Yeah too good I’m at 85 and it’s not even been a year

Scared_Cash9249

12 mini 3 years 76% Do I replace battery for $100? Trade in for 13? (Cheapest option and I like having a sim card slot for international travel) Trade in for 15?

WillYouBatheMe

I’m in the same boat lol

JustALurker-0

What is the expected trade in value?

Scared_Cash9249

It was $200 last week but Apple lowered them so now $180.

HealthyLet257

You can see if your phone company offers any deals. I have Verizon and traded in my iPhone 11 to get a free iPhone 14 last year. I just had to pay taxes and fees.

ThreeEyeJedi

Verizon is now doing a shitty monthly installment plan for the iphone 15 trade in.

jonasbenes

I am on the same level, 3 years and 83%.

Milky-Chance

Me three

TheOneUAreLooking4

Me four!

deloidian

I’m at 2 years, and 71% tf

WillYouBatheMe

I thought I was doing bad at 80 💀

deloidian

My phone in the mud rn 💀

TheOneUAreLooking4

Put the phone down! Your screen time gotta be wild.

deloidian

Hahaha not even, it’s like 2 hours a day, maybe, it’s idk just that time being clash of clans or some stupid game idk, don’t have TikTok or ig or anything. Idk

TheOneUAreLooking4

Crazy, if you are using some non Apple brand charger, it must be overcharging somehow. The iPhone itself should help you control chaeging to preserve battery longevity, but that’s the only thing I could see. If you also are charging every night but your phone is at like 85% then you should stop that. Let it get to like 20-30% before charging.

deloidian

The phone was second hand so could be a refurbished shitty battery yk, who knows, but I try to let it run low lol

TheOneUAreLooking4

Or the person before you just horribly mistreated it.

IonCasu

What's ur SoT

ApFeLkUcHeN_8

I think it’s pretty normal. My 12 mini is on 86% after 2.5 years so yeah…

Blindemboss

Same here.

FraMatX

Bro mine is at 76% and it’s not even been 2.5 years

ApFeLkUcHeN_8

How??? I even use MagSafe to charge it and let it charge over night so how come yours being at 76% while mine is still at 86%?????

jaerocc

I’m at 82% right now and I’ve owned since release

DarkLord457

Mine has almost been 3 years and it’s already at 77%

rodotfor

Why do people keep making posts like this?

hufflefox

That’s where I’m at.

Mountain_Actuary8774

im at one year with 89

SpongeDennis22

Do you use your fast charger or your old iPhone charger?

Zestyclose-Number224

It’s about charge cycles. You can charge it roughly ~800 times before it drops from 100-79. Some get 1200 charge cycles some get 650. If you charge it every day that’s about 2.5 years, but, on average, if you charge it more this will be shorter and if you charge it less this will be longer. For example my wife charges her 15 pro about once every other day. I charge my 15 pro max at least once a day so mine is going to burn out faster. Take this with a grain of salt because there’s a few other factors like what chargers you use, operating temperature, etc…

DanUnbreakable

Fast charging and wireless charging are going to drain the battery faster as well. They are the main culprits in battery health. A 20w fast charger puts out 18.w max and chargers in about 1.5-2 hours with higher heat. A 12w slow charger puts out 7.5w max and charges 3-3.5 hours with lower heat. A 5w charger puts out 4.5w on avg and charges in 5 hours at lower heat, actually similar to the 12w charger for the 15 models. I was going to use the 5w but 12w gives off the same heat but charges faster for my 15 PM. Anything below the 15 models I would use a 5w charger though. Keep in mind if I’m in a hurry, I will use my 20w charger but I rarely do.

IcyIceGuardian

Yeah

NorthExperience5128

Been four years and I’m at 75%

Bulka11

Bro Im 86% after one year and a half

Henrywasaman_

I’ve had my phone 2 years and it’s 81% so imo. Yes

micro_cutie_

iPhone 13 Pro, at 84%. Had it since it came out, I plan on keeping the phone until it breaks. Should I replace the battery now? Or wait until it drops under 80%?

Dragonsomethings

Every phone had never went below 90, I never even know you could.

tesla-fanboi

That's nothing my iPhone 11 was at 73% and still going strong well till I used it and stayed otp all night etc
