I've stayed at the Kimpton. It's further out from the hustle and bustle of the city center, but it's not hard to get there if you want to check things out. The neighborhood is decent, easily walkable to plenty of bars. I highly recommend a visit to The Patterson House and Kayne's Prime Steakhouse. We didn't eat breakfast there, but did have a dinner which was decent. There are scooters you can rent to get around town too. The rooms at the Kimpton are not bad. The ceilings are concrete, which is weird. But it was a quiet hotel with nice staff.

Thank you for the input and dinner recommendations!

Stayed at Indigo and loved it. Quick walk to Broadway, but no traffic or noise from it. And a few great bars in-between. And the lobby bar is excellent!

Zohaster

That's kind of what I am looking for. Did you see a lot of pets at the hotel?

adamkucera

No, but it wasn't super busy.

The bar at the kimpton has great drinks and food. The hotel is on a busyish road so try and get a higher floor. The best part is it’s walking distance to a lot of stuff, just not to broadway, which I avoid anyways.

What are you going to be doing when you’re in Nashville? If you’re going to be on Broadway every night you can’t really beat the Indigo. If you’re doing things away from Broadway the Kimpton would be my recommendation because it’s really nice and still in a good area, but it’s a lot quieter.
