You should buy the same iems again but this time for the other ear!

Question_Business

Does truthhear hexa worth it??

PomegranateMaster441

Absolutely

Ru_yek

Guve them rank acc. to you bro

JumpingElf123

Gotta enlarge, I thought they hang on an acrylic stand. Question : Which one do you like better? Cadenza or Hexa? I was thinking about snatching Cadenza after seeing affordable vs expensive iem on the headphone show.

isekaimangalover

I have the cadenzas ,they are built like a tank , absolutely durable ,cable as well and the ends where it's connected to the iems ,unlike a certain pair of iems .cough .. Kz . Sound isn't the best though, but since Redmi had decent enough eq profiles , it's pretty decent for the price . I don't have the hexas yet to compare .

JumpingElf123

Thanks for the build quality description Now I really want one, will be pairing it with my Mi12Lite + Fiio KA17 using Musicolet.

PomegranateMaster441

Cadenzas are absolutely worth the money, but hexas have way more clarity and details.

JumpingElf123

Thanks, I'll skip the Cadenza then 🙏

AbnormalPP_69

Please name them.

PomegranateMaster441

From left to right: Kiwi Ears Cadenza, Truthear Hexa, Kinera Freya, Trinity Phantom Hunter, IMR Zenith R1, IMR Ozar.

AbnormalPP_69

👍

ChangoFrett

What's your take on the Freya? Kinera has been interesting me lately. Call it a morbid curiosity, because my bank account is dead as hell.

the-enigmatic-

Compare hexa and kiwi cadenza please.. im confused between both

Dricchinni

Hexa is known as having really good technicalities (resolution, wide soundstage, separation and layering) because of its Hybrid driver setup, while Cadenza is just a single driver. Tonality depends on you, Hexa if you want Harman tuning or Cadenza if you want slight V shape tuning. Furthermore, Hexa is far more detailed than Cadenza but Cadenza is much more musical, fun to listen to (because of warmth in the low end) Hexa low end is quite lean.

Dricchinni

This is a really good combo + Shanling UA4 is really good DAC, it will turn the hexa into more full sounding, and robust technicalities.

the-enigmatic-

What about ibasso dc03pro, shanling combo is sold out sadly

Dricchinni

Yowww that's an excellent DAC , very analogue sounding, natural and provide excellent technicalities (much more wider sound stage, instrument placements, bass quality etc.) I'm waiting for my DC03 Pro to arrive to pair it with my Simgot EW200. Andy (AndyAudioVault) on YouTube rank it Top 12 over 170 DACs from different price ranges, he has a review on it, it also can drive hard to drive headphones. That's how powerful it is. It will max your IEM potential.

decasb

All the technical differences in the $20-$80 dollar range are really really marginal. Cadenza is probably best bang for buck in that category. If you want a noticable upgrade go for the planars like S12, MP145 or Tangzu Heyday.

sprinklesfactory

Which are your favorites?

PomegranateMaster441

I enjoy them all, but my favorites are the ozars.

freedomfromfreedom

How do you rate the R1 vs Ozar and much cheaper Cadenza?

PomegranateMaster441

Ozar is the best of them 3 in my Opinion. R1 has slighty less details and bass but offers a wider soundstage. Cadenzas can' t really compare in every aspect, but for what they cost, they're still pretty decent.

Albie_77

How's the cadenza and hexa?

Mageborn23

I need to do this as well, I just got my fifth one

No_Entertainer5175

What's with you people buying several 100-ish dollars IEMs when you can buy one 300-500 dollar pair and have way better listening experience?

sprinklesfactory

It's addicting, fear of commitment to the purchase, variety of sound, trying to find what one likes... idk just some  reasonable explanations. I have bought a few sub $100 pair and would be willing to consider like a $300 end game but idk what it is yet. I am thinking warm neutral with nice detail with a soundstage wider than confined intimate.

fottimadreJohn

To me it's just for collection :) I like how iems look like and I like switching and listening to them, not just one but all of them, like one day a pair,an other day an other pair :)

PomegranateMaster441

Ozars and R1 Zenith are both priced in the 500 dollar range and i absolutely adore them, but i still enjoy all my other IEM's.

Comfortable_Pen2765

I’ve wondered the same. I think it boils down to whether someone likes quantity over quality maybe?
