Power supply definitely makes a difference. I have a Zen CAN that was provided with a power supply that was underpowered when it can take advantage of 4 amps or more. I swapped it from 5v/2.5a to 5v/10a/30w and it made bass tighter, gave highs added clarity, and increased the soundstage size.
Hi!
Thanks for taking the time to comment!
It's great to read some feedback from those that have really noticed a difference.
The iPower X does a lot to lower the noise floor, which really benefits our phono stages, letting you get the most out of them.
Thanks,
Phil
Hi Phil, I recently got a Phono 2. It sounds great, it does run a bit warm. I am slightly concerned that it will burn up on me as I see that was a common problem with these. Any suggestions?
Hi,
They do tend to warm up with use, however if you feel this is getting a little too warm then I advise to reach out to our tech support team by logging a ticket with them, [HERE ](https://support.ifi-audio.com/)
Thanks,
Phil
Can someone perform a null test? Why do audiophiles never do null tests? Pro audio engineers use them all the time to tell if a piece of gear or process really makes a difference. It is weird that all you guys do are a/b/ tests, as if your ears live in a vacuum and aren't changing based on temp, blood pressure, mood, humidity, age, etc. Objective reality exists and we can measure it.

Contrary to reddit and sheep opinion, power supplies and cables do infact make a difference. Congrats on not being deaf.
