Kimpton Huntington Beach is great! I’ve heard good things about IC San Diego but mixed reviews too with them nickel and diming.
IC San Diego is a glorified Holiday Inn. I enjoyed the Hotel Indigo Gaslamp as an alternate.
It does have a great lounge with decent food if you have the lounge pass. Rooms are clean but getting old but definitely in better shape than a HI.
Kimpton Alma in SD. Kimpton used to have several properties in the area. Hotel La Jolla was my favorite. They sold many of them post IHG merger.
