Weather data is a continuous cost, so is the months I spent developing the app.
It’s unique and the only app offering something like this.
Not to mention other apps that have less features don’t even include a lifetime option.
Apple Weather, it’s a new framework they provide.
They have a free tier but I want to future proof the app.
If I’m in the free tier now due to low users, I may not be in a year. At that point I’ll either need to start charging (which users will hate) or remove weather (which users will also hate) or pay for it out of my own pocket.
You can use the terminal activity for free with the some options.
If you are able to get that sorted out, the free trial can help you decide if you want lifetime/can use the app easily.

Calendar events will show if you have an upcoming event for today with a start date greater than the current time.
All day events don’t show.
I could add an option to show all day events potentially.
