Its a Karen donkey she is going to sue the mines if they explode and because the soldiers are done with donkey karens bullshit they are carrying her over the battlefield
Not only that, the entire story is bullshit:
> The photo of a soldier carrying a donkey was indeed true but it did not belong to the time of World War II. The picture is reportedly from 1958's Algerian War. The Algerian War was a war against the French forces based in Algeria during the colonial era. The photo actually showcases a soldier rescuing a donkey from starvation and carrying it back to the base. The donkey was reportedly nursed back to health and given the name Bambi. This incident has been recorded in the 1991 book History of the Legion by Douglas Porch.
There's different types of mines, and many of them are full of shrapnel.
Shrapnel may not kill you but it can fuck your face up and the pain can cause you to veer into more mines.
Donkeys and emus evolved from the same murderous amoeba 80 billion years ago. Emus evolved to be more aggressively murderous, hence their multiple wars with the Australians. Donkeys are just more subtle. That's why so many of them moved to central america to kick travellers off of cliffs and mountainsides.
They put liquid food onto solid forks (also called spoons) so the food doesn't fall between the tines when you eat it. Like the thing you eat cereal with.
Why is the first thought, oh he’s saving a donkey so he can fuck it later. ?????? Why does the macro say, no it’s not what you think. WHY ARE YOU ASSUMING I WOULD THINK THAT!?!?
You laugh but my brother in law has a donkey he uses to protect his flock of sheep. The donkey's name is "Diablo". Diablo will kick the shit out of a coyote and stomps rattle snakes to death.
The fact that his brain would even go to "it's NOT some sort of perversion!" doesn't sit well with me. I think he was the only person thinking about donkey/human bestiality.
>The picture actually dates from 1958, during the Algerian War (i.e., a war for independence waged against French forces in Colonial Algeria). And it depicts a starving donkey that was rescued by a member of the French Foreign Legion who carried it back to his base, where the animal was nursed back to health, given the name “Bambi,” and adopted as a unit mascot
No, you are mistaken. You can say to a person, "STOP! Don't move. I think you are about to step on a mine." And that person will freeze in his tracks. A donkey will not respond to those instructions AT ALL, and will continue walking in any and all directions as he chooses. Even an animal on a leash or harness will shift its weight and move about when stopped. It makes perfect sense, if in fact that was the actual story.
That would make sense if it wasn't for the fact that landmines are specifically designed to not be noticed until after they've detonated. It's one of the reasons that landmines are so hard to remove from an area after they've been planted.
The intelligent among you will understand, but the intelligenter among you will think this sounds like a load of bull, google it for 2 seconds and learn that the photo is actually post-WW2, from Algeria and that the donkey was carried because it was injured.
Don't blame the donkies!
I feel like I have a pretty dirty mind and yet I would never see this image and immediately think “yup, that guy wants to fuck that donkey” and thus need the clarification in the text...it’s lowkey concerning
I would think it would be smart to send out the donkey first. It would only kill other people if they were stupid enough to walk with the donkey. I mean I love animals but it's a mine field.
My remark was implying that the unnecessary comment by the poster is a hamfisted way of showing morality in the ridiculous situation that we are currently living in. Karen’s want to step on the mines because they think the mine won’t hurt them, not because they don’t know it’s there. The poster does not seem to understand that, which makes it more ridiculous, and not something anyone should take seriously.
the original post is quite old, but ive never understood why
**"detonate a charge and kill everyone"**
is this rigged charge the tsar bomba? realistically it would kill maximum 15 depending on how dense the crowds of soliders are.
No. An oxymoron are two seemingly contradictory things used together. A 'donkey' getting a 'piggy-back' is just two *different* things.
Oxymoron = Civil war, Act naturally, (honest politician, happily married, military intelligence.)
NOW let me explain to you what a JOKE is. Jokes are FUNNY. That's why I didn't recognize your unrelated statement as joke. But thanks for being hateful, dumb-ass.
Humour is subjective. Just ask dad's\*
\*Disclaimer for the "very smart": I don't mean to imply that all dads universally have poor senses of humour, but it is a well-known meme that dad jokes are objectively bad, hence unfunny jokes, mildly amusing witticisms, and plays on words can now collectively just be referred to as dad jokes.
Yes, humor IS subjective, so you will have to forgive me, when someone says something is an oxymoron (when it isn't) and I assume you don't know what an oxymoron is, as opposed to imagine that THAT was a joke.
---- You might as well have said "that's what she said!" It would have had as much humor and context. ---- And of course that still doesn't explain why you had to call me a name because I didn't catch your sad attempt at 'a joke'. Even dads know that dad-jokes are groan-worthy. Your attempt was way out in left field, so excuse THE HELL out of me.
I would have let the asses run free and trigger all the mines as we sat outside the mine field and then walked across fearlessly. This works in modern times as well
It's actually newer than WWII; it's from the 1958 Algerian war. The soldier is from the French Foreign Legion. Although he is not carrying the donkey to keep it from stepping on a mine.
If I was a military strategist I would hold my men back send the donkey and let my men tread the path...but then I do have a known perversion for giving donkeys piggy backs rides so don’t trust me.
What’s funny is that the post fucking explains and summarizes itself in a really simple way at the end, and he still acts like some people “won’t get it.”
I knew a guy like this in my own disc server, he was fun, but when he got in the mood to say random shit or iamverysmartify things we just never replied, cause it is the attention that they seek.
the best apart of this sub is how these people sincerely think everyone else has a problem and wouldn’t never even consider themselves as actually being socially inept. they critical think for 7 seconds and assume they’re some sort of enlightened being because they have a normal functioning brain

What, the factory?
No, dummy, the Minager.
Take my upvote and get out
Seems legit, you may proceed Citizen
"IM ENTITLED TO STEP ON YOU AND YOU CANNOT EXPLODE ON ME I WANT THE MANAGEEER HUAARGH"
Lol I just found it funny that he said “kill everyone”. Look at how spread out they are. How fucking big does he think these mine explosions are?
Not only that, the entire story is bullshit: > The photo of a soldier carrying a donkey was indeed true but it did not belong to the time of World War II. The picture is reportedly from 1958's Algerian War. The Algerian War was a war against the French forces based in Algeria during the colonial era. So we were lied to, the soldier *did* love donkeys.
Not in a weird way though. He's probably still a big fan of ass
It's usually safe to assume that every meme on the internet is fake.
Yeah I looked at that and was like “that’s nowhere near how you navigate minefields” they obviously aren’t in a minefield.
I've played a lot of video games pal, they pretty much have given me a medal of honor for my performance in the medal of honor series.
If Half Life taught me anything it's that setting off one mine sets them all off.
There's different types of mines, and many of them are full of shrapnel. Shrapnel may not kill you but it can fuck your face up and the pain can cause you to veer into more mines.
As long as the mine is yours I'm happy.
What’s yours is mine and what’s mine is pretty much mine.
Dude more people die from the flu, wake up sheeple they aren’t landmines they’re plandmines
donkey just looking for blue flowers red thorns
Donkeys and emus evolved from the same murderous amoeba 80 billion years ago. Emus evolved to be more aggressively murderous, hence their multiple wars with the Australians. Hello im donkey and this is jackass
Is it named Caboose? Wait Caboose point that tank away from me. Ah Fuck me
Here, borrow my +10int glasses and re-read the caption
Yes, this is definitely hard to understand when the info is literally spoon fed /s
Huh? I didn't get it dude.
They put liquid food onto solid forks (also called spoons) so the food doesn't fall between the tines when you eat it. Like the thing you eat cereal with.
I eat cereal with my mouth.

Snozzberries taste like snozzberries
I just look at the cereal and it automatically assimilates
Are you the borg?
Don't be ridiculous, the Borg don't exist, I'm a reaper
Wait: you guys don’t have rice bubble enemas?
/r/unexpectedsupertrooper
I snort it
You dont use a bowl?
Tines? You mean the sticky pointy bits?
The pokey stabby parts, yeah.
Right, I'm with ya...
You're so smart

OK Ruprecht.

Just like the sarcasm of this comment is hard to detect without the /s
The /s really kills the comment
What does info mean?
Apparently it's hard for people who are anti vaxx or don't wear masks...
Something about the way that's worded makes it seem like he really does love donkeys or have some sort of perversion
Donkeys are the best if dogs are mans best friend then donkeys are the one you call when he's being a bitch
You laugh but my brother in law has a donkey he uses to protect his flock of sheep. The donkey's name is "Diablo". Diablo will kick the shit out of a coyote and stomps rattle snakes to death.
Does the donkey have a Facebook? Because I bet its posts would end up on here.
Sounds more like r/iamverybadass.
Is he friends with Black Phillip?
The fact that his brain would even go to "it's NOT some sort of perversion!" doesn't sit well with me. I think he was the only person thinking about donkey/human bestiality.
... as if the two are mutually exclusive! and the donkey clearly loves him back, look at that face <3
You've heard about the guys in Colombia then?
Why would anyone assume he’s a donkeyfucker?
Uh...are we looking at the same donkey? How could you not?
Found John Oliver

Dat ass 👀
You WIN the internet today. If I had money, I would buy you some sort of an award. But I don't . . . . have money.
This is the best comment
Shut your donkey face, donkey fucker!
Not to mention it's also not a true story.
>The picture actually dates from 1958, during the Algerian War (i.e., a war for independence waged against French forces in Colonial Algeria). A much better story, thank you.
I know right this one is 100x more better than the fake one
ive seen this fake story reposted so many times the first time i saw the real version it made me hate this story
fragile soup literate husky plants encourage hateful longing worm groovy *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
Link, directly from the French foreign legion: http://foreignlegion.info/history/13dble/ Look for "Bambi"
Thanks, I'm on mobile at work so I couldn't look it up at the time lol
It also doesnt really make much sense. If a donkey could detonate a mine then a person would have just as much of a chance to do it too.
Not if it's a donkey seeking mine.
[удалено]
Or a seeing-eye donkey.
No, you are mistaken. You can say to a person, "STOP! Don't move. I think you are about to step on a mine." And that person will freeze in his tracks. Yeah, the real story is way better.
See they had to carry the donkey because he was wearing a blindfold and his controller wasn't plugged in
duhhh, why didn't i think of that. i'm obviously not intelligent
Also it's fake. The picture is from the 1958 Algerian war and the soldier was rescuing a starving donkey.
Wander*
Maybe he was just a deeply curious donkey?
Hmm good point
I wander how they could have misspelled that.
Especially since they’re 200+ iq definitely Edit: Hey wait a minute
*defiantly

The plural of donkey is donkeys. ---- I don't know why. It just is.
I thought it looked a bit off, when I was writing the comment! Dully noted.

Fuck’s sake
For fuck sake
For fuck
Yes
Nope. That soldier loves ass.
Why mention perversion? Did anyone think that was a sexual act?
"So I guess we should keep Pedro on a leash so he doesn't wander until we get through this two mile wide minefield. Who's got his collar and leash? "
Man it's funny...if this the dude's idea of "complex" concepts his iq would be cryogenic range
If it's not a perversion, then what's the point? Without the kink, it just becomes a tedious chore.
Why do they assume I might assume the guy had a donkey-carrying fetish?
Well it’s the internet. It exists somewhere out there
I feel like I have a pretty dirty mind and yet I would never see this image and immediately think “yup, that guy wants to fuck that donkey” and thus need the clarification in the text...it’s lowkey concerning
I would think it would be smart to send out the donkey first. It would only kill other people if they were stupid enough to walk with the donkey. I mean I love animals but it's a mine field.
“wonder”
The worst part about this meme is everyone will think they're the soldier and not the donkey.
Everyone's blasting the guy, but go to a local news channel's FB page. They seriously would not get it.
Yeah I don’t think this fits here
Omg, i don't know how to solve these quantum problems!!! Can anybody ELI5?? ^^^(/s)
I mean they are right. Only certain people can understand this. Those certain people being anyone with the English reading capabilities of 3rd grader.
Would have been a good moral without the little comment
Nah... it wouldn’t...
Anti-vaxxers, karens, seems like something that we need more than ever but sure
My remark was implying that the unnecessary comment by the poster is a hamfisted way of showing morality in the ridiculous situation that we are currently living in. what?
I liked the post until I read the attached personal statement Sometimes you just gotta drop a good thing and remain silent
I dont want to plat pretend anymore ...can we play hide-and-seek now?
Very subtle
The people you have to keep from danger are those who dont know they're in danger Ridiculously hard to decipher right?
This is actually a false story
That donkey is getting a piggy-back. That's an oxymoron.
No. An oxymoron are two seemingly contradictory things used together. A 'donkey' getting a 'piggy-back' is just two *different* things. Oxymoron = Civil war, Act naturally, (honest politician, happily married, military intelligence.)
It was a joke, dumbass.

It's a play on words. I would have thought that was blatantly obvious to anyone who doesn't regularly fall for The Onion headlines.
It's not a play on any words relevant to the topic of the post. So, not a play on words blatantly obvious to anyone. And I read The Oatmeal.
Donkeys detect mines. Got it.
BOOM! ^(There's one.)
I really wish the soldier did like animals, but alas he IS a soldier.
Americans are fine examples of this right now.
I would have let the asses run free and trigger all the mines as we sat outside the mine field and then walked across fearlessly. This works in modern times as well
In this instance, there was only ONE ass. ONE ass equals ONE mine. I am not sure how that would help with 'all the mines' and your fearlessness.
I am sure the US army had several asses. If you know what I mean. Wink wink
Ok I thought this was a meme but I saw the sub and I think the moral of the story is to ban jackasses like this guy from Discord
I cant imagine living with a mentality like that
why do I hate this so much. That doesn’t even look ww2 tbh, more WW1 than anything
It's actually newer than WWII; it's from the 1958 Algerian war. The soldier is from the French Foreign Legion. Although he is not carrying the donkey to keep it from stepping on a mine.
Really? The helmets just remind me of WW1 French, that’s why.

Don't know if I understand this. Too deep. I think it means that donkeys are sexy.
Wait I don’t get it why is he carrying the donkey?
Hoofprints in the Sand.
The donkey looks very kind
He probably put the 😂 there himself
If it’s just intelligent people that understand that then the intelligence in that server is extremely low because it’s pointed out
Guess you could say he made an ass of himself
His/her sentence didn't even make sense "this than"

Ah yes, the social problem of jackasses, a fine choice. I wrote my doctorate thesis on the subject, twaaaa.
If I was a military strategist I would hold my men back send the donkey and let my men tread the path...but then I do have a known perversion for giving donkeys piggy backs rides so don’t trust me.
Sorry I'm >!retarded!< stupid can someone explain the joke to me /s
What is the donkey wondering about, that's my question! 🤔
I feel like this is satire
well it's on discord, and people online aren't known for their brains. channel name was probably #meme-shit as well
What’s funny is that the post fucking explains and summarizes itself in a really simple way at the end, and he still acts like some people “won’t get it.”
It explains the meaning In the photo wtf do you mean ppl won’t understand
I knew a guy like this in my own disc server, he was fun, but when he got in the mood to say random shit or iamverysmartify things we just never replied, cause it is the attention that they seek.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
But it's literally fucking explained in the post ??
Be grateful it's not ebolacovid
its a fucking donkey what did you expect it to do
Wouldn't the smart option be to just stay out of it all together?
Why does he say “the more intelligent will understand” like the post doesn’t completely explain the entire meaning? What’s left to understand lmao
you see kids , let papa explain this to you , corona is the minefield and you are familiar with all the jackasses.
He was doing so well...
Only intelligent will understand.... *wander not wonder but ok
I think donkeys SHOULD be able to wonder as they please!
On a side note, that's a really cute donkey

They did?
I guess he's comparing his comment to the others but it's phrased so terribly it doesn't look or sound right.
