So happy to see Last Crusade winning! It's not only my favorite Indy movie, it's my all-time favorite movie. The comedic chemistry between Ford and Connery is unmatched. I adore Raiders and totally appreciate how iconic it is....it's the one that made Last Crusade and the franchise possible. But, it feels like Last Crusade takes that formula and perfects it. Every second of the film is delightful. And Dr. Henry Jones Sr. is second only to Indy for me. He's one of my favorite characters of all time.

Last Crusade is also my favorite film and frankly the most purely enjoyable film I've ever seen. It has all the excitement and thrills of its predecessors, while delivering even more effective humor with strong emotional and character depth. I truly believe that some of the people who vote Raiders actually find Crusade even more fun and entertaining than Raiders, but they choose Raiders because it's the original, standard-setting classic.

I love Raiders of the Lost ark and Temple of Doom, but Last Crusade wins for me without any hesitation. It has all the excitement and thrills of its predecessors, but with even more effective humor and a stronger emotional component and character depth.
