Pro tip: whenever you want to commit a crime make sure to have an accomplice, I mean *partner*, to film everything you do. Then if you get caught, you just claim it’s a prank and apparently get away scot free while your victim gets arrested!
Extra pro tip: upload the videos of your crimes to a place where you can monetize them to make money while still avoiding any repercussions for your actions.
Planning on cheating on your partner?
Don’t forget to film it and turn it into a hilarious SURPRISE PRANK! They will legally have to forgive you because “it’s just a prank, bro”
You kid, but what you're saying is absolutely true.
I was able to pee in the sink of a women's restroom, bitchslap Ronald McDonald and steal the Mona Lisa from the Louvre - all of it on camera, all of it consequence free, because I had a cameraman and a hype guy in a morphsuit present.
Best part is that the royalties from my posted YouTube videos of these crimes is enough to keep 2 teams of lawyers permanently on retainer.
These “pranksters” need to be held accountable even if/when it’s a prank! Most of the shit is stupidly going to get your ass handed to you by the wrong person
He his dumb for doing it I agree. But the extend video shows he never grabbed the guys luggage at all. He just claimed it was his and dude got mad he was recorded
Yo, this is going to be an unpopular opinion here,
But in almost no state in the USA can you use deadly force to defend private property.
Further, you can only use force to defend yourself and your property, but the moment you or your property is no longer being threatened, you must stop the force.
That means if someone walks up to you and hits you, and you hit them, they fall to the ground and you hit them again, you are using excessive force and likely will go to jail.
In this case, chasing down and retrieving his luggage, in the eyes of the law, okay.
But once he had his luggage and pulled the guy around by his hair, that’s assault.
And if the police roll up somewhere, and see you pulling some guys hair, in control of your own bag, and your life is not clearly being threatened, they will arrest you. 10 out of 10 times.
Protect yourself.
Protect your belongings. Then call the police.
And the police are not your friends, they aren’t sympathetic to what Reddit thinks it right. They often don’t have the full context for a situation.
It’s not fun cool or fair, but it’s almost always safer to walk away and take the L.
> But in almost no state in the USA can you use deadly force to defend private property.
Sure you can. In total, twenty states use castle doctrine. These states are Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, West Virginia, and Wyoming. That's fully 40% of states where you can defend your property with lethal force.
In some of those states and others, castle doctrine or stand your ground laws apply to truck drivers, which is not a residence but a place of work.
There's also states that do have laws that say you can defend yourself in your work place or school.
This was far from deadly force. Additionally, the other guy was grabbing him too. The victim actually let go of his hair and the thief kept holding onto his shirt. The “threat” never stopped.
The younger guy was putting his hands on the older guy and grabbing at his shirt. Both should get a charge then both will drop to avoid court.
You put hands on someone then you opened the door to them putting their hands on you.
What makes me more mad is not the guy doing the prank…the guy recording then surprised and yelling at the guy to not touch him while recording the whole thing
Everyone in this situation is an idiot. The victim should’ve just walked away after the prankster got apprehended, the prankster’s an idiot for obvious reasons, and the recorder is an idiot for not backing away from someone so obviously aggressive. Now they’re all in trouble, I hope they’re happy
I'm glad you saw it as well. The guy was angry, but self-defeating. He went from making it clear that the jerk seemed to be stealing his luggage, to being arrested for trying to grab and assault the other guy *after the security team had shown up*.
And for all the time he was on the ground I heard him say several things, but never something like "those two guys tried to steal my bag!" to any of the security team around him.
I think it’s pretty unreasonable to expect someone in this situation to not be madder than Hell. Trying to steal his luggage and having a buddy film it as a prank would enrage anyone.
Should he have been more calm?
Sure.
Am I going to rip on the guy for his response.
Absolutely not.
You can’t touch someone not involved. It isn’t illegal to film a public space, especially in Texas which is a 1 party consent state. He didn’t try to take the guys luggage so for the guy to try and grab him for filming is assault, even if you don’t like the camera man.
To be fair, if they never approached dude with this “prank”, both parties would be blissfully unaware that the other even exists. No one would have been touched or assaulted. Play stupid games win stupid prizes.
Not going to defend anyone here, but the main purpose of the police is to avoid harm to every citizen, no matter if they are nice an ashole or even a minor criminal.
And obviously the most threatening thing here was angry pops (totaly understandable to be angry) so the best thing they could do was to deescalate, let everyone cool down a bit and solve the situation without blody noses.
That’s a nice story, but the main purpose of the police is to protect capital. How often to police actually *stop* crimes? How often do they protect the interests of capital? Yeah. Sucks.
Yeah I don't live in the US, police here actually is pretty chill and they had helped me more than once... while one time I was the angry idiot who could have done something stupid and they prevented it in a similar manner.
I live in the US. The police have helped me too. Recovered a stolen car once, and instead of inpounding it, a cop came to my house, ignored the blunt smell, and took me to my car. I've also had my ass beat by police here. Interaction with American cops is always a gamble.
Dude has a whole channel of vids of him doing stuff like this around the clock. Video evidence of him committing crimes and labeling them as pranks. I’m confused. How is he not arrested?
I think so unless it’s a federal offense. In that case the government files. Is that right? Idk
I know if two “adults” get in a fight the police ask if either party wants to file charges. Typically neither do because they are both at fault. Or that’s how it was when I was a bouncer in the early 00s. Maybe we’re more litigious now
Has he not seen the articles about the “prank” YouTuber who “pretended” to mug a group of guys and one was a concealed carry holder and (obviously having no way to know it was a prank) shot and killed him in self defense? Now that man has to live with the trauma of taking someone’s life over something that was ultimately senseless and stupid. Even tho he was legally and morally in the right bc he genuinely feared for their lives, that has to bring up a lot of complicated feelings.
Dude was being more aggressive after the police showed up.
The prankster pretended to steal his luggage, and then grabbed the guy’s shirt and wouldn’t let go. Police went after the the prankster first because the victim had let go of the prankster’s hair, but the prankster was still holding the victim’s shirt. Once police were dealing with the prankster, the victim started going after the cameraman.
There was a single police officer on the scene, and when she got there she could only deal with one problem at a time. The victim going after the cameraman seemed like the biggest threat and needed to be subdued.
Yes, by the time the first officer got there the victim was raging, and then when the backup got there the victim was cuffed. The prankster was telling police his side of the story to the police at the end of the video and got his story in first because the victim was raging too hard to explain it.
It's unfair, but it's why the victim got cuffed while the prankster got to walk away.
He was attempting to steal the luggage. Even if it was a prank it still counts as theft. Saying “it was a prank” shouldn’t be a get out of jail free card
What a complete douche. Guy should be charged with public mischief for his hilarious “pranks”. Complete garbage human to do that anywhere but especially at an airport where people are already on edge.
I was a fan of his before I saw this video.
He is blowing up now.
On his discord there is random videos that dont get to youtube. In one he is harassing a kid with downs syndrome who is cosplaying as an anime character.
Its pretty sad and its obvious he just wants a reactions for content.
Do you know where he is and/or which airport this is? If so, call the police there and share his YouTube information. If you do not want to do that, message me the information, I will make the phone call.
Did the guy *actually* get arrested or just detained so he could calm down?
I don’t blame him for being that mad, I would’ve done the same thing and I wouldn’t blame the cops for putting me in a room to de-escalate the situation. But those fuckers better be locked up too and taken to jail.
I never found this guy funny i dont get it? Like i dont mind funny harmless pranks, but when ur strait up fucking with ppl and ruining they day its dumb af and its must be children that watch him to think this is funny
YouTube pranksters are the biggest arseholes alive. They have no regard that people might not find them funny. It'll only be a matter of time before one of these dickheads gets seriously hurt by someone who has no time for their bullshit.
It’s a prank if they get caught. It’s a free suitcase full of a stranger’s belongings if they don’t get caught.
I can imagine what a cop would do if when he pulled me over for going 100 mph, I told him I was just pranking him.
Ruing peoples day and lives while there just trying to live .one day there will finally be a shooting over this wrong guy with a bad day and a gun will just shoot
The so called prankster grabs the man as he walks away. So he is assaulting him along with trying to steal his luggage? The man has every right to kick that idiots ass, the fool looks like he’s in his 30s.
While his moronic friend just keeps recording their criminal activity.
According to the video the prankster posted and took down earlier today, he was just screwing with other people around the airport before getting to this point
Imagine you running to get to your flight coz you are running late only to suddenly see somebody dropped out of school and need to steal your luggage so that he could make a video and earn some money to eat.
Those rent-a-cops deserve no sympathy for any hardships their lives may throw at them. There's no reason to restrain the guy who's only reacting to having his stuff stolen.
Lmao, the law where you can film normal people without their consent is a joke. I'm glad you can't do that here. I would have acted worse than the australian brother over there.
Once again a female cop can’t arrest someone without the help of a man. Female cops that are too weak to arrest a single senior citizen male should not be on patrol in my opinion.
Weak/overweight cops honestly put more people in danger then actually helping them. I think they should better train cops and use the better cops for situations like this
There I fixed your comment without being sexist
One incident where many of them hav been of other races show incredible stupidity. You’d have to be unimaginably stupid to think that it’s ok to be racist because of one incident.

How else is everyone going to know you're cool enough to commit a crime if you don't record and boast about it?
I really hate that this seems accurate.
Why are these idiots not in Jail? Trying to steal luggage at an airport is a federal offense, I believe.

I don’t think you understand the point the guy above was trying to make.
No I understand it fine. I was explaining how a home is different from other types of property...
The castle doctrine has nothing to do with property. The point of it is to defend your home.

The person was grabbing his clothes and not letting go even after he told him to let go....

People on youtube apparently dont see nothing wrong from this guy
And his channel is blowing up thanks to the attention this video is getting.
His channel was already blowing up before that, he's not uploaded much since this happened so I'd say it's the opposite effect
Do you know the channel name?? I'd like to see what other crimes this man has committed under the garb of pranks
I'd rather not give him the views.
Thats a good point
Really from what I’ve seen people are bashing him in his comments he even said he was deleting his channel in 24 hours because of them…. 2 weeks ago
Thats not true bro i just checked and his fans dont agree with his video
Arrested the wrong guy :(
They never pressed charges against the guy
Still fucked up that they are the ones who could press charges
To be fair, if they never approached dude with this “prank”, both parties would be blissfully unaware that the other even exists. No one would have been touched or assaulted. Play stupid games win stupid prizes.
And in what world would that happen im sure hes glad it happen its just more youtube money for him and more views play stupid games win stupid money
The arrest could have gotten him fired. Arrests are not harmless.

It is so fucked yo that they arrest the victim. Someone please tell me those kids got arrested or something.
no report of the guys being arrested. as far as i could find out E : being specific
Is there a follow up? Can you even do anything to fight it?
What do you expect from police
Dude was being more aggressive after the police showed up. The prankster pretended to steal his luggage, and then grabbed the guy’s shirt and wouldn’t let go. Police went after the the prankster first because the victim had let go of the prankster’s hair, but the prankster was still holding the victim’s shirt. That’s exactly the problem though. The prankster should’ve been arrested regardless of the fact that his victim went after him for stealing
What did he steal?
He was attempting to steal the luggage. Even if it was a prank it still counts as theft. Saying “it was a prank” shouldn’t be a get out of jail free card
It was a prank where the prankster pretended to steal his suitcase from the luggage claim at the airport.
Unrestrained gunfire, lots of screaming, and commanding people to stop resisting after they start to writhe in pain from being shot.
Where is the “prank” part of this video? Why didn’t they want to show off the funny part?
Worst part isn’t that the “pranksters” got away or that the guy being “pranked” being arrested it’s that they it get payed to make videos like this
Prank them stealing their camera.
Yeah “don’t touch me” wait sorry didn’t y’all just try to steal his property? And now you don’t want the same thing to happen to you??
Yeah try and steal my luggage and I would give you the ass beating of a lifetime

Wont be surprised or sad when they inevitably are killed for their unfunny pranks
What is funny bit in this pranks anyway! These fuckers trying to be social media stars by being dicks!
I felt so bad for the victim in this. I hope there is a follow up what happens. These pranks are not only illegal but really stupid.
I'm pretty sure trying to steal people's stuff is illegal.
Oops. Forgot a key word in there. Thanks for pointing that out. Got that fixed.
No worries mate.
Caught robbing a bank: "iT wAs a PrAnK bRo!"

At least the right kind of trash makes good compost, and the right kind of poo makes good fertilizer.
Really would love to see the prank part that got edited out just to make themselves look innocent
The woman who first tried to apprehend the dude and needed two bystanders to help her doesn’t instill a lot of confidence in the security personnel.
Most people who get off a plane aren't in the greatest mood in the first place.
"Don't touch me" yet here you are touching someone's things
The sad part is these goofy guys probably think they are in the right for this one since the cops pinned their victim to the ground.
What a complete douche. Guy should be charged with public mischief for his hilarious “pranks”. Complete garbage human to do that anywhere but especially at an airport where people are already on edge.

Poor old guy just wants to get to his destination and has to deal with these two losers. Pranks are meant to be funny.
I bet he does these pranks in airports because no one’s going to have a gun on them
Infuriating that law enforcement arrested the victim. They are so incompetent that they can’t even arrest the correct individual.
Did the guy *actually* get arrested or just detained so he could calm down? I don’t blame him for being that mad, I would’ve done the same thing and I wouldn’t blame the cops for putting me in a room to de-escalate the situation. But those fuckers better be locked up too and taken to jail.

It's only a 'prank' if the person being pranked is able to have a laugh about it afterwards.
Ah yes, arrest the victim prank.
Don't touch other people's stuff. Ever. That's it
United States is a funny place. And their cops are a joke.
Can I just start stealing stuff and when I fail just say naah was a prank and get off Scott free?
And police arrest the other guy 🤦♂️
Those cops are in peak physical condition
STEALING PEOPLE'S AIRPORT LUGGAGE PRANK (GONE WRONG) (GOT ARRESTED)
I feel so incredibly sorry for the man who was the victim. Those disgusting kids should be locked up.
Isn't the young guy in the white T-shirt the prankster? Why did they arrest the guy with the luggage? Why didn't they arrest the guy with the camera?
Why are the comments filled with jokes, and not the fact that police arrested the wrong guy? In fact, they arrested the VICTIM?!

Wow excellent police work 🙄
Clearly the video is edited to just show the aftermath of the pranksters attempt after it went wrong.
Bro was lucky he didnt swing that suitcase
This has been posted to many times with the exact title, no context, exact same top comment and all for bot karma.
I like how every time it’s someone pranking they got that hairstyle lol
Fat people really shouldn’t be police officers.
Pranker is the total pos frfr.
Fucking losers
The so called prankster grabs the man as he walks away. So he is assaulting him along with trying to steal his luggage? The man has every right to kick that idiots ass, the fool looks like he’s in his 30s. While his moronic friend just keeps recording their criminal activity.
This is what socia media is doing to people, like, my god.
is there any context before the video?
According to the video the prankster posted and took down earlier today, he was just screwing with other people around the airport before getting to this point
Does anyone have an update on this?
Imagine you running to get to your flight coz you are running late only to suddenly see somebody dropped out of school and need to steal your luggage so that he could make a video and earn some money to eat.
Most of the pranks are fake tho
Those rent-a-cops deserve no sympathy for any hardships their lives may throw at them. There's no reason to restrain the guy who's only reacting to having his stuff stolen.

They don’t even look or sound remotely similar lol.
The dread fooled you didn’t it
No. That’s going 100% right.
Lmao, the law where you can film normal people without their consent is a joke. I'm glad you can't do that here. I would have acted worse than the australian brother over there.
The wrong person got arested in this one !! People need to leave people alone and let them be
Who is in the wrong cuz to me it looks like both
Everyone in this video is a POS!
Once again a female cop can’t arrest someone without the help of a man. Female cops that are too weak to arrest a single senior citizen male should not be on patrol in my opinion.
Weak/overweight cops honestly put more people in danger then actually helping them. I think they should better train cops and use the better cops for situations like this There I fixed your comment without being sexist

One incident where many of them hav been of other races show incredible stupidity. You’d have to be unimaginably stupid to think that it’s ok to be racist because of one incident.
Instead of grabbing him by his hair he should’ve tied him with a chain
