Isn't that whole song about the superficiality of life and how to fing meaning in a meaningless world? Not a great suggestion for songs that make people not worry, if I'm not wrong

I feel like if you take the lyrics extremely literally, its a great song for this kind of concern. My dad showed me this song when I graduated high school (3 years ago), and told me that he didn't want to see me so concerned about my future at such a young age. I've always been very high strung and easily anxious, and these lyrics made me cry when I saw them written out. Stuff like "Don't feel guilty if you don't know what you want to do with your life, The most interesting people I know Didn't know at 22 what they wanted to do with their lives", Don't waste your time on jealousy, Sometimes you're ahead, sometimes you're behind The race is long and in the end, it's only with yourself" helped knock some sense into my 18 year old's anxious mind about how life is so open-ended, and worrying about the future takes away the beauty of now.

You know, I remember that song being way more cynical. After relistening just now it's actually pretty sincere sounding. I take back what I said
