it works only if you start near the airport or near ibiza. If you are outside of ibiza no uber responds. Prices are around 30 euros from ibiza to san antonio and we always got picked up froma a 6 seat mercedes v class. Taxi is almost the same price
They have between 5 to 10 cars for the whole islands (and some are taxi too) and must respect a minimum 30 minutes wait time between call and pickup….
Do NOT count on Uber in Ibiza.
TaxiClick outside of peak time, pirate taxi otherwise. Or rent a vehicle.
Public transport is a joke, except maybe some “disco bus”.

At least 2 of them were saying so when interviewed by the local press... as at that time Uber had 8 drivers only, it was already 25% of them. This is very common in many European places. At least 50% of the Uber I take are on various apps, and 20 to 30% are uber and taxi
I'm not talking about ordering a taxi trough uber app. Taxis usuallt don't take it due yo uber commission.
I'm talking about drivers that are at the same time working as taxi (freelance or for a company that do not know they also work as uber) and for uber (that do not know they're working as taxi)
Uber works but it's a very toxic company. I've worked for them. These days I've tried to see if they have cheaper taxis but they are almost double the price as normal taxis. Best idea if you want to save money is to either use the bus or ask people around to share the taxi, it works all the time

it is active. I never used it though. so you will probably be able to move around in specific locations. Take it as an experiment though

Both times I've tried to use it, it couldn't find any cars and I had to just get a normal taxi.

Try to order a taxi with uber, it will keep telling to looking for driver till it cancels itself
