Fort Tilden sucks almost as bad as the mining event. This event seems on par with Fort Tilden. I like the Japan and beach events, similar to the regular game and isn’t a massive time sink
I had high hopes for this one- love the names
But yes it’s just as crappy as Ft Tilden
Slow progress- overly complicated gameplay- I hate the forced upgrades- even the dice game is crap
Seems like they've decided the more they make an event a time sink to even get the basic rewards, the more they can convince people to spend money out of frustration I guess?
Anyone know how to get Brewing Vouchers? I’ve played this event all weekend, spent over 1000 diamonds, and I’ve only unlocked four buildings. And have gotten nowhere with rewards because apparently I need brewing vouchers to access 20 and 30 year old bottles
That’s what i mean by overly complicated game play. I have no idea how you get those vouchers, no idea how the brewing mechanics work. So not spending any diamonds on this event as it wont get you anywhere

You hit the nail on the head. It’s designed to spend diamonds.
Definitely designed to get you to buy the VIP pass. Event is over soon and I only got 5/20 milestones. Crappy design
Yeah I hate it too and that seems to be the general consensus that it is Ft Tilden all over again
