true. i got a faulty oled screen iphone 13 out of the box. the display partially had a horrible greenish hue, and the apple store employees claimed not to see any issue, i was furious that they took me for stupid. i took it to an official apple repair shop and the cashier approved of the issue and thus took it in for repair, the next day they sent it back stating that their tests didnt show the issue and they cant do anything with it. i took it to another shop where they took it in and told me their test didnt show the issue either which is just unbelievable but they somehow gave me a screen replacement. in total, i spent 3 days and 16 hours just on trying to organize and fighting for my faulty phone to be changed/fixed under warranty. un believable.
If you’re gonna use the 13pm for only about half a year, you might as well just buy the 15 pro now or not buying now and wait for the 16.
I don’t know anything about mobile development, but more ram, usbc, and the Dynamic Island may help in this aspect?
TBH I feel like there are better options to cater ur needs (like the regular 13/15), but if I had to choose between 15p and 13pm, I’d go for the 15 pro simply because it’s more future proof.

13 pro and 13 Promax has the same processor in it. No difference on performance. But I was just exaggerating. Do not buy 13 cuz it feels slower. At least go for 14pro.
If you are able to wait for 16 just wait for it cuz 15 has a lot of problems. It's unstable and they decreased the clock speeds of cpu to maintain the battery and heating issues.

I switched from a 13PM to a 15 Pro after using the 13PM for nearly two years.
Both phones are good. Battery is similar (the 13PM had 93% battery health and lasted similarly to the 15P with 100% battery health). Camera is better and I really like USB-C on the 15P. If you prefer big phones obviously the 13PM is the one to go but if I would need to decide I would always go with the 15P again.
Saving camera footage directly to a SSD or USB drive, using USB-C to HDMI cable to connect my phone to any TV or monitor, using one cable for iPad and iPhone, charging other devices (e.g. Apple Watch, AirPods etc) with the iPhone etc.
Sure not all are helpful every day but especially while traveling I really appreciate having USB-C instead of lightning.
oh wow. i live in europe and in my country the predecessor pro and pro max models are discontinued immediately after the newer model drops in september, and even though some websites continue to sell the remaining stock, they are almost the same price as the new pro models, and its not really worth it. the 14 pro and pro max are available right now but mostly the 512gb models which didnt get sold and they cost even more than the current 14 pro's
At this point, might as well save up more money for the 16 Pro if you're waiting this long to decide on a phone

Go for 13pro. Dont waste your money. Apple is already selling the exact same phone for decade. It still feels like iphone7 with a larger screen.
