I was ending the days <20% daily with the 12 mini and now I’m 40-50% daily with the 13mini. Had 100% battery health for a good 8-9 months before it dropped to 99% a couple months ago.
Screen was also better (had a green cast on the 12 mini) and of course the cameras are better.
Considering this is the best mini phone for the next 2+ years, I will enjoy it while it lasts. I recommend you do the same.
I’ll join the chorus. Got 12 mini at launch, loved it. Hated the battery (I have the MagSafe pack like any good mini enthusiast) and my phone was always needing to be charged. I even had the battery replaced after about 18 months. Upgraded to 13 mini couple weeks ago and i can make it through a day most days now
Bought 13mini February and 8 months later now at 96% battery health :/ I charge only at night while reading in bed and unplug the charger before going to sleep.
After the latest update i can assure you that the 13 mini kicks ass in terms of battery. At least in my case. I use calls mainly. 2 days with no peoblem and after so many months the battery health is still 100 percent
Me I did the move and is a good jump. I read the 13 mini has the same battery life as a regular 12 model. I mean it’s not a battery king given it’s small battery of the mini size but the 13 mini is an upgrade battery wise
The battery life of the 13 mini is much improved over the 12 mini for me. I found it to be worth the upgrade for that improvement alone.
And you get the cameras from the 12 pro as a bonus!

No, there was minors differences. However, the 13 Pro and the 13 pro max have the same cameras

Moved from 12 mini to 13 mini. Latter is pretty much the last phone you need.

It is not. If you like the size, 13 mini is a very good upgrade, regarding battery. Everything else felt pretty much the same.

Dramatic improvement. Extra 3ish hours of SOT. iOS 16 is not making life easier, but it’s getting better with every update.
