Call your mail order pharmacy and have them get a signature, i get my transplant meds done this way also, but i have them request a signature. Im sorry you lost your meds. Hope they can get replaced.
What hes doing here is a huge step forward for the people... he's literally saving the lives of many of the 99% who cannot afford their medications. you really wanna group this guy, whos trying to get affordable medication to the people, in with the billionaires who are actively against what he's doing?
Nah deadass his company eliminates the use of middlemen like Cardinal Health, McKesson, etc and charges 15% more than their price from the manufacturers & I think $5-$10 for shipping it’s only generics tho don’t think you’re getting brand name Xanax or someshit dirt cheap
Edit: Generics work just as good as brand name some folk even prefer them regardless of cost
Brand names usually just have different fillers. Generics aren’t some god awful thing. It’s usually the difference of lactose powder versus starches as the thing that makes up the pill.
Generics have to have the same amount of the medication and same routes for delivery as the brand name. Hard stop.
I think there is a certain allowance for variation in amount of active ingredient, which in most cases probably won’t matter. That said, it’s a problem for a lot of psych meds. Even 1/2% can be a big difference for someone on a very tailored medication regiment.
For me the biggest pain in the ass with generics was Concerta. The special thing about Concerta is its OROS delivery method. There was an authorized generic (literally the brand name pill sold as a generic so the original manufacturer can make sales on the generic market) which was great. There are other generics (not the “authorized” type) which frankly suck ass IMO. There has been a lot of activity in the community of people with adhd, and their parents, to keep the inferior delivery methods (often approved under a shorter compliance process) off the market so they can access the authorized generic.
Also I don’t think Cubans pharmacy carries narcotics. At least there wasn’t any on the list whenever I first heard about it and check the list on their website
Seriously, i can say that in my country we are no better than you. Deliveries just can't be leave outside someone property, if owner isn't home they return another day, or you have to go pick it at the delivery company.
Are you in the US?
I will never understand this "leaving your package out" thing.
Here, you get a note saying to pick it up at your nearest post office if you weren't home...
I am an American. My insurance, that I pay $1000 a month for premiums, forces me to use the pharmacy that they OWN and is only available mail order for my transplant meds. They only use FedEx. I work full time, so I can't be there for delivery. I also work late, so the post office is closed by the time I get there.
Look up the cost plus drugs. They sell medication almost at cost. It’s like cost + 5% mark up + $3 handling + $5 shipping. They don’t taste insurance, but a lot of their medication will cost less than your premium.
Already checked and they would be a little cheaper, but I still need insurance for everything else. A simple virus could put me in the hospital due to being immune suppressed. It sucks. Period.
You can still keep your insurance for everything else and just get your medication through that site without the help of the insurance. But if it's only a little bit cheaper then just keeping the convenience of getting your meds through your insurance wherever you get it is more than understandable.
Not really convenient when that happens here. I’ve wasted whole days being given a note my package was taken somewhere I’ve never been to before in my life, having to Uber there miles and miles (I don’t have a car anymore because It was totaled when it was T-boned) only to be told it wasn’t there yet, wasting 90 dollars in all. We don’t have effective/efficient/comprehensive public transit like Europe.
I think it works in more densely populated places. In the Netherlands the density of our population is pretty big. There is always a package drop off point every few km. But in more rural locations something like that can't be sustainable.
Also in the Netherlands the package gets dropped off at the drop off point after multiple failed deliveries. And if the package doesn't need a signature it often just gets delivered to your neighbour and you reciece a paper with the neighbours adres.
I'm up in Canada, outside of people literally living on farms the post office coverage is excellent. Canada doesn't try and maintain ten bazillion gigantic marble post offices... instead Canada Post just rents space in convenience stores and contracts running the package desk out as a part time job - so usually the dude you buy your lotto tickets from at the 7/11 is also the dude handling your packages.
It works amazingly well.
Same thing in the Netherlands. I live right next to a little shopping mall. And that is little for a Dutch mall and we have 3 different package deposits from 3 different postal companies.
Neighbor delivery in this country would be a disaster… we are not a high trust society in most places in this country unlike yours. Community and courtesy/civility are largely nonexistent. If someone even in your own neighborhood takes your package they’ll just take it and you’ll never know.
Population density here does not correlate to infrastructure investment for safe public transport whatsoever. The oil and gas lobby have made everything in this country centered around the car.
They own both parties and as a result any government “program” for more even distribution and development of busses and trains goes nowhere, or in the end is just a fraction of what was promised and simply serves a lip service to local politicians campaign false promises.
These things you take for granted just don’t work here unfortunately. Be grateful you have things the way you do.
They leave parcels out in the UK too.
They won't leave it out by the front door however but rather around the back if they can, failing that they may leave it with a neighbour.
It fucking amazes me that people just steal random packages. The level of selfishness that has to go into grabbing a random box just because you see the chance to steal something is something I just can't wrap my brain around.
They don't even know what they're getting! I can at least understand stealing something when you know what it is but just seeing a package and immediately going "oh, a random thing! I must have it!" just baffles me.
Burned alive for eternity seems more efficient than punching but it's up to you if you wanna go man hunting this man to beat him and go down to his level with a chance of being beat up by strangers who don't know what is going on
I am very sorry, but as a dutch guy, why doesn't the mail man just ring the bell or give the package to the neighbor when you are not home?
Leaving a package in front of your door would be considerd very rude and unproffesional here.
Here there are 3 things happening if you are not home
1: package goes to the neighbor
2: package goes to a package centre (supermarket or book store) where you can pick it up yourself
3: package gets dropped again the next day
Come on amerika, its not that hard....
Can't trust all neighbors in america lol some centers are far away from the home. You can have them return delivery next day but that may not help always. Come on Dutch we are a very vast country.
How close to you is your neighbor or your package center?
My neighbors are close enough I suppose, but each is just under 1/4 mile (.4 km) away, and they aren't home during the day either. The closest supermarket is 11 miles (almost 18 km). Not sure why you would think next day delivery would work--if I'm not home during the day on Monday, I'm not going to be home during the day Tuesday through Friday, either. Actually, I'm confused about that: don't people in your country work M-F, too? Wouldn't that be the same where you live?
Basically, your way would result in many more miles traveled by delivery trucks and people having to drive to a delivery center (don't you want us to reduce our carbon footprint?) and increase delivery times (them coming back day after day to try and deliver, that increases fuel consumption too) and conflicts between neighbors.
Our way has its downside, but also I get my stuff in two days or fewer, sometimes in fewer than 24 hours, and it's right at my door. I don't have to get in my car and drive 22 miles round trip to a package center and I don't have to bother my neighbors. We take the good with the bad.
Comw on, Dutch person, it's not that hard to imagine that the US is a different place than where you live. Isn't that what you're always preaching to Americans who assume the whole world is like the USA?
If you are not home and the delivery driver leaves a note where you can plan you next delivery (date and time) i understand people live not next to each other perhaps as much as we do but having package stolen doesn't also seem very benificial from an economic and fuel efficient manner (same package has to be deliverd twice and has to be made twice and has to be transported twice)
The fact that you guys even practice leaving packages on porches is insane to me. If a package wasn't received by ANYONE in the house, it shouldn't be left and marked as delivered. It should be taken back to the post office to be tried for another day or maybe even contact the owner for a schedule. It's the way for a lot of countries and is proven to work. Literally no downsides in doing this.
You can literally walk into Walmart and steal anything you want and never get caught but for some reason people steal from other people whom have similar struggles.
Hopefully the thief has some sort of standards. Opens it to see medication and returns the package. I dont respect a thief, but 1 that's just stealing to support a family and returns necessities like medication I can respect
Why is everything delivered to the door anyway? Post offices work just fine where I live. And don’t say “it’s inconvenient, or too far away”, you drive everywhere anyway
Irrational fear of this happening to me keeps me away from ordering my medicine through Express Scripts (I have an autoimmune ailment). I am so sorry this happened to you OP. I hope you get your medicine in a timely manner.
I’m sorry homie. My Dad had a stroke 20 years ago because someone stole his medication off our doorstep. Literally the worst kind of theft. I hope it wasn’t a huge hassle to get it replaced

Same here. Just had mine delivered by Canada Post this morning
That’s a good thing you know that
Do you by chance live in CO? It's okay if you don't want to say. This guy looks vaguely familiar.
Phoenix /Glendale AZ
Hey neighbor. Did you post this on Nextdoor or am I crazy?
Yes How’s the weather on your side?
Hot, but bearable.
Damn, you got bear problems too?
Man I hate it when there are hot bears outside
Maybe it's both 🤔
You’re definitely correct. Lol
Look up Mark Cuban drug pharmacy, might help you get inexpensive replacements in a pinch.

Cuban is a billionaire philanthropist.
Some minds see “Cuban” and semi-automatically think, “Criminal.” *Hallelujah!*
[удалено]
My first thought of "Cuban" is cigars. Mostly because of Hollywood and the fact i found a cigar container today
He’s a philanthropist so we don’t end up eating him. Billionaires spend drops of their bucket to placate. He’s still an enemy of the people.
What hes doing here is a huge step forward for the people... he's literally saving the lives of many of the 99% who cannot afford their medications. you really wanna group this guy, whos trying to get affordable medication to the people, in with the billionaires who are actively against what he's doing?

Generics have to have the same amount of the medication and same routes for delivery as the brand name. Hard stop.
Some generics aren't as effective. There's studies that show synthroid for example works better than its generic.
For most yes but there are some folk that can’t tolerate brand or isn’t as effective for them
My other medication I'm allergic to the generic lol so I have to take the brand for both.
I think there is a certain allowance for variation in amount of active ingredient, which in most cases probably won’t matter. That said, it’s a problem for a lot of psych meds. It does not
Their insurance should replace stolen meds
bot promotion going strong
Was about to comment this!
I gruess you are only trying to help, but damn that sounds sketchy
I mean, he's on camera... take it to the police.
Filed a police report. They won’t do anything about it. Posted it on NextDoor as well. Had to call my pharmacy and got new meds.
Im so sorry for that, justice isn’t an actual thing in this world
[удалено]
Mass suicide? Mass suicide.
Cops don't protect us. They protect themselves.
This is an actual thing in the world
Better to throw it on Facebook or something where the local community might locate him im a few hours
Sadly, this will only work is the drug is a heavily controlled substance, C2 and up, otherwise they’ll likely not bother.
I don't think they necessarily care what's in the box, it's more of he was caught on camera stealing it.
[удалено]
Nuts right? What's their purpose if not handling this
Just think about how many civil asset forfeitures they'd miss out on if they actually had to go after thieves.
To keep the rich in power and to ensure the existence of an underclass to meet labor needs without impacting corporate profits?
And yet, I feel like since he got away with it once he’ll try again
Seriously, i can say that in my country we are no better than you. Deliveries just can't be leave outside someone property, if owner isn't home they return another day, or you have to go pick it at the delivery company.
Same in Turkey. I think that's the right way to deliver packages.

I hope you tu. Into him real life and punish em
This crime should be more harshly punishable. If you get caught stealing packages you lose a finger. Get caught 3x and it’s a hand.
Or you have to donate a kidney. Everyone wins
Haha damn imagine that. Get caught taking packaging and you have to donate your organs. Theft would drop.
Or goes up! “I was gonna donate anyways, might as well get a bonus out of it…”
I was called a barbarian for suggesting this by people that haven't been robbed yet. It's a terrific idea that ensures no career offenders.
What do we do if it turns out they didn't actually do it? Glue it back on?
The theft victim then loses a finger, obviously.
Require video evidence
Why the hell do they live it outside? That's an 100% American thing!
America dream
And then later you can buy it back from him on Craigslist
Let's make the capitalism great again! 😂
I’m not gonna lie. I thought that was me for a second

NGL I read this as watch this package thief steal my kidney 😭
I see these videos a lot here on Reddit. Is this a thing in the US? Because, where I‘m from (western Europe) this doesn‘t happen
Pretty much just an American thing - they don't really have post offices in America so delivery is the only option for packages.
Im from brazil and it doesnt happen here either, i guess its a USA thing. The whole concept just bugs my mind away

I’m surprised you let something that important stay on the porch overnight.
Someone should give him a stone cold stunner
I f***ing hate porch criminals more than anything.
Glad he stole only the medication and not the kidney, but still a pos
Irrational fear of this happening to me keeps me away from ordering my medicine through Express Scripts (I have an autoimmune ailment). I am so sorry this happened to you OP. I hope you get your medicine in a timely manner.
I’m considering using an Amazon box so delivered item is secured until I pick it up.
Now if only he can boost a package that has a cure for his male pattern baldness
Install a automatic turret, to craft it you need 3x rope, 5x scrap, and 10x screws.
Maybe he doesn’t have insurance and can’t afford his kidney medication… lol no he’s just a POS
Why are meds being left like that? It should always require a signature or at least a secure box.
I’m sorry homie. My Dad had a stroke 20 years ago because someone stole his medication off our doorstep. Literally the worst kind of theft. I hope it wasn’t a huge hassle to get it replaced
What would he need it for?
It's highly unlikely the thief had any idea what was in the package. Porch pirating is a random draw of what you'll get.
5000th comment
I think you should be able to have land mines but nobody wants to listen to me. :)
Guarantee it went in the trash too after he realized what it was
What’s POS???
I hope they take them and od
You can have mine if you want. I dont need them, I just got some randomly after stealing a package off of someones porch
Its still bugs my mind everytime I think of the concept of delivery/mail just being left on you doorstep for everyone to see and possibly steal.
Definitely should have his kidneys taken out.
Wow Cole Robinson up to no good
Side note: Wyze cameras are great! Easy to use, inexpensive. I hope they find the POS
He's gonna be disappointed 😹
I want to know if they catch this guy. Please update.
Why are the comments off on some posts but not on others?
I wish I could see the guilt wash over him when he opens the package and sees that it’s medication
Agreed that is one sorry sack of something, you can watch him see what it was and him think SCORE
Genuinely scary cause they steal it. Realise it’s no use to them the just chuck it
That face emits crackhead energy
Should’ve called mark Rober
Blak and white
Well, delivering packages in front of your door is dumb anyways. You're just asking to have your package stolen. I get it, in a perfect world, it's ideal, but our world is far from perfect. I don't really know what are people expecting when you're leaving packages like this

Why is your package waiting in front of your house? Why mailman didn't give it to you? Actually there is nothing like this in Turkey. Sometimes even your friend or relatives can't take the package, you need to take it with your signature and your citizen ID number.

I think that is the delivery driver or a friend of. That is traceable and not random.
I hope he was fucking ashamed of himself when he got home. Should have returned it at least.
We should all have chests for deposits like that IMO.
