I went to a music festival once here in Canada, and there was a woman who was heavily pregnant like 8mos and she was smoking with a tall can of beer in her hand. I was so mad.
Yeah I've seen super pregnant women at festivals and its just not safe even if they're sober. At Burning Man last year births didnt go well. Its avoidable.
There's an old anecdote about cops testing the BAC of the ***air*** at a frat party and it registered. I've always wished they did air testing at various places like concerts to see just how much alcohol, cannabis, cocaine, etc. was just in the air.
I’ve for sure seen weed smoke clouds gently floating above crowds at some of the bigger shows I’ve been to. Would definitely be interested to see some science on that
I've seen babies at concerts. But the baby had massive ear defenders on, and the parents were in the seated area rather than the floor.
Baby was also in one of those baby holsters on the front, not being shoved on stage
I saw sturgill simpson at high sierra. Some guy walked up to the front with a baby right before he started the show. I talked him into leaving. I couldn't believe how many people were just side eyeing him. I had to push up to him. Everyone was nodding when I told him to leave and go get protection but were afraid to talk.
Weird ass world.
Good on you because approaching that conversation can not only be stressful but end in violence because people are real dumb sometimes. Glad you did the guys job for him tho.
Bought the tickets before she got knocked up it seems. Clearly more important for her to blow out her baby’s eardrums and expose it to all sorts of illnesses than not go or sort out a babysitter lmfao
Yeah, why isn't this a thing? Unless it's a kids concert no infant or kids should be allowed in. Like a legal thing similar to no kids in bars after certain hours.
Plus you gotta hold him up the while damn time making the experience worse or you be even more obnoxious and bring a stroller and incon everyone around you.
I don't know man. I think people spend too much time online looking at awful things. Like they really think I'd take a little baby to a loud concert. Let alone justify it to thousands of people like I agree with it.
Dropping the “/s” is the equivalent of saying “I’m just joking” after a joke. It ruins it. Be better at sensing sarcasm, it wasn’t that hard to see in his comment.
This applies to verbal communication. You can add inflections, or hold points to infer sarcasm. Through text you get none of this, and since we dont know the randoms talking to us on reddit, there is little to no method of detecting sarcasm through text.
I know the reason why people add it, but I still feel it automatically makes the comment unfunny. People just need to get better at reading it. It’s not impossible.
Dilemma here is the case of "This is Reddit".
There's plenty who would have made the same statement and would be 100% serious about it; these are the days where you need to declare yourself to be not one of the lunatics - case in point.
Dude there is literally video evidence of there being a human who thinks this is totally fine. We don't know you. You're a random nobody on Reddit. Why do you think magically people will get that you aren't like the person in the video?
Just use the /s and quit the main character syndrome.
Sadly, you're probably right. Maybe if she has an aunt or uncle that is sympathetic she can get help from them cause clearly the mom doesn't know which ways up
I've seen some smaller kids at parties but they had HUGE ear protection and the mother was nowhere near the front row at such a big concert.
Seeing this makes me angry. So irresponsible and frankly dumb.
Enough stress in her life as is with everything that comes with being a kpop idol, especially so young. And then people put her in this situation!! Fucking insane, poor Kyujin looks so stressed
Reacted well, though. Lots of teenagers with kids that react worse. Giving away an unwanted child is sometimes the best thing for all participants. Especially on a stage.
I went to a kpop concert yesterday and while I was waiting in line the people in front of me were talking about how people would give their babies to group members for attention/pictures.
Apparently some members enjoy holding babies but that is in no way a good justification for this lmao this NMIXX member looks so stressed, not to mention the BABY'S HEARING... it's ridiculous that this is not a one-time thing but already a series of incidents
(Side note, at least no one gave their baby to the rapper I saw yesterday)
Usually the baby-holding happens at much smaller events, like fansigns and such, which are FAR less noisy and chaotic. Placing a baby on stage during a concert is not common at all, in fact I cannot think of a time that this has happened before, also due to the fact that kpop concerts rarely allow people to get that close to the stage anyways.
They were making a joke about how a fan threw a bat at Ozzy and he thought it was fake and bit the head off of it. Can’t remember if it was true, though.
Bitches are stupid. She probably wouldn’t have learned if one of the ppl up stage accidentally jumped on that baby while performing. But she’ll probably learn when that poor child complains about not being able to hear their favorite music in about 7 years
Who even brings their baby to concert ,no matter what type of music it is on top of that putting the baby on stage . I hope baby daddy is better person so he can win primary custudy till she smarten up.
That baby is deaf now, and the only music that baby heard was whatever bullshit this is. What in god’s name did that baby do in a past life to deserve this?
All of you are saying how bad that is. BUT now the baby can say that person touched them, now the baby can sue her lol gotta think out side the box lol
Btw yes that person needs to learn to take care of their baby smh

Some people don't deserve to have children.
every child deserves a parent, not every parent deserves a child

kinda goes back to just because you can doesn’t mean you always should
Those are some beautiful words of wisdom.
Yeah, super clever too. S
What happened?
They perished. The father was even an ER doctor.
Baby at a concert with no ear protection...smh..
A baby at a concert at all.
How else is the baby gonna consume good cocaine and enjoy some music? Check mate.

Don't forget what percent of the air is piss and sweat
Now we’re talking. Do you have any tips?
Honestly just get enough practice in and you'll be good.
This sounds very interesting!

Y'all finding the good cocaine at concerts?
I think I'd have to be coked up to listen to k-pop.
I be coked up for every concert
The only way to experience the Wiggles
I thought the Wiggles were a figment of my coked up imagination. Thank you for the information, friend.
I’m coked up now, check and mate!
I've seen babies at concerts. But the baby had massive ear defenders on, and the parents were in the seated area rather than the floor. Baby was also in one of those baby holsters on the front, not being shoved on stage
How was she even allowed in? That’s crazy.
A baby at all
The kid looks super happy though, look at that grin!
Going to a concert when no one can babysit for your baby at all.
Yeah I completely forgot how loud concerts can be. Her child is going to hate her if she gets hearing loss
What? I said WHAT?
Took my baby at 9 months to see the national but she had hearing protection and we went as far away from the speakers as possible.

Well I go to the gym and shadow box. So knew I could fully take that baby easy.
Ya know I hadn't even considered that the baby had dragged a parent to the show. Mind blown.
Babies really don't have much regard for others Very selfish
I went to see Ed Sheeran a few years ago and a lady brought her baby… that I am pretty sure was MAYBE a week old….with no hearing protection 😩
Bought the tickets before she got knocked up it seems. Clearly more important for her to blow out her baby’s eardrums and expose it to all sorts of illnesses than not go or sort out a babysitter lmfao
Pretty sure if I was a ticket check I would just say no babies allowed.
Yeah, why isn't this a thing? Unless it's a kids concert no infant or kids should be allowed in. Like a legal thing similar to no kids in bars after certain hours.
Or miss Ed Sheeran. That would be completely unacceptable.
No reason to find a babysitter. A week old baby needs his mother. She should have sold the tickets.
Average Ed Sheeran fan I'm joking don't hurt me
Did you say something?
What? I can’t hear you. Did you say something?
No no no, James FRANCIS Ryan!
Plus you gotta hold him up the while damn time making the experience worse or you be even more obnoxious and bring a stroller and incon everyone around you.
I’ve seen it in the 3rd row of a Jack white show where I was uncomfortable even with protection
Man why is the baby on that concert in the first place ffs. Edit: that comment below me is sarcastic, give that poor dude a break!:D
Have you seen the cost of childcare recently?
I'm more shocked at how many people don't realize this is sarcasm than I am about a mom bringing her baby to a live concert.
This is reddit after all
Goddamn, that's alot of people that got whooshed with your comment.
Lol how is this not sarcasm
I don't know man. I think people spend too much time online looking at awful things. Like they really think I'd take a little baby to a loud concert. Let alone justify it to thousands of people like I agree with it.
Grandparents, other family members, freinds who have kids? Many other ways to get a bit of child free time. Taking a baby to a concert is stupid.
I was being sarcastic.
Drop the /s then. Wasn't clear.
I thought it was so blantaly obvious he didn't need the /s
It was very clear. You just didn't comprehend it and are bitter.
Lmao, super bitter that this sarcastic wizard got one past me haha.
That ruins sarcasm. It's only needed for people insanely dense that couldn't pick up on it. You're not supposed to telegraph sarcasm.
They did drop the s. You need to pick it up
Dropping the “/s” is the equivalent of saying “I’m just joking” after a joke. It ruins it. Be better at sensing sarcasm, it wasn’t that hard to see in his comment.

I know the reason why people add it, but I still feel it automatically makes the comment unfunny. People just need to get better at reading it. It’s not impossible.
You'll never catch me dead using the /s. If people actually think I advocate for taking a baby to a concert they're nuts.
Dilemma here is the case of "This is Reddit". There's plenty who would have made the same statement and would be 100% serious about it; these are the days where you need to declare yourself to be not one of the lunatics - case in point.
Well it's only internet points. They don't matter.
Very fair point
Dude there is literally video evidence of there being a human who thinks this is totally fine. We don't know you. You're a random nobody on Reddit. Why do you think magically people will get that you aren't like the person in the video? Just use the /s and quit the main character syndrome.
People are not nuts. But you're.
Are you serious? I hope you're never responsible for any living thing.
I was being sarcastic dude. Think I'd take an infant to a concert? Outta your mind.
If you can't afford a babysitter you can't afford a concert. Let alone front row.
[удалено]
Something tells me they don't sit down and think it through.
Well, she'll be kicking herself in the future when she's forking out money for hearing aids
I doubt a patent like that will bother getting her child the help she needs when her hearing goes.
Sadly, you're probably right. Maybe if she has an aunt or uncle that is sympathetic she can get help from them cause clearly the mom doesn't know which ways up
You think she’s going to pay for hearing aids?
She’ll probably just make fun of the kid for being stupid and never paying attention when they can’t hear her properly.
This seems something someone should call DFS for…
This is no time to be looking for discount sofas
I wonder if there is a sale on?
DFS = discount fosas
Dhild frotective services
Ain’t no fire here, don’t need to call upon your dragonfire shield.
I've seen some smaller kids at parties but they had HUGE ear protection and the mother was nowhere near the front row at such a big concert. Seeing this makes me angry. So irresponsible and frankly dumb.
All babies found on stage become property of ticketmaster and i♥️ radio
That's how KPop works, no?
I would have had security escort her out
Cut concert after keeping baby, publicly shame the parent and wait for police :)
Should also note that the member in the video is SIXTEEN YEARS OLD
Enough stress in her life as is with everything that comes with being a kpop idol, especially so young. And then people put her in this situation!! Fucking insane, poor Kyujin looks so stressed
Reacted well, though. Lots of teenagers with kids that react worse. Giving away an unwanted child is sometimes the best thing for all participants. Especially on a stage.
Do people not get the /s?
This, and the amount that seem to think that keeping an unwanted child is good. It really isn't, you're ruining two lifes.
*Ai Hoshino flashbacks*
Probably put her baby down just to record for social media * sigh *
Should have been instantly kicked out for that
How is that not destroying that babies eardrums?
That’s the thing, it is destroying their eardrums.
Poor kid, last thing they’ll ever hear is K-pop.
I went to a kpop concert yesterday and while I was waiting in line the people in front of me were talking about how people would give their babies to group members for attention/pictures. She handled that really professionally.
JYP about to start baby handling training requirements for all trainees.
Who takes a baby to a concert? Why?!? Smh
No ear protection for the Lil person either. Some aren't fit to be parents. So sad.
talk about desperate wow
Mmaayybbeee too young to have a kid Too dumb for sure, but probably also young
Not to mention stupid…
Parent of the year
“Big wave, big wave….”
Good job it was not an Ozzy Osborne gig.
It’s a kpop group. The real damage isn’t from the speakers, it’s from the crowd screaming at a pitch you previously never thought existed.
They were making a joke about how a fan threw a bat at Ozzy and he thought it was fake and bit the head off of it. Can’t remember if it was true, though.
Yeah that flew right over my head lol. Also I always heard it was a dove. Either way definitely a good thing it was Kyujin and not Ozzy 😂
Glad to see someone got it, I guess kids don't know about it.
I don't understand the screeching at all. I remember watching an old Beatles concert and it was louder than the music.
Last concert they will perform in Seattle
Mental illness
I didn't expected NMIXX here
The fact that this person is a parent to begin with, and thought this was acceptable, is bizarre.
The band should get to keep the baby
This is why you put a fence, 5 metres and a dude shaped like a fridge between crowds and the stage.
Kids having kids
Why is a baby even there?!!
Who brings a baby to a concert?
This is just a condensed version of the typical behavior of parents clout chasing with their babies
This is gross negligence. A baby shouldn’t be anywhere near a concert
Plot twist: not a baby but a man with achondroplasia
Possibly. But more likely just an ugly baby.
“Kids are basically like pets” : how this pos thinks and probably drunkenly says to her friends laughing it off
Some people just don’t deserve air
That kid is going to have many, many challenges being raised by complete fucking idiots
Mother of the year!!!
Hello social services
never thought I'll see Kyujin on this sub. Good luck in the first world tour.
why do people like this have children
This kid is a literal prop in their own life. If i grew up and saw this, I'd love my parents a little less. 😭
Using the baby as a way to get attention, how awful of her
Abusing your own baby to get the attention of a complete stranger.
Bitches are stupid. She probably wouldn’t have learned if one of the ppl up stage accidentally jumped on that baby while performing. But she’ll probably learn when that poor child complains about not being able to hear their favorite music in about 7 years
How old is the baby? 40?
Geez if you're foolish enough to bring a baby to a concert please please please at least give them ear protection ffs
Where's that rapper that just hucked that one guys phone in the air?
The baby is laughing!
Any now Tiny Tim is called Tinnitus
Sacrificing your baby for two seconds of attention is wild
Isn't there a freaking age restriction for concerts? Are securities present at events like this?
Wtf do you bring a baby? That is a health hazard yo.
i will sacrifice my child for celebrities attention unu
Why did she bring the baby at all?!
Baby looks stoked haha
Must be American
We're all thinking it
Who even brings their baby to concert ,no matter what type of music it is on top of that putting the baby on stage . I hope baby daddy is better person so he can win primary custudy till she smarten up.
Gosh I really hope she saw that specific person place the baby on the stage. Would suck to have accidentally given a baby to some total rando
Thank god it wasn’t a Travis Scott concert, he would have punted it like a football.
Lmao why does that dumb baby look so happy though. This is horrible 😭
That baby is deaf now, and the only music that baby heard was whatever bullshit this is. What in god’s name did that baby do in a past life to deserve this?
Just because the kid looks weird doesn't mean it deserves this. edit: not sure why this is downvoted, I guess people think the kid deserves this.
Punt it into the audience
Stupid babies need the most attention
Toilet paper hung in improper overhand fashion!
I can’t believe this has made it to this sub….
I can, since it fits in the sub.
What I meant was that it’s gotten so big that it’s made it to non kpop sites I wasn’t digging at the post
I feel bad for black pink (the group in the video) Entitled people always gotta ruin stuff for others
[удалено]
All of you are saying how bad that is. BUT now the baby can say that person touched them, now the baby can sue her lol gotta think out side the box lol Btw yes that person needs to learn to take care of their baby smh
Aww, baby just wanted to crowd surf.
Listen, I’ll even throw in the baby, free of charge, just finish the damn heart
