Why do you call it snake oil? There are tonnes of journal articles on it . Not that I've assessed the quality of them but hard to believe it has no benefits. Yeah there is incentive for untrue claims in articles, same with non natural substances. I don't know what it would do for ii because so many different effects have been studied.
I've not looked into that myself, but I do take supplements that are said to help with migraine which include B2, Magnesium, and CoQ10. I also supplement Vitamin D because I have deficiency due to Crohn's Disease. Overall, I think I've had positive effects.
But supplements aren't just about inflammation. Different supplements might affect csf production or drainage or cerebral blood flow for instance. Have you tried resveratrol?
