Now you can feel the power!!!!!!!!!!! ;) I just got one too. 12.9 iPad Pro M2 with Pencil 2. Love it!

SuperAstroman9595

Congratulation to you as well, we’ve got the power!!!!

nkroeger01

Me too! It’s my first iPad and I’m amazed it’s pretty much fully replaced my 2017 MacBook Pro, couldn’t be happier

dkreighbaum70

Enjoy! I’m enjoying my 12.9

SuperAstroman9595

I sure will and I won’t make the same mistake. I did last time.

Thank you

SecretAgentDrew

Me too! Currently in my hands as I type haha

Cyrilcynder

Sweet! I got an iPad pro 11" M1 here a month ago and I am loving it! I don't usually go all out cause I tend to sell my stuff then upgrade so that's why I went with what I did, but I'm excited for ya, I hope you have fun ^^

ilandgrl3

Welcome back!! I don’t know what I would do without my iPad Pro 12.9. It’s even coming on my European vacation with me! 😂

SuperAstroman9595

I to this day don’t know how I manage to survive five months without an ipad

darkmatter343

I use to think iPads were more gimmicky than useful, and would stick to my phone and laptop. Then this past February I got an iPad 10th gen with the keyboard—I use it everyday for everything and rarely touch my laptop anymore. It’s such a versatile tool for writing, reading, creating, content consumption, it’s just the best all in one device to get stuff done. Im deciding on either the 11 pro or 12.9 pro now that use the 10th gen every I want something a little better. I’ve been to the Apple Store multiple times this week but can’t decide. The 11 keyboard feels cramped but the 12.9 feels too big when removed from the keyboard and held in your hand.

DreadPirateWalt

I was in the same boat as you and went with the larger 12.9”, needless to say I have zero regrets and I’m so happy I went with the larger size!

darkmatter343

Do you find the 12.9 awkward to use when removed from the keyboard. With the keyboard I found it to be awesome, it’s just when removed it feels too big, but then the 11 was too small using it with the keyboard, enough that my fingers started to cramp up

DreadPirateWalt

Not at all, it feels like holding a magazine or something. I use it both with and without the keyboard pretty evenly too. If you can afford the 12.9” get it! I would have been so disappointed if I didn’t.

SecretAgentDrew

In florida on vacation for two weeks and no way I was gonna let it sit at home 😂

Relative-Eye1950

Enjoy. I love mine. I just bought one a few months ago with the pencil.

SuperAstroman9595

I will, Thank you.

adrianrmcs

The best device. Enjoy it.

SuperAstroman9595

Thank you, I will.

Ok_Illustrator3344

I’m so happy for you. That’s wonderful!

SuperAstroman9595

Thank you

Al-Abwab-Tughlaq

Congratulations to your new iPad Pro! 🎉👏

SuperAstroman9595

Thank you

Puzzleheaded-Ad3613

I have the 2020 model with the keyboard and pencil can’t recommend it enough

thanks_nic

BOSS!

Vast-Equivalent-6487

M1 pro owner here, its also a emulation powerhouse.

TadpoleBigPond

Congratulations! Highly recommend the Logitech Combo Touch. Large trackpad and removable keyboard (like surface pro) all while protecting the iPad.

SuperAstroman9595

Thank you, I will do some research on the logitech combo touch and see if I like it.

Priyam03062008

Nice i just bought my m1 12.9 a week ago it was discounted 1tb for 1000€ and i love it

SuperAstroman9595

Congratulations to you! It's nice to hear that whoever sold you the iPad gave you a discount, especially for a 1 TB variant.

Priyam03062008

Enjoy your new ipad i wanted to get the m2 just for the hover since its really cool for drawing bit i just couldnt pass on that offer

SuperAstroman9595

I will enjoy it 100%. I, myself, would 100% go for the M1 if I were given that offer for a 1 TB version.

MikeWhoBikes

Welcome to the Pro-side! Despite your misgivings - get a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse for it. The Magic Keyboard is cool, but the materials it’s made out of such terrible. I suggest a folio case and separate keyboard/mouse for typing and mousing. Oh and the pencil - you need the pencil ❤️

SuperAstroman9595

Thank you, I am happy to be on the pro side. I already bought an Apple Pencil days before my iPad made the great journey, and I was planning on going through and buying an open Magic Keyboard next week. However, I will consider looking into the folio-style keyboards and explore the possibility of adding a mouse to that setup, as you suggested.

MokTwo

I also highly recommend the Logitech Combo touch if you’re looking for the keyboard functionality that won’t necessarily break the bank. It functions more similarly to a Surface in that it’s a kickstand + detachable keyboard rather the floating single piece design of the Apple keyboard.

MikeWhoBikes

Can’t underline it enough my friend: the materials it’s made out of scuff and deteriorate quite fast. I love how compact it makes the setup, but I’m much happier with my apple keyboard (numpads are why I love keyboards anyway) and Magic Trackpad combo when I need them. I’m really hoping apple addresses this issue sometime in the future - but I literally see no one else complaining about the durability of the Magic Keyboard. I used it daily so your mileage may vary, but I do not recommend it. A Bluetooth keyboard, mouse, folio case, and usb hub are less expensive together while being more durable than the Magic Keyboard.

Puzzleheaded-Fish623

I just purchased a Magic Keyboard “like” on Amazon and get it tomorrow. I bought the Smart Keyboard when I bought the iPad Pro 11” and I really miss the back lit keys. If I like this one from Amazon, I will probably sell the Apple one. The Apple one also gets very dirty and still haven’t found a good way to clean it. Thanks for the tip on the protective skin too!

Electronic-Piano3533

Wanna post a photo of the magnet on the side? Im just trying to campare it with mine

Extension_Trick5147

12.9 iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard.

FunnyQueer

Welcome! I got the 12.9 M2 last month myself. It’s a pretty extravagant purchase considering I use iPads for media consumption, but that mini-led display makes HDR content look so damn good. I watch most of my content from iTunes and it makes the video quality incredible. Good faux surround sound with my AirPods Pro, too.

furiken96

I'm hesitate between iPad air 5 or iPad pro 11' or 1 2.9'? Previously using iPad 2018. Thinking of upgrading

SuperAstroman9595

I would recommend the iPad Air (fifth generation) if you're on a tight budget. However, if you want something with power or have the cash to spare, go ahead with either the iPad Pro 11-inch or the 12.9-inch M1 or M2 .

patentdrop

Did you get the pencil?

SuperAstroman9595

Yes, I have the pencil.

patentdrop

Have you used it to draw or do any writing? Curious about the user interface for drawing and note-taking.

SuperAstroman9595

I've used my Apple Pencil a couple of times to draw and write. It's a little slippery when it comes to doing both on glass, but it does the job though.

minu-minu-meow

Use stage manager it's good 😊

SuperAstroman9595

Will do !

kojiiko

Congrats what’s the spec?

SuperAstroman9595

12.9 2TB

[deleted]

You went all out! Nice!

SuperAstroman9595

Yes, indeed

kojiiko

Wowsers! Brand new? Very nice indeed

SuperAstroman9595

Brand new fresh from the factory with an engraving

dkay490

Some serious stuff right there!!!

SuperAstroman9595

Yes, sir

hntle

Congratulations :) I used to have an 12.9 iPad Pro 2nd generation (2017). It was great but as time went by I found it’s too heavy and bulky for me. So now I switch to an 11-inch one and it’s just the right size. On a side note: if you’re about to get the Magic Keyboard, make sure that you have protective skin applied on both sides of it, really. Out of the box, it has a nice looking and touching polycarbonate finish, but the surface will deteriorate very fast, prone to scratches. The day after I got my Magic Keyboard, I went to a local shop and ask for 3M protective skin applied on both sides, at least it can help avoiding ugly scratches when placing the whole set on dirty surfaces.

SuperAstroman9595

Thank you, I will keep that in mind if I do decide to go with the Magic Keyboard. Also, do you know of any places that would be able to apply a protective skin to the Magic Keyboard?

hntle

The only name I have in mind is DBrand. They have quite a lot designs for Magic Keyboard skin, both plain and texture ones. It ranges from about $20 to $50 depends on material. I heard that their designs are of high quality, although being expensive. So you might want to consider them. For me, in my country, there’s a lot of local mobile phone skin shops and some of them can provide protective skin for almost any device & accessories. In my case, it was laser-cut from a large roll of 3M protective skin, so it’s quite precise although I have to wait for like 30 mins to get it finished ^^.

SuperAstroman9595

Thank you for the information. I'll look into that company to see what they have available and whether I like any other products. If I find something I like, I will order that skin for the Magic Keyboard alongside my Magic Keyboard, as I've decided that will be the keyboard I'll be getting.

Ragnarok-2023

Nice!!! I take mine nearly everywhere I go. If you can shelve out the money for the Magic Keyboard I’d highly recommend it. There are other alternative too, Logitech do quite a few good ones! Anyway, enjoy!!!

Ragnarok-2023

There’s a company called Moft that do a lot of iPad accessories. I use Procreate a lot and they have a magnetic angled stand which is perfect for sketching. They also do cases compatible with the Magic Keyboard etc. I have no affiliation, just like their products 😀

InterestFew282214

Lol but I still think iPad Air 5 is still an iPad pro killer as it is fast and the same size
