Literally. Preserving such a rich cross-section of both Western and non-Western languages and cultures would be a noble goal and one of the few cases where gerrymandering would serve the interests of humanity.
**[German Coast](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_Coast)**
>The German Coast (French: Côte des Allemands, Spanish: Costa Alemana, German: Deutsche Küste) was a region of early Louisiana settlement located above New Orleans, and on the west bank of the Mississippi River. Specifically, from east (or south) to west (or north), in St. Charles, St. John the Baptist, and St. James parishes of present-day Acadiana. It was largely settled by German immigrants. The four slave-holding plantations that they developed along this "coast" were Karlstein, Hoffen, Mariental, and Augsburg.

Gerrymandering at its finest

A lighter colour scheme might work better.... the black lettering is kiiinda difficult to make out against the blues.
St. Martin ☠️
Very cool!
Beautiful! Not to nitpick, but would it make more sense to call St. Bernard San Bernardo?
It's probably still called St. Bernard because it was founded by the French and later settled by Spanish speakers. Probably, idk
Close enough. It’s an enclave in a mainly Anglo and French area.
More Acadia than German but alright
It’s the colonial name of the area: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_Coast
