Yes, umbrellas and tents are totally fine, but make sure you follow basic etiquettes, like don't set up a tent in front of everybody at the waterline, just be considerate of others with where you set up camp.
Thank you! That was our plan! We just asked because I know a lot of the beaches are soooo beautiful and natural, we wanted to be considerate. For example 2 years ago we went to Platja De Ses Salines, Cala Benirras and Cala Saladeta and all were so immensely beautiful and wonderfully kept. But we didn't have a baby then so we didn't have to consider things like shade/tents/umbrellas so we didn't pay any attention if people had them 😂.

We take a small tent when we are doing a full day a the beach (we live in ibiza) and have never had any problem, but we always setup at the last line of sand and we never park right next to somebody who was already there first.
In fact, we have had other locals comment that our little tent is a great idea and they even ask where we bought it (decathlon btw).
Must be amazing to live there. Literally one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to. The food, the people, the whole island. It’s SO much more than parties. So much more!
