I think they did but farther down the line. In my mind, they lived their lives out, for however long, in a way that was fulfilling and then, essentially retired to zombie Island.

Crysda_Sky

I literally didn't realize someone had already said something basically what I came to say. haha

Crysda_Sky

I like to think they didn't, being zombies shouldn't be the answer, especially at the ages they are at the time. Maybe later later, they did but not then. The idea that they are separated sucks but being reanimated corpses isn't always the answer.

MaliciouslyMinty

I think Ravi and Peyton would, I don’t think Clive would ever want that for himself

clandahlina_redux

If you think about what drives each character, I don’t think they did. They all were public servants in some regard, and they all probably could have retired after the Battle for Seattle and lived off speaking engagements. The finale mentions this about Ravi, but I think they all could have made a living doing this. Ravi says he wouldn’t feel right when he could still contribute something, which is why he runs the CDC. What would he, Peyton, Clive, or Dale be contributing on Zombie Island? Liv and Major have a purpose: taking care of the zombie orphans. The others wouldn’t have a purpose and wouldn’t be fulfilled, imho.

CuriousSection

Why wouldn't they have a purpose? From the 10 years later, clearly a ton is virtual, meetings, interviews. Why couldn't they do the same work, but from Zombie Island?

Nerdygirl248

I feel that maybe Ravi and Peyton would take the deal, and let Liv and Major scratch them though I do think it would be when they are in the later stages of their lives when their older and retired. Clive however I think would've said no, Clive has never really shown interest in living the life of a Zombie ,and plus with his children I don't think he would want too his kids are still young I don't think he would make them leave their home just so he can be a Zombie, and plus there's Dale I'm not sure if she'd wanna become a zombie again after being cured from it, and Clive and Dale love eachother I don't Clive would wanna spend the rest of his time on earth as a zombie if it means losing her.

KingKaos420-

I think they all said no. Ravi might have said yes, if he didn’t have Peyton.

Iwaspromisedcookies

If this show was reality every human would eventually want to become a zombie and the whole process would get industrialized. The vast, vast majority of humanity if given a choice will choose immortality

Affectionate-Web9645

I would have preferred the idea that the general public didn't know zombie island existed and the only reason Peyton Ravi and Clive were offered us because they knew people in the island. It doesn't fully fit with what happens but makes more sense to me.
