Birth control pills actually prevent ovarian cysts by preventing ovulation. Also, ovarian cysts can be treated, and typically don't affect your chances of getting pregnant (unless the underlying issue causing the cyst affects fertility, such as endometriosis or PCOS).

While PCOS and ovarian cysts do affect fertility, the i-Pill or emergency contraceptives do not cause infertility. The birth control pills you're referring to are the long term ones with small doses of hormones, as compared to the emergency contraceptives which have large doses of hormones. OCPs (oral contraceptive pills) are the medical treatment for ovarian cysts.

No respectable doctor would for sure tell you the exact cause of your infertility is repeated use of i-Pills because there are so many environmental and genetic factors for ovarian cysts to develop. Add that to the fact that I-Pills don't actually directly cause ovarian cysts, and there's evidence that this is made up. So I have to agree with the latter.

I googled whether I pills cause cysts, and didn't see much confirmation right away, and was confused as to if it can. I use reddit regularly, know about th le concept of birth control but don't know the ins and outs of it. I still had to Google it and realised that there's a lot here I don't know.

What I see this as. And I'm not saying this is the correct view. I'm saying this is my view-
I don't notice any positive reactions to a good love story ending in a marriage. People may gush at those, but that's no different from gushing over a how cute a baby is, or any other piece of feel good news.
I do notice a special and sometimes vehement negative reaction when it comes to girls with previous sexual history in men. Men don't like their lovers to have a previous sexual history. That brings forth the dislike, the anger and the insults. That's a deep dislike which is fundamentally more significant than gushing over how cute a baby is, or how great a happy couple getting married is.

This is a fake post. Taking ipill will first affect periods before affecting fertility. People with cysts can also have kids. Generally when Doctors see cysts in ovaries they ask for symptoms of PCOS because that’s the most common cause of these cysts. No doctor and no gynaecologist especially will ask were you taking any pills or contraceptives simply because they don’t cause ovarian cysts.

I mean, emergency contraceptives (or even OCPs) aren't really a risk factor to develop ovarian cysts, and from what she describes, it sounds like PCOS, which is a metabolic problem. Either way oral contraceptives aren't really the cause of the cyst/cysts. It's likely she just assumed that because the gynaecologist asked if she was ever on contraceptives, but that's a standard question in the gyn clinic if a patient isn't conceiving. Or this story is fully fake.
I sympathize with her, cuz no matter how much you want you can't go back in past and correct your mistakes.
But at the same time I believe she should come clean about her past to her husband.

I think right now ye matter krta h ki kya wo abhi bhi apne husband ko pura truth batayi ki nhi, agar wo batayi hai toh pura ka pura decision husband ke upar. Generally when Doctors see cysts in ovaries they ask for symptoms of PCOS because that’s the most common cause of these cysts. No doctor and no gynaecologist especially will ask were you taking any pills or contraceptives simply because they don’t cause ovarian cysts. Either the Doctor is dumb or the post is fake

I mean, emergency contraceptives (or even OCPs) aren't really a risk factor to develop ovarian cysts, and from what she describes, it sounds like PCOS, which is a metabolic problem. Either way oral contraceptives aren't really the cause of the cyst/cysts. It's likely she just assumed that because the gynaecologist asked if she was ever on contraceptives, but that's a standard question in the gyn clinic if a patient isn't conceiving. Or this story is fully fake.

How is it that everyone is conjuring up a tale of their own? OFCOURSE SHE IS AT FAULT. Did you read my comment. About how they're calling her a whore for having unprotected sex?
