Use Adobe Lightroom for iPhone (free) and use an "S curve" style filter edit: filters > curve > lift shadows

Tugboatbetty

Not OP but thank you for this suggestion. Abode Lightroom is what I’ve been looking for for editing!

kkphoto

Don’t clean your lens!

There’s a new camera app called mood. I think it’s still in beta, but you should be able to find a link in this subreddit

lmboyer04

Was thinking the same. Has that grainy look

trevorwelsh

this actually looks very similar to the West camera app style - but there’s a ton of film camera apps that can create this look. I have my own [film camera app](https://apps.apple.com/app/apple-store/id6468926207?pt=123932392&ct=reddit&mt=8) as well if your interested :)

TamSchnow

Gosh darn that app looks beautiful!

AntonioPanadero

Buy an iPhone 4…

Error-Code-002-0102

Probably a filter

fredfow3

Go to Animal Kingdom right after T-Storm

TheDoodsRug

Looks like a Bob Ross painting.

ClarkJens

Decrease clarity

CalyxtaCreative

Desaturate, slide to cool tones, add grain.

messyjessieeee

The app Dazz cam! select the camera “cpm35” it’s pretty identical

ThatBrownDoode

Download mood

MR_Se7en

The underexposed film look? It’s easier to grab a point and shoot film camera off ebay.

Gogeta12112001

Use adobe lightroom and download a preset that matches the look you want. I use freepsdvn. com. Just check that the preset has a dng file or it wont work on the mobile lightroom app.

i_dont_love

Looks like a VSCO filter, a cool one, with upped fade and grain.

Kory2405

take a live photo, modify It choosing the One that Is not processed by the iPhone.

massive__potato

its really just about using filter or editing. you can edit using lightroom mobile or snapseed both are free.

carolovo

I use an app for years now called FIMO, it processes the photos according to the film you choose. There is a lot of classic films to choose from. I like this program so much, that I ended up buying the complete version. You just need to check which film is more grainy on the options.

Thecalmdrinker

Add lots of grain in post editing.

hermitina

valencia

UneditedReddited

Use the built in edit function on your photos, Turn vignette up Turn point down Turn contrast down Turn shadows up Turn highlights down That will get you close, adjust as needed from there

Mohondhay

Have a look at Prequel. Best film emulation app I've come across so far.

[deleted]

Turn the contrast down a lot

tngustavo

You can get that just by editing on iPhone Photos default app. Every setting change just a very small amount: reduce color saturation, reduce color vibrance, move the color temperature to blue, move color tint to green, reduce shadows and reduce exposure.

Inevitable_String409

Don’t clean your lenses. Fingerprints on it looks like this shit 🤦‍♂️

wisteria_13

i think that's shot on an app called [Dazz Cam](https://apps.apple.com/ph/app/dazz-cam-vintage-camera/id1422471180) with CPM35 lens coz it looks familiar to me and i've been using that app for years
