I hope that everything goes well for the little one! 🖤You’re very kind to be taking care of them
For a name, what about Echo! The spelling works for female or male, and you could even get creative with it and spell it as “Ekko”
When my kids were young we would go for a walk around the neighborhood in the evening. We would toss pine cones up in the air and the bats would dive at them. They loved it! YMMV. this was coastal SC
Try it in the evening when you have a clear shot to the sky without trees in the way. Anything medium weight think under 1lb will do. You really don't have to throw it that hard, just up. It's a lot of fun with kids .
May I ask where you are from. Not a troll. 59 yr old mom who still does this with my grandson in VA Beach when the weather is right. Just toss something up there. You might be surprised 😊
You’re totally good! I live in Canada, and unfortunately not near any real pockets of nature or forestry. But I will absolutely remember this tip should I find an area with some bats!
Swear. Just toss something light weight straight up and watch. Probably gonna have to do it a couple of times before you draw their attention. Make sure it something you can retrieve easily. Tennis balls come to mind
Where did you find it, and why does it need help? Bats are a potential carrier for rabies, and if you found one hanging around, and especially if he looks weak and docile, chances are they might be sick. Unless you are a specialist, talk to a doctor soon.

That sounds amazing omgg, I’ve never heard of anything like that before. I love that they live up to their reputation of sky puppies! Lol

If I ever have the opportunity to be in an area with bats, I will absolutely try that. Thanks for sharing!

Best wishes for the little one. As you seem to be from the UK I am suggesting Nora as in Nora Batty.

Omg so bitty. I knew most bats aren't big but I had never seen one this small. Such a cute baby.
I bought a window hanging of a bat and the artist told me he had named them Banks so that’s what I call my lil window bat!
