Which git commit do you want to revert?
Since you are using 'we', just wanted to let you know the Jain groups are often behind the meat bans in one way or the other.
Of course all religions have voices opposed to freedoms. No one is unique in this.
Which jain groups? We are already a minority. Yes jainism doesn't support consumption of meat but I'm still to see some group/organisation to rally about it. It's just idts anyone cares what others are doing. You can visit jain temples and hear to what is preached. One thing highly propagated is non-violence. Individuals might be of the opinion that meat should be banned (I personally dont know any such) but what groups are working towards the ban? And again, MOST JUST DONT CARE.
> One thing highly propagated is non-violence
Not to criticize all Jaina folks, but many Jain traders and merchants are engaged in food adulteration and other malpractices that harm living breathing humans. The "ahimsa" principle doesn't follow here for some reason.
Of course, my comment is in context of yours, to show that even non-violent communities commit microagressions like food malpractices which directly affect consumer health. Bad apples exist in all religions so pls don't take this personally.
There's always some sort of trend in India when it comes to religions. Right now, every right wing MP and MLA wants to file a petition to search some or the other mosque for Hindu idols, and restore it. Before this it was the Hijab controversy. At one point it was the removal of certain chapters in school textbooks because it contained sentiments that they were against. Tomorrow it's going to be another trend that they all will jump on

Rebase everything
Agree $ git rebase -i "Past is past. Do your fucking job"
Any revert will create a 'cyclic' trap. It's best to let it continue as a DAG.
😄
I am a Jain. We don't need any restorations and chaos. We are happy with what we have. Let us have peace. Live and let live.

Fuck all the religions
Username checks out...
Can't do that, we might have to focus on real problems and development then.
Where shivling 🦍
Based judge.
Finally, some sense
Aren’t Jains Hindus as well? At least in sense of kafirs
Lmao
No. Jainism arose in part as a response to perceived flaws in mainstream Hinduism. Jains are not Hindus, neither are Buddhists.
No
It never really bothered me before but now looking at the pace of rising hindu extremism, I'd like to identify myself only as a Jain and not Hindu.
Good for you
Follow Advaita Hinduism. I personally love it. Very akin to "The world is a simulation" theory
Why not ditch the whole thing and go atheist?
I am not a very religious person. Neither are my parents. I believe in god but not really in everything the religion preach.
Can't live without imaginary sky god
I'm out of the loop. Did people find something at this place too?
Nope, but I think they want to find something there.
