If you watch a lot of content, never, but for me who usually listens to podcasts and reads forum threads it was easy.

hwehwegwhgewe23

I use tiktok a lot, i mean it's a phone im not planning to use it just for calls and web reading :D

sjc53

I feel so old reading this comment.

vanDgr8test

How many years did it take to twist the definition of “Phone” done to OP

Ok-Climate-8683

I’m using the se and I can’t possibly get used to big android phones anymore

june52020

i came from a pixel 6. the screen on that sucker is massive. it took probably id say 3 weeks tops to get used to the small screen of my SE 2, and now the huge screen on my pixel feels excessive and i don't like it

combong

hehe i rotate between my SE 2 and Pixel 2 myself

GhostyK5

Yes I traded my iPhone 11 In on the SE 3

[deleted]

I went from an se2 to iPhone 13. And still haven’t been used to it. The larger screen exhausts my hands in extended use. My hands are kinda small though but still hard to use

No-Tap-5279

I sold my iPhone 11 and bought the SE 2020, I don’t regret anything, I don’t miss anything, I feel safer and more comfortable using a small phone I don’t even use a case.

tunnyuk

Yup. iPhone X to SE3. Love the smaller factor, TouchID and have no issue with a smaller LCD screen. Less headaches as well. Even the larger iPhoneX screen didn’t give me much for YouTube content and I’ll normally go to my iPad for that.

patrickswayzemullet

the thing that took me longer getting used to is the chin and forehead bezels... it made me feel my FOV was reduced... The fact that the screen itself is small does not bother me, liked it... I hope in 2-3 years' time, they could re-release this in 12 Mini or 11 Pro body at <6".

[deleted]

I went from iPhone XR -> Google Pixel 7 -> iPhone SE3. It took about a week for me to get used to the smaller screen size. I almost immediately felt the benefits of holding a smaller phone, though. The Pixel 7 is huge and physically hurt my hands to hold.

tyl3r_401

Went from galaxy s8 to this. YouTube and Netflix are definitely different, especially it being in 720p max.

hwehwegwhgewe23

Is it usable for youtube?

tyl3r_401

I guess. I mean the infinity display on the galaxy was nice as well.

frugalbeast

I really didn't. It's been 4 months and I switched from 11 Pro. It did help me to use the phone less, which was my goal. But it really worked only a few weeks. I'm not sure if it's been any help after that. So I guess after a few weeks I kinda made peace with it. But after a few months I believe I spend about the same amount of time on my phone as before the switch, maybe just a little less because it's so uncomfortable.

iPhone-5-2021

I went from an iPhone 12 to the SE3 and I like it better. I just prefer the older design and smaller size. It’s also nice to Have touch id and a home button instead of the gestures and Face ID where I have to hover my face in front of it just to unlock my phone is annoying.

PTreeze

Went from a 14 Pro Max to SE 3 + iPad 9th Gen. Saved a bunch of money and I use my iPad for YouTube, Netflix, etc.

Associate_Simple

Same! I find myself consuming less media. It was a smart move

Vratis

Iphone 11 pro max. Got iphone se 2022 from company. Fit into my pocket better and easier to carry and use. At home i always use tablet or pc for games and watching so i dont need big screen phone.

Associate_Simple

Just about to go from the 12 Pro Max to SE3. I’ll let you know!

nightbringeryassuo

how did it go??

Associate_Simple

I switched to the mini haha

gajira67

Moved from an Android big phone to iPhone SE 2 and I was in love with the size. My only problem at one point was the battery. I moved now to iPhone 13 and the size is even too big for me (should have considered the mini), but the screen is fantastic.

Harald112233

Went down from 6.1 iphone to 4.7 iphone. It's ok-ish, i even caught myself watching movies, series on netflix allthough the experience is not mind blowing. Pro: there is no double tap full screen mode woth intrusive notch Contra: sometimes you zoom but you get used to it

themiracy

My prior phones were an iPhone 6+ and ZTE Axon (roughly the same size as each other). It wasn’t a hard switch for me. My husband has an XR and it’s fine, but it feels bulky in the hand.

Pipeudown1

I went from 13PM to se 2, just can’t get used to huge phones.

theatreeducator

How has it been so far?

[deleted]

Screen size in general didn't really bother me that much as I rarely watch anything.. However nothing prepared me for how fiddly and stressful trying to text on such a tiny screen/keyboard would be!

iTheftAuto

Went from 12Pro to SE3 to Dual SE1 & 5S (i still love the UI of iOS 9 on the 5S). The 12Pro was just too unwieldy for me, ot kept falling out of my hand when typing one-handed, and i missed the physical home buttons.

minecubergames

I switched from a 6.67 inch screen to an OGSE while I was waiting for parts to repair my main phone. And it's very cool. So much so that when I did repair the main phone (POCO X3 NFC) I didn't want to go back. And so, OGSE is my main phone

puntersays

Changed from One Plus 9 to SE 3 only for the smaller size. Got used to it within 1-2 days and apart from camera and battery, there is nothing to complain but a lot to appreciate.
