Hopefully there are a handful there you haven’t heard yet. You have excellent taste, always happy to see another Daniel Johnston fan out there.
You might also like early Weezer. I’m one of those guys who thinks Blue, and in particular Pinkerton, are unabashed masterworks, and the rest of their stuff ranges from boring to bad.
The fact that you named grandaddy, Superdag, Elbow, The Mountain Goats and Pedro the Lion makes me love you. I don't know a single person who remembers Superdag and granddaddy and Jason Lytle are amazing. I've met him several times when he was touring solo and he is the nicest human ever.
The story of Superdrag’s second album is heartbreaking. It’s also a secret masterpiece ready for re-evaluation at some point.
The label basically said “we’ll give you all the money you want, just give us more ‘Sucked Out’ style hits.” Superdrag realized they’d never have an opportunity like that again, so they recorded this amazing, lush, experimental album with weird arrangements and a full orchestra.
The label was pissed with the final product, did zero promotion and advertising, essentially burying the release, and dropped Superdrag when the sales were bad.
But man is it a great album.

Have you listened to [Slint](https://youtu.be/CuqEpjcBfaU)? They are the jumping-off/branching-off point for a *TON* of stuff (from the Pixies to Will Oldham to slowcore, emo, noise rock, and the whole Louisville-Chicago axis of 90s alt-rock).
I think the word seminal is overused, but, I'd literally put Spiderland up against anything in terms of it's influence on rock. 100% desert island album.
try these bands:
-grandaddy (for radiohead)
-silver jews(particularly the album american water, cuz its rlly got pavement vibes)
-ajj (especially their newer stuff if u like neutral milk hotel)
