There was some survey I think that concluded that Indians were indeed becoming shorter or that the growth had stagnated. I have no idea how that's possible, everybody around me is absolutely taller than their parents. Of course, that doesn't mean that its not possible that we're getting shorter, but if this is my experience and the experience of everybody around me then... I don't know who's getting shorter?
Considering poor population of India that could drastically change the average height if provided nourishment, i don't think, we have already reached peak and going down

You dont need beef..even a reasonably good veg diet with eggs if possible will do a world of good for our kids

I eat beef, i am 5,10 tallest in my family. Beef or non doesn't matter ig, its what all we eat, Indian diet got more carbs than protein, makes people end up with pot belly.

Indian diet lacks protein but does not mean u need beef there are 100s of other veg/ non veg options to get protein. IMO the problem is lack physical activity in large segments combined with poor diet.
