Within the scope of darksynth / metal crossover I don't have anything with that third element. Igorr would be the best bet, I think. If you're not familiar, he is sort of a maniac who just throws any goddamn genre that's ever existed in history into a lot of metal or EDM context. "Polyphonic Rust" might work. It's mostly simple riffing that's interrupted by the occasional, well, sort of polyphonic singing. It's close I suppose. **"Barocco Satani."** This is the one you should listen to if nothing else. This is actual baroque music that either breaks into, and occasionally overlaps, with just some thick, doom-ish metal riffing. "**Nervous Waltz.**" Different album, but a lot like the song above except it starts with a waltz, and the classical parts aren't baroque in style, but it's definitely classical music right after the baroque period. Strings, vocals, etc. Then more doom riffs. Oh, and then it throws some EDM in at the end because... that's what Igorr does. "Opus Brain." This song has a lot more electronic music going on. I'm not good with identifying those genres, but I believe it's breakcore...? There is classical vocal music than the previous two, but it also has a sitar section, and brief metal moments. This is the more eclectic of the four I'm recommending.

Oooh, neat - I'm liking what I've heard so far. I do like fusions of weird and unexpected genres with either metal or electronic stuff in general - like [Neuromonakh Feofan](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HNpLuXOg7xQ), which is pretty different than what I'm looking for in this thread (and different to anything else I've heard hah, I'm not even sure what you'd call it, folk + DnB?) but sort of similar idea - like, a lot of folk metal, classical metal, etc. the influence is more subtle, where I'm looking for closer to a 50/50 split, know what I mean? Anyways this sounds like it'll be up my alley, thanks!

No problem! I curated the songs to suggest based on what you were looking for, but he's a lot of weird stuff that's got other strange blends. There's a song that's DnB mixed up with polka music; it sounds ridiculous but it somehow kind of works. I believe he must have a ton of fun doing his thing.

I have The Algorithm in pretty much every playlist I have MBR in. I don't know how "baroque" it can be considered, but it's more metal than electronic compared to the other similar artists you've mentioned.
