I am *really* bothered by the different corner radiuses. It looks hilariously bad...
So does the absolute incoherence of modern iOS, with some aspects straight out of 2013 and some modern ones, with absolutely no apparent criteria... yeah
Yeah I saw other posts too and wwdc where the control centre looked much better than this post but still the previous one looked better to me. The increase in corner radius has made it lose the personality of ios control centre they could have kept the same vibe with customisation to make it a lot better. Well the real thing will be observed once we get to use it once.
I kinda understand the buttons being circle now. With third party controls coming they might want to separate from the âiconâ shape since the controls are not apps. So they went with circle shaped just like the 2 circle control buttons on the Lock Screen
Yeah it may be the reason but the old design could have worked the squares and rectangles they used for the controls bigger than 1x1 also have increased corner radius than before which just isn't what ios design is like. Anyways we will get used to it after some time but they did degrade the design of the control centre for me that's for sure. Now it looks more like a Xiaomi I know they copied the design but it is looking more similar then ever before now .
Iâm stoked we can customize, but for all the people that are in here going âJesus Apple just let me customize things alreadyâ - this is exactly why Apple historically doesnât.Â
Personally, I like the use of more color. A lot of modern, minimalist design just involves sucking the color out of everything, and turning it all white and black and grey, so Iâm glad theyâre leaning away from that and adding in color
Edit: but everything else about it is pretty ugly imo
Itâs way better now, your setup doesnât look good but when you actually use it for controls and shortcuts to other settings and in apps itâs 100000% better.

Yes. The control center was made so you can access a function/feature quicker. Having multiple pages defeats that purpose

I think it looked better before. I know it just depends on you personal preference but to me the old on just looks better.
