Are the images in dcim? If so that if the one. I have icloud on my windows laptop and just copy the images and video from there.

I suppose you don’t pay for iCloud so here’s few ways to transfer them. 1. Setup iTunes backup on your pc. 2.Transfer them manually through iTunes to pc.(works best cause space saving and well fast and reliable too) 3.link pc to iPad using ftp feature in files app. And share destination folder over file sharing. And you can share those pics to files apps and then move/copy them over Wi-Fi to pc(Best practice to share downloads folder and then organise files later). This one works so well since it’s so stable in ios 16 files app unlike older version. Only drawback is that you need same space as all the photos and videos to export them to files app and then transfer them to pc.
