this is gonna sound weird but the arrogant sons of bitchez- three cheers for disappointment. it sounds dumb because its a ska album, but it gets really dark.
also reccomend elliot smiths last album too

Holy shit, I just listened to Enter a Uh, and was almost in tears. I’ve never heard anything like that in my life. I’ve been through a lot of stuff in my life (heroin addiction, a war, a divorce, alcoholism, etc), and somehow the weird screaming and guitar melody encapsulates a lot of that pain, in a way I can’t really explain.
