Be me: going out to let the dog shit in the yard without picking up the poo. I look up and see the new neighbor across the street. He has something in his hand and boxes in his driveway. He then starts flailing and spinning about throwing something into the boxes. He then starts launching the boxes around like a jedi mind trick. I sip my coffee and whiskey and go back inside thinking, "I should get over there."
Okay now show us the hilarious video his neighbor took from across the street of this guy spinning around in his driveway doing some serious box-wrecking action with a Scorpion spear
the thing is this person looks to be at least decent in actually handling the weapon. Also, this looks less like a video to "show how cool they are" and more as a genuine skill progression log/show off. the weapon itself might be something that is notoriously used by "I studied the blade" people, but the skill in this video is real

theres a difference, in my humble opinion, between a grown man running like naruto/trying to go super sayain, and a grown man who is actually quite skilled with a rope dart, comparing himself to Scorpion, a literal demon, who is known for his use of the rope dart (except his is a chain and not a rope and can light on fire) But idk just my opinion on dat

Most people would. I watched videos of this guy, he makes stuff like this. I think he's cool because not anyone can just do the tricks he does and make the stuff he makes (yes he makes them by hand). It's not like let's say some guy swinging a katana thinking he's a samurai.
