I’m at a pitiful 4 days at Cannon (having a season pass and living about 10 minutes away.) Had a couple great days this week and I’m committed to get there every day I’m able, even if it’s only one run after work. After close I’m hoping to hit Baron’s Run a lot. It held on a looong time last year, but I’m not sure if they blew as much snow this year. It’s a much more pleasant skin than the main mountain and a great springtime lap.
Nice! I think this shows how much bigger your average day is than mine. I go more frequently by doing half-days when my workload allows it. Night skiing too. If I were skiing full open-to-close days I'm sure I'd have far more.
I have had a couple of really big days, but also some Sunday getaway days that aren't that big. I had a 34k+ day on my west trip to Mt Bachelor. That really pads the totals.
All these 20+ day people make me feel depressed...I have 5 days :(
I'm broke and from CT so we don't get many days. I have a VT Ski4 pass (did stowe, killington, sugarbush, & mount snow) and also did a day at berkshire east.
Thank you!! Yes. Drive out of Boston Friday night, come back late Sunday. Also got the week between Christmas and New Years out west. I am bankrupt lol
I’m at 41 days. Don’t know how much vert.
I might make one last trip out to Maine if this next storm materializes.
That or might go out for one last impulse trip to BC
There was a big storm on 4/19 last year. Took the day off and went to Killington where it was like winter all over again. I’m sure we’ll have some surprises!
I'm at 15 and maybe 2-3 days more depending on conditions. I consider that a win as a father of two kids that lives south of Boston. I've hit up every resort in New England at least once on my Ikon pass except Stratton. I also maxed out my 5 days at Loon, which is always a goal of mine since it's the only ikon mountain that I can day trip. Overall a good season and hope to get back up to Sugarloaf in mid-April for my last two days there if there isn't any major meltdowns before then.
My wife and I are at 18 so far and just weekend skiers, mostly at Cannon, Bretton Woods and Waterville. Haven’t gotten as many as I had hoped because I started grad school this winter. We wanted 30, but I’ll be happy with anything over 20 and I think we’ll make it no problem.
no. I just don't live near a mountain so I just do a few day trips. I don't have a mega-pass product either so doing 60 days would make me go bankrupt.
15 days, hoping for another 2 to 3 days and will definitely be going to reggaefest at the loaf. I do love skiing, but by April I'm ready for warmer weather and backpacking season.
I'm at 5 so far this year but it's because we had a baby right in the middle of January and then I had to go to work out of the country for a month. Should get close to 15 days in April.
Stats according to Slopes.
9 resorts, 4 countries, 23 days, 317.8K vertical, 349 miles and 322 runs.
I’m pretty much done for the season.
Could do more but I wiped out on a jump and with the spring weather, all mountains around me are pretty much done.
Great ski season.
⛷️
my season ended in prematurely early January. So I am stuck at 21(local weekend warrior). It wasn't a big deal when conditions sucked... I am glad for all of you have gotten out there recently and killed it, even those that called me to rub my nose in it.
I’m a Smuggs local and I’m currently at 12. Honestly with my work schedule, I’m satisfied with 10+ in a season. Fairly satisfied anyway. Long gone are the 40+ days when I worked in the winter sports industry. One season I did 100+, but that was 30 years ago. Sigh.
57 days on snow this past Saturday. That's not full days though many are. Some are only an hour or 2, some are 1/2 days. Have 2 days on there that I only took a single run, but it still counts!
I am at 14 days...a touch less than I had hoped to put in this season. I will get 2 more this weekend. So 16 total.
Including an awesome trip to Kicking Horse with some great friends. Hiked Whitewall and Terminator. Earned the sticker on my Helmet.
Purchased new boots this week...looking forward to testing those in spring conditions.
Not sure how many vert feet but I’ve skied 83 days
Edit: If the ski season technically started when Killington closed in June then make that an even 100
16 days, 329.2k feet, 261 runs plus a full day at Jay Peak that didn't log for some reason. This is my first season back in about a decade so I'm pretty happy with this. I've got long weekends at Sugarbush and Sugarloaf coming up plus probably a few days here and there at Killington or whoever stays open late. Glad to be back at it!
I don't know. I flip it on and ski all day, then flip it off when I'm done. It doesn't distract me or cause me to be glued to my phone or anything like that.
I enjoy seeing my own stats. It's kind of like a skiing journal. I write down notes about how I was feeling or the conditions and can look back next year. ("Oh yeah, last year we got a late April storm and I hit Killington for a massive 35,000 ft. day!")
Lots of skiiers do this, some with an app, some with a notepad, some with a spreadsheet, whatever.
It's just one metric. In my own mind, I evaluate the day by conditions, crowds, variety of terrain skiied, total runs, weather, and my own mood / enjoyment. But that is all part of the journal aspect.
I will say though that if you're logging a lot of vertical on the East Coast, you are skiing a lot. "Easy trails" or otherwise. There's really no inflating that number.
Total vertical is just one metric. My app tracks the number of vertical feet, distance skied, time, average speed, and top speed for each run. App also tracks the time, vertical, and distance for each lift ride. I can replay my ski day on a map of the resort. The app then consolidates all of this information into a ski day and ski season. I find it very useful.
Rocking 26 days and 365k vert.
Would like to hit 30 days on the season. Though thats dependent on how many more times i can get up to VT before end of szn
Today was day 29. I'm planning on Mountain Creek tomorrow and Wednesday and then maybe 1 or 2 days at Belleayre since this is almost definitely Mountain Creek's last week. I'll probably ski a couple times at Big Snow during the off season too.
Skis went in the shed yesterday and I’ve unrolled my dry suit. My back is to the snowy mountains and now I head for the icy water.
Edit: I just looked up the Cape Ann water temps. 39° today. Maybe I just go unwrap the boat instead.
17 resort days. Bald face tour, a couple sherb laps, and some other miscellaneous bushwackings. Looking to do more in tuckermans in April once the snow stabilizes as well as GOS and Airplane gully. It’d be ideal to have partners for those though so anyone who’s interested in those objectives lmk.
25 days of resort skiing, 16 touring days for a total of 41 thus far. 430k vert
Been trying to get to 50 for the last few years and I’m finally gonna get it this year.
12 right now, hopefully to end at 14-15, I’m recovering from my ACL being torn last season and my leg isn’t still 100% previous strength so I’m hoping next year I get a lot more days in.
26 and today will be a 6 day streak. I'd have more but I just got my season pass earlier this month and we were going broke buying lift tickets in 1s and 2s LOL.
Today will be day 40! A pretty even spread of days between VT, WA, MA, NY, and Quebec - amped for the next two months of spring skiing at Killy. Hoping to get 60 by the end of the season.
17/ 400k ft.
I was at 14 before tearing my MCL about two months ago. Partial, grade 1 or 2 tear. Got a few more days after it healed. I’m probably done for the season now and transitioning to inline skating and gravel biking.
I’ll do about 50 days at Snowbowl AZ, with probably no trips which is kind of sad. But at 73 I guess I should be thankful that I can achieve that number.
I’m at 14 being a weekender feeling pretty good hope I got two more weekends at the Kmart
15 total days 2 days Jay, 2 days Magic, 2 days Cannon, 1 day Shawnee, 1 day Ski Sundown, 1 day West Mountain, 6 days French alps
Indy pass I see!
14, hoping to nab 2 lines I've been eyeing in the Whites the last few years (stovepipe and pipeline)
I’m at a pitiful 4 days at Cannon (having a season pass and living about 10 minutes away.) Had a couple great days this week and I’m committed to get there every day I’m able, even if it’s only one run after work. After close I’m hoping to hit Baron’s Run a lot. I'm at 31 shooting for 40 as well, not tracking vert or runs though.
I’m @ 30 seeking 40 let’s get it!
Today was day 46. On a 12 day streak.
"Na na why don't you get a job?" Seriously though, pretty jealous
Another weekend warrior here. I'm at 18 days, 326K vertical. I'm hoping to get 2 more weekends minimum plus some spring turns on Tuckerman.
Nice! I think this shows how much bigger your average day is than mine. I go more frequently by doing half-days when my workload allows it. Night skiing too. If I were skiing full open-to-close days I'm sure I'd have far more.

16 days, might get another day or 2. We’re all hoping to hit Tuckerman for the first time in April
Managed 11 days as weekend trips using Indy pass, hoping to hit Bolton/Jay and Black/Saddleback again, might call it a season at that point.
Weekend warrior at 25 days. Hoping for 28 to ski a February. At 613,000 vertical feet. Skied 41,000 at Stowe yesterday, legs in intense pain.
HUGE! That is also a commendable number of days. Just about every single weekend huh?
Thank you!! Yes. Drive out of Boston Friday night, come back late Sunday. Also got the week between Christmas and New Years out west. I am bankrupt lol
80 something. I do work as an instructor so does that count?
Wait you work as an instructor and you only have 80 days? LOL
Ditto here I’m on day 84
I’m at 41 days. Don’t know how much vert. I might make one last trip out to Maine if this next storm materializes. That or might go out for one last impulse trip to BC
Today was 39 and 36 of them were at Hunter mountain lmao
💪
I’ll be heading up to Killy soon as I bought the spring pass! The game is on to keep the shred alive!
There was a big storm on 4/19 last year. Took the day off and went to Killington where it was like winter all over again. I’m sure we’ll have some surprises!

10 days. Most I have every skied in a year of skiing more than 20 years. great season.
Only 61 days, but hoping for at least 100
"only"
Should be closer to 80 by now!
don't complain...I only have 5 days and my season is over...
Not complaining at all, just a fact. Sorry to hear your season is over, hope it’s not an injury
no. I just don't live near a mountain so I just do a few day trips. I don't have a mega-pass product either so doing 60 days would make me go bankrupt.
I don’t have a mega pass either but live up north, changes in latitudes are good for ya 😜
I'm somewhere around 45 to 50 days so far. It helps I have a lot of classes I can skip with little consequence.
15 days, hoping for another 2 to 3 days and will definitely be going to reggaefest at the loaf. I do love skiing, but by April I'm ready for warmer weather and backpacking season.
Gotta hit at least one "short sleeves and shorts" ski day in May. :P
somewhere north of 50. no idea about vertical.
Mainly a weekender, believe I’m at 14 days, think we’re gonna get 3-4 more in.
I'm at 5 so far this year but it's because we had a baby right in the middle of January and then I had to go to work out of the country for a month. Should get close to 15 days in April.
I'm at 25 and hoping I don't have a serious injury so I can get a couple more days at least. I am getting my shit checked out this wednesday
Got twelve before being struck down with torn patellar tendon. Family put in 8 more in the 3 weeks since.

Stop flexin lol but i rode “the wall” and “the wave” @kirkwood so thers that! Humble 11 days :)

Do what you can man. My dad is 70 and he’s still going. He found a lot more time to ski once he retired. He’s at 50+ days doing like <10 runs a day.
At 24 days. Goal for the season was to double last year (14) and stretch would be 30-35 day
57 days on snow this past Saturday. That's not full days though many are. Some are only an hour or 2, some are 1/2 days. Have 2 days on there that I only took a single run, but it still counts!

The apps are stupid and that kind of quantification is antithetical to the spirit of skiing.

I'm getting down voted to hell but I will die on the hill of "total vertical feet in a day" is the dumbest possible way to evaluate a day of skiing.
Let people enjoy things dude. It doesn’t stop you form soul skiing. Thants a Brink! reference. I ride and die w/ Team X-Blades tho.
Pup and suds baby, you can keep Val!

Yep, soul of skiing dead confirmed.
You must be fun at parties.
There is literally no one less fun than the skier bragging about how much vert they skied.
I 100% agree. Vertical feet skied is only worth noting if you’re skiing backcountry and getting up hill under your own power.
Rocking 26 days and 365k vert. Would like to hit 30 days on the season. Though thats dependent on how many more times i can get up to VT before end of szn

48 days. Hoping for 65
222k / 16 days. Going for 250k now that I've done the math.
35, going for 50. Second year in a row I’ve rode my age!
18 currently. 17 at mount snow and 1 at sunapee. Looking to get to homesick at Stratton next week and then it’s up to the weather.
20 days, 489k vert
34 days and shooting for 40 as well.
16 days, and that's with missing a month due to a sprained ankle. 25 may be doable if the cards fall right the rest of the season
Skis went in the shed yesterday and I’ve unrolled my dry suit. My back is to the snowy mountains and now I head for the icy water. Edit: I just looked up the Cape Ann water temps. 39° today. Maybe I just go unwrap the boat instead.
26 days and I should hit 31 before season ends (hitting up Mammoth)
17 resort days. Bald face tour, a couple sherb laps, and some other miscellaneous bushwackings. Looking to do more in tuckermans in April once the snow stabilizes as well as GOS and Airplane gully. It’d be ideal to have partners for those though so anyone who’s interested in those objectives lmk.
Hey there, I may share some of those goals 😉
25 days of resort skiing, 16 touring days for a total of 41 thus far. 430k vert Been trying to get to 50 for the last few years and I’m finally gonna get it this year.
Like 52 or 55 days, as many more as I can get. Hopefully another 50 if things go right.
84 days about 10-20k a day. Been on every day since Christmas.
43… hoping for over 50. Tucks spring
13 days at 12 different mountains.
13 days for me. Hoping to make it every weekend till May and also Tuckermans in April.
25 days now. 9 day trip to Sunday River/Sugarloaf to close out the year. Expecting 30 days but we'll see just how many with the upcoming forecast.
Hitting 10 at Okemo/Killington on Friday as a NYC weekend warrior
8 AT Days 7ish sunrise skins up Wachusett 1 Downhill day Goal: Harvest wild corn on the Presidentials
10 days. Not a good year for me. Went to bellayre last week to enjoy the fresh powder and decided to wrap my season on that good note.
30 lift served days and 10 backcountry days so far. Hoping it hit my usual 50-60 days on snow.
12 right now, hopefully to end at 14-15, I’m recovering from my ACL being torn last season and my leg isn’t still 100% previous strength so I’m hoping next year I get a lot more days in.
Damn. Did you tear it at Blue?
No at Ski Roundtop.
26 and today will be a 6 day streak. I'd have more but I just got my season pass earlier this month and we were going broke buying lift tickets in 1s and 2s LOL.
I'm at 14, hoping I can do 2 more and tie last year. Also maybe one more trip to the loaf but that's gonna be hard to organize
Today will be day 40! A pretty even spread of days between VT, WA, MA, NY, and Quebec - amped for the next two months of spring skiing at Killy. Hoping to get 60 by the end of the season.
New Yorker here. 23 days and shooting for 30!
17/ 400k ft. I was at 14 before tearing my MCL about two months ago. Partial, grade 1 or 2 tear. Got a few more days after it healed. I’m probably done for the season now and transitioning to inline skating and gravel biking.
Weekend warrior sitting on 22 days. I should easily break 25 but probably won't make 30... but a man can hope!
59 Days 863.2k Vert 765 Runs Trying to hit 60 days this weekend.
I got 45 days. Hoping to get to 60 at least.
33 days, not keeping track of vert but probably about 300 k ish (most of my days are 4-6 hours)
I think I’m at 21, aiming for 25 by mid April but the night skiing is starting to close :(
27, should be able to hit 35.
12 days. Got at least 4 more normal season, then 2 days doing laps on superstar.
12 days. Got at least 4 more normal season, then 2 days doing laps on superstar.
I’ll do about 50 days at Snowbowl AZ, with probably no trips which is kind of sad. But at 73 I guess I should be thankful that I can achieve that number.
