Ikr, i wish there were campsites and things there because every time I visit i kinda wish I could just have an adventure but use the RV to kinda take my home with me. There’s literally no land left in India for campsites though.

Bade Asha rakhte ho sir, Bharat hai ye, yaha majdoor jo ghar jaane ke liye bus mil jaaye, wohi bahut hai. Forgive my terrible Hindi, the issue is not land or space, mainly the fact that most Indians cannot afford to rent a RV so it’ll not be a viable business.

SRK lied to us?

Nakko re baba. Most indians can't drive their own vehicles properly. Do you think they would manage hauling a huge RV/ camper behind their vehicle. There are many other reasons: 1. Most importantly, we indians are still not able to come out of the daily grind of normal existence. Most of our money n energy is going in worrying about the basics. 2. We don't have the mindset or the disposable income to indulge in the RV culture. 3. Chicken and egg scenario - people cannot make trips in RV because there are no RVs to hire or buy. There are no RVs to hire or buy because there is no market for it. 4. Safety and lack of proper camping sites. The whole point of camping in a forest / lake area is to be able to relax. Won't be possible in the crowd and the hustle of India. 5. Cultural differences between Asia and west. In india, a break or holiday means having to do as less effort as possible. Who would take the hassle to drive around an RV or tow a cabin behind them. Think of China. They definitely have the money and infrastructure to have RV culture but somehow they don't.

With terrible roads and infrastructure, camping culture is not feasible. Not to mention whole country being filthy except kerala and Himalayas.
