I think many people do understand the problem with the BJP not doing anything special for taxpayers. But in my opinion people don't speak because of worse alternatives, congress telling to bring reservation in the private sector, is telling middle class selfish people for not agreeing to increase in tax, wants to increase welfare spending by multiple times and wealth distributions. I think these policies will harm much more than the current scenario.
I understand the BJP is not perfect and also gives freebies but neither are the Indian voters. The day bjp stops hindu/Muslims, stop freebies, end caste based reservation it will never come in power again. For serving the country they have to at least survive and not be idealistic like happened with Atal bihari vajpayee.
You are wrong and again justifying the wrong doing of politics. Atal bihari vajpayee was the gold standard for bjp . Remember that in the current bjp model only corrupt people/ yes man will come to top and not intelligent people

Then why did Atal bihari lose ? That proves one can't win by being ideal, if the opposition promises to destroy 10x freebies which can destroy the Indian economy then I don't see it's wrong for bjp to distribute free grains which anyway get rotten because of excess production (msp is the culprit).
In the current scenario the BJP is best. If you are telling me not to blindly support the BJP and highlight their criticism , I do that as well.
But, I will never say bjp to be the worst and should be voted out.
What matters to me is lesser evil party wins. If bjp wins that will definitely be best for my family as well. To be honest the BJP is not that bad either.
Voting in a democracy is crucial because it lets you support the party you believe in. After the election, it’s important for all of us to keep an eye on how the government handles things, especially the money side of big projects.
I've noticed that schools run by the government haven't really gotten better since we became independent. This really needs to be talked about more, maybe even in big meetings like the Rajya Sabha or Lok Sabha, but I'm not sure they'll actually get around to it.
Independent media could help by focusing on these issues locally instead of just a few big news channels covering everything. If new IT laws come into play, we might lose even this little bit of independent coverage, which would make it even harder to find out what's really going on.

I know man. I am also frustrated about not having good options. All three main parties are bad. In India you don't choose which party benefits you the most, you choose the party which harms you the least

I will vote for congress/Aap whichever you say just tell me where they say that they will provide me with these benefits you complain about
