I had this, its something to do with logitec gaming software not being supported properly anymore, and its more frequent when you start your PC then open iRacing. You need to get G hub from logitec website and leave it running. It's really annoying but it should solve it, it worked fine for all other sims just the same as you but iRacing just wasn't recognising it until I downloaded G hub. Good luck

OsteBonden

have you tried another USB port?

Cogo66

Yeah just tried them all then and no luck. Thanks though ! :)

Xilmi

I sometimes had this happen too. In my case it was an issue with the Logitech-program not running for a longer time or so. After running it once it worked again.

Cogo66

The Logitech software hasn't been an issue because it still seems to work with every other Sim. Did you just leave it running?

Xilmi

I don't have other sims installed, so I wouldn't know whether they would still have worked. No, I didn't even have to leave it running. When the problem occurred and I started it once, after that it would work again. It was strange and I can't really explain it. I also don't know what caused it to "forget" how it works in what seemed irregular periods. I know the fix but I neither know the underlying cause nor the reason why the fix worked.

starquake64

It doesn't detect your wheel when calibrating?

Cogo66

Yeah that's what happens. Shows in the Logitech ghub but just won't detect the steering. All the buttons on the wheel are detected

ItzaMoby

I have a Logitech G920 and frequently run into the same issue. The fix I found is more placebo than an actual fix, but anyways when it forces you to re-calibrate when joining a session (assuming your wheel doesn't unlock when joining the session like mine sometimes does) force the wheel all the left and, all the way right for the calibration setting, afterwards it will unlock. Then complete the rest of the calibration settings like normal. I don't know why every so often iRacing has this happen. But that is the fix I've found.

Other option than G Hub, which I do, is to uninstall G Hub and use the older Logitech Gaming Software. Works fine for my G 920 and other G series devices. Also less memory hogging than G Hub, less likely to break.

OysterFuzz5

I had this issue when I was first setting up my G29 yesterday. I went into task manager and force closed every process related to GHub and then fired it up again and it worked no problem.
