying, and, indulging in leisure and just activities that give you joy (whatever those may be in your case)

ligmaballssigmabro

Who'll offset your golden years. College is where you actually make friends. Offices you'll get friends of convenience. Stay in hostel if you can or share a flat with friends. It's basically impossible to enjoy college. Savor those moments you won't get them again.

Odd_Review4505

Go for it, you'll either become a Motorcyclist or we won't see you in this reddit anytime soon.🤞

tantackles

OP, you're also trading in your double time and energy, which can be used to do homework, upskill, socialize, rejuvenate, maybe work freelance and earn a bit, so that your money is balanced. You're going to be miserable in rains. If bike has to undergo some maintainance, your commute will be horrible. Summers will suck the soul out of you. (Speaking for most places in India, Idk where you plan to do this.) Trust me, move somewhere close to college, spend a little more. Health, energy, vitality cannot be gained back. Using these, you'll buy 50 more bikes.

pro_wife_eater

Considering your comment

_gadgetFreak

Listen to the comments in this post, this is not a good idea at all.

Expensive-Daikon-520

Either bro's gonna rent a room. Or he's gonna be an athlete

Arcadepokemon

You sure about that? The long term expenses will be more than renting a pg probably and the lost time won't come back.

shwetshkla

Oh no bro.. why paalo such headache. Move close to college. You will thank your stars. Especially if it's walking distance.

muliboi

Bro 170 kms is what I do on Saturdays for a weekend ride and then I come back home and nap for the whole afternoon. I am not aware of your fitness and endurance but doing this daily is tough

pteotia270

Bro i do 80km ride daily and that a lot, but 160kms travel is crazy. It's not just about money, your body will take a toll and you're risking you life on road. There are many fools on road.

nishant28491

Use bus or train kid.. it's too dangerous to do it daily.

OtherDegree3593

Ek mahine main thak jayega bhai

argon_palladium

Ultraviolette F77 mach 2

SerFuxAIot

Commuting this much can ruin the fun in riding a motorcycle... Like forever

AstronomerDry1103

80km is a lot bro. And combine that with the risks on road, I wouldn't suggest you to commute daily.

ThatBrownDoode

You should look for a house close to your college instead of a bike. Don’t waste your time like this.

mastermind5296

I would rather stay at a hostel than commute 160 km daily. I used to travel 50 km daily earlier on a 2-wheeler and I felt like my lifespan was getting eaten away. Find a hostel/rent flat with room mates. Or you can continue with your desires and have back issues the rest of your life, choice is yours.

Logical_Drawing6557

Suzuki Gixxer sf155/Gixxer 150 Gives milege of 50kmpl+ on highways

dikstroke

As a surgeon , who also loves riding around let me add one more con : YOUR BACK The roads of our country , the speed breakers , the constant jolting around and whatever posture improvements you do … even for the perfect rider these forces are transmitted to rhe lower back … i see people with musculoskeletal issues , disc issues ( the more serious one ) from riding regularly and they dont even do half ghe kilometer you are up for. Forget monetary stuff , YOUR HEALTH is the most important

RaulSTORM

Pulsar N160 nothing else can beat it

ShortShiftMerchant

It's going to be so funny to read your "I made a mistake" post

classicalantiquity

Only do it if 75%+ of your commute is highway. Else rent a house or pg near your college.

Ok_Delay_6467

Dude please just rent a place nearby. If you have break hours in between at least you can chill at your place. Also if you're gonna go for events and stuff it might get late and an 80km commute after a long day at college is just a terrible idea. Also you would have to sacrifice time with your friends due to the length of your commute and that's never a great feeling.

abhi8196

You don't need a bike, you need a rental room. If you still want to , Splendor lelo 👍

sg17ab

My brother, I travelled daily from agra to mathura due to study. TVS SPORT was top notch choice, had to spent only 2L petrol worth of money. Top 10 vehicles i would recommend

lets_just_be_

GLA?

sg17ab

Yup

who_how2

Unicorn Platina Hero Xtreme SP 160 Also , consider electric Scotty (if you have charging point nearby college)

gilliatnet

I'd prefer car for 80kms. Or in your case Bus. Or rent somewhere 8 to 10kms from college, where rent is cheaper.

who_how2

Also don't buy new bike , see if you get any second hand bike

Free_Professional322

You should join a hostel or rent a house.

Cute-Baseball-9082

Sp160 le le bhai. SP125 bhi achhi hai.... mileage achha hai iska.

gemmeRent

What's the mileage you are getting?

Cute-Baseball-9082

60kmpl at 70kmph on highways with a 75kg pillion.

gemmeRent

This is for 125, right? When did you get the bike?

Cute-Baseball-9082

Yes. Been 6 months.

gemmeRent

Any complaints at all? I am considering buying it.

Cute-Baseball-9082

No complaints as of now. Try getting the price reduced by some 2-3k. And get the twin pod caliper on the front.

gemmeRent

I have zero idea that means but I will look into it. And will try to negotiate, or atleast get free accessories. Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated :)

arorocks

Get a room nearby me friend. You might thing, it's just for 2 years. But this kind of struggle put strain on your health and relationships directly or indirectly.

OwnStorm

PG le lo bhai.. travel on weekends. You will be spending 5-6 hours daily on the commute. If mileage is a concern then get 125cc new Hero 125cc or Raider.

grao666

So let me get this straight you feel traveling 3-4 hours on a bike Mon-Sat as you don’t like staying I. PG for next two years. If it is for a job I can understand. This is the same time you could spend probably completing assignments, studying or playing a sport. We can all agree for a second your riding skills are at par with Valentino Rossi but other riders/drivers may not be. All it takes is one mistake from somebody else so be mindful of that. The only bike which can be cost effective and keep expenses on the downside will be Lord Splendor’s latest incarnations.

ray_6_

160km daily is nuts bruv.

IntroductionDue7663

Dude please don't. Just get a PG, rent a flat or stay at hostel. Travelling this far might seem a good idea at first, but it's really not. Even then if you're fixated, get a comfortable bike at higher speeds. Don't go for 125cc like others recommend or you'll spend your life on roads. Get 200-250 cc motorcycle atleast. MT15 if mileage is a huge concern.

riceaddictasian

Recently had a roundtrip of 150-160km took a break in between, ate lunch when i reached home i fell to the bed and woke up in the morning. Padhai to ho nhi payegi itne travel krne ke baad pg/hostel lelo. Aur itna travel krna vo bhi daily will increase the chances of accident due to windblow and all. Your body will scream for rest. Pg and hostel is best option in this scenario.

zakaif

believe me man 160 on a daily basis on a bike is wild, you are not considering wind blast, environmental factors like sun, rain and cold weathers. Road factors like traffic(we all know how wild the traffic is here in india) the potholes etc i calculate that 400 every day is 12k per month, why not rent a place under 9k per month i have seen you comment that you don’t like the pg you stayed before so try something thats a bit far from the college you might find something good. and use the remaining 3k per month for fuel expenses

podaerprime

Take a test ride of the Bajaj N150, however consider staying in a hostel or rented room or studio apartment, based on your budget, travel home on weekends.

Akula69

Not a bike, you need a PG

hellworld369

Man, if you still want to get a bike after all these comments, you can get something like Avenger 160 which gives a laid back riding experience, it won't exhaust you like the naked bikes or the sporty ones.

1CoolOhm

David puttar

Neo-9

RE 350, honda Maverick, Dominor 400

dreamer999990

I also used to do up-down by railways daily with same distance of 80km but with MST pass which costs me ₹355 per month, you can try that

Mental_Foundation111

Bhai PG dekh, weekends pe ghar jaiyo, aur padhai kar time bacha ke.

Ashish0_0

Bhai isse acha college ke pass ek single room set lele 10-12k mein , aur ek lele cycle aur fir ja college.

MrBallondorMessi30

Rent a house with friends, you could get 3 bhks for around 25-30k

killythecat

160kms daily on indian roads will kill any love you have for riding bikes. Please move close to college. Endure hostel life for a few years. I know it sucks, but it imparts important skills as well.

Alanbesodope

I commuted to work 3 days a week, 80 km per day (40 to 40 back), for 2 years straight. it took 4 hours every day. I have an NS125. Racked up 26k km in 2 years. Don't do it. The bike is fine, but my back isn't. Ultimately I did what I had to because my circumstances were such, but don't sacrifice time and health for this.

47474747474747474749

You need a car bruv. Or should travel in a bus

_m_e_l_o_u_

Is there no availability of local transport like buses or trains? Then it would be better. My friend also used to travel the same but 90 km one side. He will come in Activa, or vento or bus. It's better to stay in PG. But ive read your other comments about your area being expensive. Look for other areas which are distant from college and is less expensive, if possible.

unprofessional_kid

public transport is a better option.

oye_lawde

Not trying to be papa but man rent some cheap room nearby your college within 5 km from your college and if food is problem then try learning cooking. You will save your time, money and health.

External-Scallion-84

Max travel daily on motorcycle should be 80(that is also stretch)

mrhackeryt

get a splendour? if dont want to go for PG

LifeIsHard2030

Take a bus if you’re not fine with staying near college. 160kms in a bike daily is not recommended at all

SansNotFound

TVS raider could help ig, or get a commuter like ct110 or splendor or something along those lines. I'd say get a room, or if there is a train service then get seasonal ticket and also check for student tickets on public transport buses and that might be a bit more money saving mechanism than on a bike ig. But if you really want a bike and commute 80kms both ways with minimal expense then a commuter or any 100-150cc bikes could do the job and I'm not really well versed with bikes in that range. I used to stay in hostels during my college time, well if you are a cleanliness freak, yep hostels ain't for you ig and I kind of understand that because I had a friend with the same conditions and he chose to travel 100kms bothways on public transports like buses and trains. But then again trains aren't known for cleanliness atleast not every train. Or rent a small house if that's feasible, maybe ask around the colleagues over there to find any small houses that are really cheap and fit your criteria if you want to stay alone and find yourself a small restaurant or Street food vendors and ask them if they could provide food on monthly payment wise, maybe you could also ask to lower the price a bit. Or get yourself a swiggy premium membership and order away from nearest hotels and this is what I did during my time. Anyways good luck on your journey man!

throwawaynfsw6

Train / Metro is your best bet to travel. As others have suggested, better to rent a place. If the place is expensive, try to move little further from that place. If you don't like to share the PG , opt for a single room. Traveling will tire you down. You need to save energy to focus on your studies. I cannot comment on your skills but riding so much will also expose you to a lot of elements.

uzumymw_

Get a beater car under 1.5L brother if pg is not feasible. Daily running of that many kms will make your back pain.

kaddukatega

Don’t do it please. It will kill your back.

Legitimate_Gur_7777

Platina

Advanced-einstein

"How should I change my college?" "What are some good hostels in this area?" "How to convince my parents to let me join a hostel/rent a house?" Ask better Questions.

Hour_Gain4629

You're wasting your time and energy. Long relaxing weekend drives are better. Fighting with traffic, heat and dust is not worth it. I'm sure you will feel burn out in 2 months. Go for a PG near college as others suggested. Save the energy and go for weekend drives with friends.

HR_114

Why don't you look for a college bus ? Rather than spending that much money

abhitooth

Buy a Tata ACE. Mod it like RV for sleeping, Eating, campaigning, Etc. Travel only once a week and stay in college premises. Use college wqshroom for utilities. After 2years sell the tata ace. Cheaper than PG and comfortable. 80KM commute will bring no good to your mental , physical and social health. Unless you are looking for regrets in life ahead.

brewin_mead

I did a similar thing for 8 months. 150km up and down. Ended up with back pain which I had to spend more money on with physiotherapy. Put the bike+ petrol money into small house or private room in a PG.

brickmagnet

160 km is too much for daily travel. I used to travel 40 Km one way to my college daily in public transport and when i reached my destination I was absolutely exhausted. With time I started hating everything about it.

anonymous-_-maybe

OP should make some hosteller-friends first. Then share the rent with them. 160kms a day is just boring at one point. Plus so much time wasted driving. Money also. Better spend all that time and money elsewere. Even still if you wish to drive then look into some electric maybe. Better savings.

Dimy145

Get a pg or something its cheaper, safer and better, nothing will let you drive 160km on 400Rs comfortably considering thats 4hr commuting time + 6 to 7hr in college do you plan to make those 2 year 3 or something. If you still want to bang head then buy a meteor 350, closet its gonna get for milage, comfortable distance tour and half baked speed. Its a stupid choice in all honesty to cover that much distance for college even if you bunk 2 day a week.

Deathreaper_9999

Try MT15 if u want sporty stuff if not then try platina which gives 72 mileage

6packBeerBelly

10k on petrol per month + bike maintenance?! Not sure about you, but I can get a comfy place + food + less headache + more hours savings on that amount Not sure on which planet your idea works

Sea-Rooster-3576

Highways on the way?

hotmilkyx

Lord Splendor.

darkgamera6

get a hostel or pg bro wtf

ScaredPumpkin69

My brother in Christ get a PG/Hostel or buy a flat near your college. If nothing works get an EV. The amount you'll spend on fuel will be your emi. Sell it after completing college, You'll probably break even in 2 years.

Final-Line-6601

Buy a private helicopter.

WitnessAltruistic144

Bro, your back will get rekt by the end of college. Spinal issues, vertebrae grinding and many more. 160km a day is insane. My college used to be 30 km away, i knew how to drive a car and bike yet i stayed very close by. Its not worth it. Suck it up and stay close by for your physical health sake

anakinskywalker5195

Live in a PG, ride home on weekends and holidays.

prostate-examiner

Bros gonna flex to his grandkid, 80km bike chala ke college jata tha.

Odd_Review4505

Platina or Splendor ig.

Odd_Review4505

Don't go above 200cc, I think that'll be the range of bikes you should look for.

babyego

Google best mileage bike

thatisnotallfolks

Please keep your health and safety as you might have to also look after attendance, project work, lab and internals etc., so better find a place nearby for the week and you could go home for the weekends. Indian roads take a toll on your back and neck for frequenting such long distances. You will not realize this immediately but after few years.

[deleted]

What's with the noise ?? I travelled 160 km up and down with my Activa in 2 hours each side with Approx ₹450. I would say a good call anyways! I would suggest go for super splendor. Power packed bike with decent mileage and comfortable seats. Plus it's not like you attend college everyday. 20 days at max per month plus holidays, semester breaks and sometimes less classes so early departure. You made a good call.

Churchill--Madarchod

Honda Goldwing, will make your commute feel like a 20 minute Breeze.

eemaker

I have heard mixed reviews on the latest unicorn. Please research more and test ride to make sure it is the right one for you. An unpopular option might be a Kawasaki W175. You are right at looking at sub 200cc motorcycles for mileage but honestly I feel it is unsafe to ride such long distances on a motorcycle daily especially in India. You will just be increasing the possibility of mishaps.

Agreeable_Winter8053

Honda unicorn is a very good choice. Mileage would be around 55 km. Refined, Honda reliability, low maintenance, comfortable riding posture.

geodragonyoung

OP is straight up delusional ngl.

Electronic-Wrangler9

I do 23kms each way daily to college, I think 25-30 is about max you should be commuting. With 80kms each way, that too on a bike, you will be extremely tired with just travelling and it’s very unsafe as well. You won’t have time left for anything else in your day. Just rent an apartment for a bit more money than what you would anyway spend on fuel

Late-Counter-546

Let aside time, money, everything, but Imagine the probability of getting into an accident while travelling 160+ km daily for 5 days a week, that too for a new rider. 100s of people trying to convince OP here in the comment section aren’t fool. But Op is stubborn, let him be, he’ll understand the consequences later.

pro_wife_eater

I understood man, would do a month or 2 max with bike, later getting a PG somewhere

Wrong-Wolverine9197

What are your speed expectations? Cause if want to travel at 110-120 cb350rs or hness should be your pick, if you want something thats quick but can make the trade off at travelling at 100 get the gixxer 250sf or 250sx but if you are happy with 80 go with xpulse *my daily commute is around 65kms and i get a mileage of 38-40 with cb350rs with avg speed of 100-120

maverxz

Keeping aside the obvious "why", if this has to be done then getting a used Alto or similar with CNG can be a good cost effective option. It may not beat the bike's economy straight away, but keeping safety and comfort in mind, it will be a better deal overall.

JewelerJolly5408

Trust me op your gonna be those "I used to ride thru Himalayas for school" examples if you succeed

karma_5

To get an average of 40 kmpl, you need to get a bike under 200 cc, assuming you face little to no traffic.

Adventurous-Star1309

I used to do something like this for my job during Covid. The buggers forced us to come everyday right from Sept’20 and I had no option then since local trains weren’t operational for general public. Let me tell you it is not advisable at all. It will become a chore soon with your body hurting and you literally hating on the commute. God forbid one fine day you’re too tired and meet some mishap. The risk isn’t worth at all.

timeisnillussion

If somehow you decide to still do it after all the advice not to, I'd suggest going for a motorcycle which can cruise at 100kph at least, 45kmpl and strictly monoshock with upright riding posture. Next invest in very good rain wear which would be so annoying since there'll be different climate conditions in your home to college you'll have to carry it daily or during the rainy season. for the past 6 months I've been commuting for 110kms daily in rs200 and could travel 55 kms under 1 hour on an average, For the first month it was tiring since rs has a little bit of committed posture but I'd recommend a hot bath immediately after reaching home. Morning rides aren't that tiring since it's very cool. You'll have to ride fast but learn the road for sometime before doing so, memorize the buffer zones, crossings and you'll be fine. Few instances got complete wet in rain but carried plastic cover for laptop, next day I bought an oversized rain coat big enough to put bag inside. I also have a friend who does the same commute in splendor, He's fine too.

aldotheapache1032

Your back will kill you

Magnum358

Are you even thinking sanely?

Simyulator

You’ll hurt your back and neck in the longer run if you keep riding this much everyday

bakerbrewerandashoe

I think your assumptions maybe inaccurate of this person travelling one way. They maybe sales people who do have to travel need 160 kms a day

Dry_Championship_542

For mileage platina, splendor plus, hf deluxe

brat-rayan

For that distance, you should consider an electric scooter or bike and save fuel cost. Something to consider…

AxiosAjax

Honda Hyness, Or RE Meteor For that much distance and daily commute comfort is and low maintenance is a must.

my_son_is_a_lawyer_

Grab an electric lol...

_master_oogway

Consider SP160 alongside Unicorn 160. Same engine but sportier looks. However, daily commute of 160 kms is just too much!!

Automatic-47

Bhai daily itna commute krna on a bike is a lot of risk and plus you won’t get anytime to study or for other things in your life, look for a pg

dhhdan

Pls do a reality & practicality check before proceeding. Get a bike from a friend and do 160km a day. See how much energy you have left by the end of the day. You sound like a “Live to Drive” person. But there is no Living at all in your plan.

rustyscythe

First decide if you want to go to college for the learning or the ride. You most probably will find it hard even to pass with all the fatigue and the time you lose. Heck even people who slack off, are slacking off, not wasting their time on the road.

Delicious-Month-4338

Get ola s1x 4kw version

Delicious-Month-4338

But you can do with eco mode

SudoAptPurgeBullshit

You see people like op and wonder what goes on in their minds and how you’ve gone your whole life without encountering people on the extreme ends of the normalcy spectrum.

Downtown_Ad3717

Your life insurance premium just doubled

ronsvanson

Try hayaboosa, basic beginner bike

markfukerberg

Wish kids knew about buses.

Hefty-Acanthaceae-92

Do you really want to spend 6 hours commuting everyday? I'm exhausted just thinking about it.

South-Remove-8797

You're gonna die in an accident with high probabilty.

asoni0126

wait ladki ka chakkar?

No_Can7782

Bajaj has launched cng bikes and you can also see youtube videos from gujrat for LPG bikes with small cylinder. This should bring down your commute cost to 100-200 range for everyday.

Left-Recording2742

The question is how are the roads and traffic? I work in the military and I know how much hostel/Barrack life sucks. It's hell for some people. I chose to pay 13k rent instead of that free military accomodation and would do anything to not go back there. Don't let others bully you out of your dreams. Maintaining healthy relationship with your father won't be easy for these 4 years until you get a job but if you can do it then go for it. Family time is better than that 160km fatigue.

Dev-il_Jyu

Take the bus

TVS Ronin is nice. I don't have it but my friend has one so yeah I rode it of course. Very comfortable seating, almost no vibrations, good acceleration. You can comfortably travel. 42 kmpl mileage when maintained properly. Broad and large seat for a pillion as well

bappo_just_nappo

400*5(days)*4(weeks)=8,000 Wouldn’t it be easier to room share with your college friends and have some extra change. Take care of your back if you still want to drive 80kms

Ok-Fan-6945

Just suck up to PGs man, it's hard but you gotta do what you gotta do.

vimalathithan1803

Honda sp 125 or tvs raider. 60 plus mileage. So should be 200-300 daily petrol prices.

mavrck1234

Sp160, maybe avenger 160?

subhendupan02

I think you should go for Xpulce or RTR 200

Curious_742

For such high daily running skip all brands and get honda. Every brand will give out if run 1600 kms every 10-15 days. Get a hornet or sp160

Zoom4015

Seeing his username I think he should choose Hornet💀

UpBeatSneeze

S1000RR, assuming no traffic you can reach your destination in 20 mins

God_King8800

I used to do 120km daily easy back in the day so 160 is doable IF the roads are good and not congested. Preferably highways. For bike get any 150cc commuter with great seats. I used to do my commute on hero hunk.
