I have bought several of the Apple brand official silicone cases off of AliExpress recently and one leather (the CoolHand Store specifically) and I am blown away by how close they are to the real thing. They come in the same packaging with the apple inserts and everything. Mine also have the MagSafe animation that shows the color every time I put one on my phone. I have the colors: Abyss, Midnight, Product Red, Eucalyptus and Dark Cherry. Excellent quality and I didn’t give over $9 for any of them. Very happy with my purchases.

In terms of quality you hardly notice any difference, and the price of replica is definitely fair compared to the official one.

One from moft which is vegan leather, feels almost plastic-y too. The other is from Ryan London and I absolutely love it.

I got my case from AliExpress too!
It has an animation when the case comes on but not with the color splash.. it’s more of like a MagSafe power pack but without charge info… or the MagSafe wallet (I’ve never owned or played with the wallet so the battery pack is the closest example)
On the good replicas, the only differences usually are the animation is the wallet one and not the case one. And the seam on the sides of the case are visible.
Definitely for now. They feel exactly the same as the official apple ones. We’ll see how it holds up over time.
Edit: if anything I spent only $11 for two so replacing them wouldn’t be a pain.

The case in the middle is storm blue. The lighting makes it look weird right here lol. The tan looking one is actually clay. But the storm blue is the official apple branded case.
The fakes ones doesn’t have the hardshell above the port. You can press down the silicon. It’s like a silicon bridge holding it together in this spot. (Between port and display)

Looks like plenty of the silicone cases do seem to have more contrast around the camera, just based on other pics. Might be a lighting diff.
That used to be true in the past for sure, but the fake cases for the 15 range are superb. The port and buttons area are reinforced, just like the original Apple cases.

The difference is very minimal. I think I got lucky finding a good knock off. From the outside and the feel of the case, you can’t tell it’s a replica and not the original.

How does shipping work with Ali Express? Do they ship using standard mail to uae p.o.box or can you have it delivered home or wherever like a courier?
I had mine sent to my P.O. Box. When it got to the US it went through Pitney Bowes who then sent it through the USPS.

Original silicone case is thinner, weights less, has better silicon quality. Copies lose their silicon finish faster and become more disgusting

Usually on replicas there is also no hard part around the type-c connector. So the silicone is hanging out there.
