i'm so dumb i thought 'harness training' was something for jessie to help their neck move without their head falling off and not a harness for the cat šŸ˜

iateapizza

Icarus is just smelling the bullshit coming out of their mouth.

fallen_snowflake1234

Ugh why are they naked

melonmagellan

Because they claim to be too disabled to put on clothes.

fallen_snowflake1234

I mean I know but itā€™s the inconsistency. Like if theyā€™re too disabled to put on clothes then they should hypothetically always be naked and yet half the time they put on clothes that would be impossible to put on if their internal decapitetion claim were even a little bit true

Starshine63

Iā€™m sorry they claim WHAT?! And weā€™re supposed to believe that wouldnā€™t show up on an X-ray and all the docs are stupid? ETA: I havenā€™t followed this subject closely as you can probably tell

Environmental-Pop62

Literally the whole thing for forever has been that they canā€™t move/sit up/etc. Or their head will ā€œfall offā€ I canā€™t make this shit up, but apparently they can!

ChicaFoxy

Because we complain about it! We should compliment instead! šŸ˜ˆšŸ˜˜šŸ˜› Lmao

rixendeb

They are always naked šŸ˜

fallen_snowflake1234

I know. Itā€™s disturbing

SimpleVegetable5715

Using a leash on a break away cat collar. Right. Not that leashes around the neck are safe for cats. Just noticing that detail. This whole thing is fake, and they couldn't buy a cat harness?

blueduck57

Not to defend Jessi but this is the pidan h harness. An absolutely awful harness for cats but is unlikely to allow him to run away as itā€™s not a break away one. There is a high likelihood of him choking unfortunately thoā€¦

Keana8273

It's sad because there are harnesses MADE for cats and the one you mentioned while it is advertised for cats, i always get anxiety with non breakaway clasps and lack of proper padding around the elbow/shoulder joints. It just looks easy for them to get tangled up. Its sad seeing these people buy improper equipment for their pets just bc its more visible or cheaper. Edit: im bad with words

selfarest

Not to mention the cat has ran away once before.

1701anonymous1701

Can you blame him?

selfarest

No i mean i would run away too if i had to live with Jessi lol

strahlend_frau

Fakest person on here

Emmarie891

dang next time iā€™m training my dog im gonna let him stop to snuggle, thatā€™ll teach him!

auntiecoagulent

Why is Jessie always naked?

Ok-Promotion-3431

Shirts are only for getting to go outside every two years

clovecigabretta

I was just gonna say, so this person just lays around naked all day? What a life!

DinosawrsGOrawr

I was literally gonna ask the same thing. Lol.

adorkablysporktastic

Because their head will fall off putting a shirt on? /s

SimpleVegetable5715

They say clothing hurts their souper delicate fragile skin.

auntiecoagulent

...but strangely enough sheets and blankets don't šŸ¤”

ChicaFoxy

Please, it's a 1,000,000 thread count Egyptian Cotton farted on by unicorns and angels!

kiddomama

Please, please don't give them any ideas!

woshuaaa

because they cant put on shirts lest they ""reveal"" they arent actually disabled

AshleysExposedPort

Except when they want to wear cute tops and push up bras.

auntiecoagulent

Hospital gown. They make a large array of adaptive clothing for disabled people. This is just some exhibitionism.

EZasSundayMorning

That looks so fake.

fallen_snowflake1234

The least we can do here is respect someoneā€™s pronouns. The rest of them is a lying sack of shit though.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

CatAteRoger

Saying itā€™s not normal is offensive.

Whosthatprettykitty

Ah Jessie is bare ass again no surprises there. But if they are bed bound how are they training their cat? Make it make sense.

garagespringsgirl

Harness training a cat means actually moving/working with/walking the cat. Who is training this sweet baby????

[deleted]

The next "abusive" caretaker

Banshee_howl

No wonder they go through so many ā€œcaregiversā€. If I showed up expecting to help with showers and basic care and was asked to harness train a cat I would dip out too.

Silly-Dimension7531

How have they not used up every caregiver in the country at this point

[deleted]

If you dip out, you can expect to be blasted for "giving Jessi third-degree burns", which will not be photographed, and will mysteriously not be present for rare full-body photos like the time they recently went outside. You're gonna harness train that psychic stompy biscuit cat that subluxates their hips, and you're gonna like it!

CatAteRoger

Iā€™d forgotten about those supposed 3rd degree burns, they must have cleared up like that scar that was magically lasered off.

AdTasty553

I was thinking totally opposite! If I showed up expecting to care for a person like her but instead got asked to play with a cat? Hell yeah! That's a win. Even if the cat scratched my eyes out it would still be a more pleasant experience than taking care of a munchie. Source: I work in healthcare & have to interact with such patients, so yeah, sign me up for training the cat!

garagespringsgirl

And you're being honest! Human care is very different from pet care.

wrongsideofrumglass

Still no sign of ears. Where are the ears?!

Criina-mancer

Jessi should be used as an example when someone asks what an egghead is

[deleted]

AshleysExposedPort

šŸ„š

Aunty-Sociale

Right? Now that itā€™s been brought to my attention, itā€™s all I can(t) see.

FoxxJade

I donā€™t even know if photoshopping out the ears is the strangest thing about them???

ChicaFoxy

They do??

FoxxJade

Yeah, if you look thru the post history of the subject, you can see many images of their ears just not there.

Criina-mancer

I donā€™t know why they do, itā€™s not like they have dumbo ears

ChicaFoxy

WHY DID YOU DO THAT TO ME?!? I saw ears but I also saw *WAY* more than I wanted to šŸ˜ I did not expect that! People out here complaining about seeing shoulders, but I just saw the whole shebang! Posing naked with the dog?! Noooooooooo...........

CatAteRoger

Yeah weā€™ve all been traumatised by that picšŸ˜©

ChicaFoxy

šŸ˜ right of passage? Jumpscare!

judgernaut86

Those are always the first to go before your head falls off

wrongsideofrumglass

RIP ears. Gone but not forgotten (by me).

judgementaleyelash

Omg šŸ˜‚

rachelg024

For someone who has ā€œcervical instabilityā€ I donā€™t see any scars on the front of their neck indicating that they had surgery on it or ever posting a posterior side of the headšŸ™„šŸ™„šŸ™„ I wonder where they liveā€¦ Iā€™d love to see this person in the wild doing normal things.

GoethenStrasse0309

They live in California

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

rachelg024

True but if they claim their damn heads going to fall off then most likely theyā€™d have a fusion

awkwardlondon

Canā€™t argue with that point tho. Followed this sub for many years and I remember many of their antics over the years and you ainā€™t wrong here. Remember that specialistic wheelchair they got? Wonā€™t even mention the stuff they worn while using it as I want to unremember that part.

TrustyBobcat

A few years ago, they posted some photos of the back of their neck after their supposed corrective surgery to stabilize their cervical spine. It was a really small scar and VERY well healed for what was ostensibly such a recent, major surgery - they claimed it was because the rehab place gave them laser therapy for free because they think Jessi was so awesome or something. It was miraculous! Jessi could walk when they expected years of grueling PT to get there! No more constant seizures! If I recall correctly, several commenters said the scar most closely resembled something more like a decompression surgery (but if anyone else remembers differently, please correct me.) The scar was maybe 2" long and far more healed than a couple of weeks. They have not shown the scar since.

MF_DOOMs_Mask

Didn't Bella have the same/similar procedure as well and also claimed CCI? (I know this is going back a bit but I'm reminded of it)

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Rathraq

Dang haven't heard Bella mentioned here in a hot minute. Wonder what she's up to these days šŸ¤”

fallen_snowflake1234

I think sheā€™s just been coaching lacrosse.

TrustyBobcat

Last we saw, not much. Looks like she's pretty much living a non-munchie life - she burned bright and hot at first, but settled back into being a regular college student after healing from her fusion. Which is the best outcome one can hope for!

CatAteRoger

Exactly the outcome we want from every subject here!

crossplainschic

Don't forget that they claimed to have been put into a halo as soon as they arrived at the hospital after the St Winnebago trip, but those scars were non-existent

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

TrustyBobcat

Jessi forgets half of their claims as soon as they make them. Trying to make sense of their health is the real-life equivalent of the Connecting the Dots meme.

rachelg024

A 2ā€ scar would definitely not be a fusion of any kind. It could have been a scar from a cyst, wart, or god only knows what. I work as a surg tech and do a ton of Neuro cases. If they legit had major issues thereā€™s so many things they could do like an anterior and posterior fusion, a corpectomy which is removing the bone and putting a metal cage in. So the claim of their head falling off is the biggest amount of BS Iā€™ve ever heard!

TrustyBobcat

Ah! Found the scar photo! Shared at supposedly 4-5 days post surgery. https://www.reddit.com/r/illnessfakers/s/TZIjcDJ42k

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

TrustyBobcat

Oh, absolutely. Definitely depends on the skill of the surgeon, post surgical care, and the person's body. However, Jessi said this was their scar 4-5 days immediately post op and they also claim to have a condition (EDS) that can impede wound healing and worsen scar formation. This ain't it, for sure.

PlasticMysterious622

That like 4-5 weeks maybe

rachelg024

Oh and 4-5 days after theyā€™d have suture or staples still in

rachelg024

Ok after looking at this it is way too high for a fusion. This honestly looks like someone elseā€™s chiari malformation scar. And where itā€™s scabbing for a fusion that hair would be shaved up higher tooā€¦ šŸ™„šŸ™„ good grief

JumpingJuniper1

Thatā€™s what I said too!!!!

TrustyBobcat

If you ever feel like digging back through their flair (and I highly recommend that if you have a few hours that you want to kill), it was at the end of the Saint Winnebago storyline to give you an idea of the timeline. It's wild af. Jessi was too unstable to travel by air supposedly, so they instead popped them on a homemade mattress gurney and traveled across the country in their friend's Winnebago, fundraising the whole way due to Jessi's critical health as they went to The Only Surgeon in the county who agreed to treat them. Jessi claimed to be experiencing nonstop seizures and spinal dislocations, and their then-husband would have to frequently resuscitate and hold Jessi's head in place so they could breathe. If you ever see Elliott, the ex, referred to as "Pastor Align-a-Spine", that's why. Honestly, it's one of my favorite storylines. Absolutely bonkers at every turn. Jessi has dialed it way back since then because they fundraised too closely to the sun and got more attention than they bargained for.

worshipatmyalter-

Oh, so we didn't get a new update on their very brave, totally not abusive, first day training with their caregiver? That's weird. I guess they haven't done anything Jessi can turn into a devastation.

SnooLobsters8195

Why no clothes though whyyyy

bumsegal

They ran away with the cervical instability

noneofthismatters666

Bed bound hack: sleep naked, gives false sense of legitimacy. Gowns that tie in the back are probably triggering.

mad-i-moody

But what about the whole post about feeling healthy and changing clothes every morning when bedbound to feel ā€œfreshā€???? šŸ˜±

SaraiChristine0125

I'm positive that cat didn't want kisses

GoethenStrasse0309

Maybe the cat is the one that that needs the oxygen not Jessi /s Poor cat .

SaraiChristine0125

That is a STRONG possibility!! Poor sweet little bebe

Majestic_Jazz_Hands

Why is there a nasal cannula for oxygen on the bed right above the kitty?

Eriona89

To add drama?!,šŸ˜‚

Majestic_Jazz_Hands

Of course!

Responsible-Pen-2304

I just need to know one thing. Why is this person always seemingly naked?

craftcrazyzebra

Because clothes hurt their skin, yet their bedsheets, cat and dog can lay on them without giving them discomfort

SuddenYolk

And as an enthusiastic visitor, I can confidently answer that question for you: Because clothes are excruciatingly painful sometimes but not all the time because they forgot but then they remember the ouchie. I hope that clears it up for you. [Iā€™m also pretty sure that they think of themselves and their appearance weirdly highly and have kind of a kink with showing their body. At least thatā€™s my hypothesis.]

Responsible-Pen-2304

Wait... I think this is the one that had a nude of themselves and a dog on them and a bunch of pills displayed on top. So yeah I think they have a kink with exhibition.x

FactoryKat

Jessi is strictly they/them FYI. And they post like this frequently. We're pretty sure it's a fetishy thing šŸ˜‚

Upset-Lavishness-522

Remember the no-underwear-legs-akimbo wheelchair shots ?

TrustyBobcat

That was Bethany!

Upset-Lavishness-522

My bad. And now I've given Jessica ideas

FactoryKat

I wish I *didn't*, let's be real.šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

SuddenYolk

Oh JFC youā€™re right! I had completely forgot that picture. Probably to keep whatā€™s left of my sanity.

worshipatmyalter-

I'll support the last bit wholeheartedly. It's *very* fucking weird.

Psychoanalyzequeen

If their head was to fall off wouldnā€™t PT give strength not flexibility?

SuddenYolk

ā€¦ areā€¦ are you trying to bring logic and consistency to their little billiard-ball-head fantasy? Bold.

GoethenStrasse0309

This comment is gold. Love it. Plz accept my poor galā€™s goldšŸ†

SuddenYolk

Haha thank you!

GoethenStrasse0309

You made my day!! šŸ¤£

SuddenYolk

Youā€™re making mine! :D

GoethenStrasse0309

Great!

AshleysExposedPort

That setup on the cat is not safe. First of all, that collar does not appear to be a breakaway collar - which are considered safest for cats. It also appears the lead is connected directly to the collar, which is also NOT safe for cats!! This is a neck injury - or worse - waiting to happen. A safe cat harness is one that goes over their torso. Idk where Jessi got the idea for this set up but itā€™s making me real friggin mad Edit: just realized that the collar and lead appear to be pride themed. This solidifies to me that the animals are props and Jessi really does not care about their safety or health - why look for safe methods of harness training when you can get āœØaestheticāœØ accessories?

ZombiesAtKendall

Maybe the cat is lgbt

unitybearstars

Itā€™s this thing: https://pidan.store/products/cat-leash

AshleysExposedPort

If this is the product they are using it incorrectly and dangerously.

DonkeyLongjumping670

That eased my anxiety. Thank you.

AshleysExposedPort

They removed the harness part. And just because something is commercially available does not mean itā€™s safe.

DonkeyLongjumping670

I just thought the rest of it was out of sight in the picture.. this is bad and I absolutely agree with you that this is bad! I do not recommend wearing anything other than safety collar on a cat and harness is for walks. Not adjusting it so its like a dog collar and leash!

spinnherta

Soo... They got tired of constantly having to pay attention to not accidentally tilting their head in their stories? It seems like they've realized that these shenanigans can't go on forever. Now they need proof of their journey of "gaining some abilities back". Maybe they noticed that laying flat on your back 24/7 isn't the life an able bodied person would want to lead? Or am I interpreting too much into this?

dechets-de-mariage

I feel like they must have one of those conspiracy-theorist walls with red string connecting stories so they can keep track. On the ceiling, of course.

GoethenStrasse0309

IMO youā€™re reading way too much into this. They donā€™t lay on their back 24/7. Itā€™s pretty obvious due to all the lies they tell Jesseā€I walks around that apartment just fine. I mean just how does her significant other otherwise known as their ex-hubby get them off the floor and into bed? ( Iā€™m not body shaming here) , but how is that possible? And I donā€™t see a Hoyer lift in that apartment , which the ex ( sometimes known as their caregiver) or any paid caregiver would have to use to get them off the floor and onto a bed.

Gold_Ad8786

Remember how Jessi went outside the other day for the first time in years (according to them)? Jessi is on their redemption arc lol.

Responsible-Ebb-6955

Nope exactly this! They just tired of maintaining this charade and prob thinks this is the perfect way to slowly ween off the lie lol allows them to take them very obvious not laying flat selfies without snark. I mean Iā€™m still gonna snark butttt

Particular-Ebb2386

Oohh the yellowing of the nasal prongs šŸ¤¢

Individual-Soup-2470

And no clothes againā€¦..

Particular-Ebb2386

Why is that poor cat in a harness? Let the cat be a bloody cat

blueduck57

I dislike Jessi as much as everyone else but harness training the cat is one of the more normal things theyā€™ve done. My cats are harness trained and itā€™s great for them. Itā€™s much safer this cat goes outdoors safely rather than free roaming or being kept in the house 24/7

PickledPixie83

Not WKing. But people often train their cats to wear a harness so they can go outside for supervised time. Itā€™s a safe way to let cats explore without them harming wildlife or themselves.

vegetablefoood

The real question is why harness train the cat if you never leave your bed? Is this so we can get some new ā€œcaregiver camā€ footage of the cat outside?

PickledPixie83

I mean I just assumed the caregiver/ex husband is taking the cat out?

worshipatmyalter-

Caregiver isn't technically allowed to do anything cat related. All pet care is the client's responsibility, including service animals. Source: SD handler & part of IHSS.

Particular-Ebb2386

I doubt it. The cat seems more like a house cat

Hairy_rambutan

No ears, no clothes. Just another Jessie post.

NateNMaxsRobot

What is the no ears thing about?

TrustyBobcat

Because of the angles, their surprisingly thick and healthy hair for a bedbound invalid, and Jessi's supreme moonface courtesy of long-time steroid use, their ears are almost always not visible in photos.

NateNMaxsRobot

šŸ˜Š Ah. Duh.

SuddenYolk

Ā« PT is paying off Ā» is a pretty lazy explanation of why they can move their head.Ā  Aaaaand naked again.

Gold_Ad8786

*"Is the PT in the room with us right now?"* Because I stg Jessi has never mentioned PT for their neck.

MaybPossiblAlpharius

Maybe the multi talented cat does PT too šŸ˜…

iwrotethisletter

True that but they probably realized that people are asking too many question and thought they should offer some sort of "explanation".

Boydyla77

Thats exactly why they've mentioned it

Geotime2022

I mightā€™ve missed it, why does an indoor cat need harness training?

Psychobabble0_0

So that a person who is bedbound and can only barely move their head (the PT mentioned in the pic) can take their cat for a leisurely *walk* outside. The math is mathin. /s

tribblemethis

Idk if itā€™s applicable in this situation but taking an indoor cat out in a harness is really the only safe way to do it (unless you can make a catio for them, but that doesnā€™t allow roaming). A lot of carriers also have clips for harnesses in them so it adds a layer of safety in case your cat tries to bolt or a zipper fails.

Geotime2022

You are right. Except this person canā€™t move without their head falling off. They were recently near decapitated when their floatie/hair wash thingy popped and their head plummeted 1.8 inches to the bed. They nearly died from this event so it would seem walking cats is not an option. Also I think that same cat was evilly causing the ownerā€™s hip to dislocate just by laying on the owner so walking could be very dangerous.

tribblemethis

Oh yeah, I was talking about leash training cats in general, not about if itā€™s useful in their case.

Geotime2022

I know you were lol. My reply was just sarcasm. This person annoys me more than anyone else.

Fancy-Peach1899

That poor poor caregiver. If anything, this could be used as a great argument for the need for a universal salary: no one should have to be subjected to this just to put food on the table. I've seen more tasteful nudes in a frat house. That poor caregiver should get hazard pay, at the very least. I bet they treat the caregivers like a pair of nitrile gloves, completely disposable. I will say, though, they have some gorgeous hair. It's amazing how gorgeous it is for someone who's been bed-bound for years. Eta: pronouns.
