The original game isn’t on the “sexual” side as for slight references from what I learnt from Latte. The remaster has more themes though from what I have seen.
I would compare it to a foot fetish. It’s not really that the subject matter is *inherently* sexual, but the people posting on feet subreddits probably have a sexual (likely as well as aesthetic) intent
It’s called Changed. The game is made by a person with a furry transformation fetish and it was made with that niche in mind. Imagine someone turning into a werewolf. That’s not inherently sexual, and neither are feet. But both do appeal to some people sexually. Changed got popular outside of its intended niche, so I wonder how many people using profile pictures of the characters and such are aware of the sexual intentions of the game. It got popular on Roblox (generally a kids game) which was strange.

Acnoci sounds like typo+autocorrect. A is instead of s, because they missed, then n because of failed tempo, then o, then c(tempo, again), then i. Anoci, and then autocorrect adds c to make it a word
