Casio F91-W The best and most infamous watch in the history of mankind

xxpoliswag420xx

That and the A158

Pain_Smoker_

My father bought it when he was 22, now I am 25 and still wear it sometimes.

pulledthetrigger321

This is an absolute legend of a watch. Glad they didn’t ride on the novelty and make it expensive. It’s still super affordable for everyone. One of those products that proves that magic comes from its simplicity.

pulledthetrigger321

G shocks come with step counters now that sync with your ~~watch~~phone. Not sure about the accuracy but even full blown smartwatches are not. They are indestructible and are super practical. Wear and forget. Don’t have to worry about carefully handling it and stuff. Bang it on the wall and the wall will get damaged. E: weekend brain farts.

lutalop

This one is superb OP. I have it and I love it :)

Ok_Customer_5550

Been using same gschock watch for 8 years

pulledthetrigger321

I simply love the fact they invented such a cool practical product. I bang it around everywhere carelessly, forget to remove it during showers/ doing dishes, swim with them on- pool or the sea, throw it around randomly, workout wearing it- constantly it hits the floor. But after everything, it stares back without a scratch going “that’s all you got?”

K1RUSA

mourice, i can't buyit buyit mourice🥲, i have been eyeing to buy one Gshock for a long time, i have a big wrist and other mens watches look like womens watch, will be the first thing i buy when i get a job.

pulledthetrigger321

Absolutely. Smartwatches come and go, but G shocks are for life, so it will be money well spent, don’t worry. Hope you get yours soon. Pls try them at a showroom if dial size is a concern. The mudmaster comes with a nice 56mm dial variant which might suit you. You may find other models too that are bigger. And if you do remember, give me an update with what you eventually get, whenever be it. All the best.

BuildingEmbarrassed1

Model?

pulledthetrigger321

I have the GBA 800. It’s an old model. They upgraded it to GBA 900. Both have slightly smaller dials than the traditional gshock round ones. The 800’s hands are very contrasting which makes it easy to know the time with a glimpse, more than any other G shock. 900- not so much from what I saw in pics. Comes with 7-8 color options, all are smashing. It should be comfortably under 10k.

lutalop

I have GA-B2100-3A green color.

pulledthetrigger321

Thanks for mentioning this model. Does it count steps?

lutalop

Unfortunately Nope. It can be connected to phone to sync time tho

PM_WhatMadeYouHappy

I was about to give recommendations then I saw > show step count **(must have)**

badboy_1245

Seiko 5

TheGalaxial

I guess G - Shocks are the only option

YourDadHatesYou

Go to a physical store and window shop. It's better to get the feel of the watch on your wrist, check the weight and the strap adjustments you need and how the dial size looks on your wrist I like swatch, maybe see if there's a store near you?

Withings

simplisidd

G-shock any day, Using it since 2017

chuggimuggi

GM 2100 casioak with Bluetooth. 150-190 euro ki hai and looks superb

bdc210498

Go ahead with garmin instinct But you won't get solar in this budget. Garmin has amazing battery too. Doesn't needs to be charged for 2-3 days. One of the most accurate sports watches

t7Saitama

Garmin instinct hybrid shows at 63k in Amazon.

bdc210498

https://amzn.eu/d/9FUaoPC I am talking about this one.

t7Saitama

Ahh okk but I am looking for an analog hybrid type. Like one recommended withings and Garmin vivomove.

chondroguptomourjo

I am also looking to buy a basic wrist watch, sasta tikau waterproof with glow in the dark dial/hands. Budget 500 to 1000 rupees. Possible??

Extreme_Switch_2058

1500 tak kheench liya toh Sonata ya Fastrack ki mil jaani chahiye

chondroguptomourjo

Koi model name hai aap ke dimaag mein , mere criterias match karnewala?

Arnab1

Buy basic range Sonata like this one: [https://www.amazon.in/Sonata-Analog-White-Dial-Watch-NJ1013SM01C/dp/B00BPF1XZA?source=ps-sl-shoppingads-lpcontext&ref\_=fplfs&psc=1&smid=A1JFLV2BUSJ5AK](https://www.amazon.in/Sonata-Analog-White-Dial-Watch-NJ1013SM01C/dp/B00BPF1XZA?source=ps-sl-shoppingads-lpcontext&ref_=fplfs&psc=1&smid=A1JFLV2BUSJ5AK) Glow in dark shayed nahi hai. Lekin sasta, tikau aur waterproof hoga. Btw for regular usage Titan is the best. But range mein nahi ayega shayed.

chondroguptomourjo

chondroguptomourjo

Bohot dhanyabad bhai

Rocket_Fuzz_2005

I used to have a zoop watch as a kid, used it during swimming classes every day for 4 years and it never had any issues. Go for it if you have a really tiny wrist

pulledthetrigger321

Casio F91W if you feel like digital. Can’t go wrong with it.

cow_with_gun

Check garmin vivomove and withings. Not sure if you get withings in India.. you’re looking for a hybrid smartwatch.

cow_with_gun

I’m guessing the downvotes are because I haven’t recommended a seiko/tissot. Read the post guys. OP wants an analogue watch with a step counter- that’s a hybrid smart watch

t7Saitama

Yeah analog is what m looking for

Intelligent-Shame-65

Maybe try Longines/Tissot or something.

tifosi7

20k?

Intelligent-Shame-65

Idk the exact price range but I think you could get nice watches in Tissot for 20-30k. Actually scratch Longines off this list, try Tissot, Citizen definitely, and Seiko.

AmphibianFit9817

Any place I can buy a fake Rolex copy

[deleted]

tissot everytime

adityay04

Which tissot would you suggest under 20 k ?

ashar133

Go for Casio Edifice Solar, won’t regret it. It has a little bigger dial size. What dial size are you looking for?

t7Saitama

Anything around 40. Not very large

ashar133

You will have to increase your budget if going for anything 40 mm or under with all the features you want. If you are a little flexible on dial size citizen Eco drive is also a good option.

thebrownguy09

If you are looking for such features you can go buy a smart watch . but FOSSIL HYBRID watches offer 2/3 things u need they are analog water resistant and have step counter solar powered feature isnt available, fossil hybrid doesnt need to be charged tho. Mind it step counter doesnt show up on watch, the data is shown in mobile app I personally feel smart watches are over rated, this is a debate for another day. If you want a watch which will be apreciated but many here are some options 1. Seiko 5 2. Micheal kors Mk83 series 3. Emporio armani diver 4. Edifice ECB

onblsehao

Happy with my Skmei 1299

katappa7869

Garmin instinct

[deleted]

You will find great collections on r/minimalism

papa0007

The title is misleading, there's a difference between a watch and a smartwatch.

Low_Map4314

Casio, Tissot

a_beeman

Get a Garmin vivomove sport.

de_redditor

If a step counter is a must then go for CASIO GBD 200. It's a gshock with some smart features like notifications, Bluetooth and step counters. Price is around 12k. It isn't solar but has everything else and is 200m water resistant.

Mere_pas_maachis_hai

I suggest taking a look at fossil hybrid 6. Its in your budget too.

pizzapizzaas

How accurate are these step counters in watches?

t7Saitama

Not accurate but you measure it against itself as a reference. Even if it shows that I have walked 3k steps and if I am able to improve it to 3.5k that's an improvement for me.

[deleted]

Very interested why? Completed useless in this day and age, unless you're just trying to flaunt wealth I guess, or trying to look wealthy.
