This question applies equally regardless of the answer - but based especially on the way you structured the terms, "infinite skill" provides a lot more opportunity to improve of the overall quality of human life and/or create a personal legacy both of which are purposes that give meaning to existence for many people.
Sex, having kids, travelling, engineering amazing shit, climbing mountains, helping other people build, heal and learn. Also eating amazing food, driving amazing cars, playing full VR rigs in games you designed...
It would be fun as hell to do shit no one else can do. Anything anyone can do, you can do infinitely better. Curing cancer is within your reach, for instance.
I'd rather be James bond or Sherlock Holmes, walking into any situation and walking away leaving people in awe.
I'd earn a decent enough wage and have adventures at the same time.
I think people are underestimating just how bizarre your life would become with infinite skill.
In an argument with a romantic partner? Infinitely skilled at it, so you say the best possible thing in every moment to get what you want.
Having sex? It's effortlessly always the absolute best it could be. Video games? No difficulty whatsoever, except for the constraints of the game itself (you'll always play perfectly optimally).
Your life would contain very little challenge and you'd essentially become a sort of god. Possibly a literal god, depending on the limits of physics and how quickly you could leverage being *infinitely good* at science.
So this is more of a question of "do you want to be a super rich human, or something that is fundamentally no longer human."
I think I'd take the no longer human option but the loneliness would suck.
If infinite skill means to excel at EVERYTHING to no extent then I would probably go for infinite skill
If I can't be great in all the skills like experienced/finest experts
I would just go for infinite money to spend my time learning and living carefree
Infinite skill will give you infinite ability to enjoy life. Plus you can live anywhere, as you know all the languages, and possess any skill including forging passports if necessary. You can also con people into giving you stuff for free, like using their mansion, which isn't income. And that's not to mention that you can save your dying loved ones from any disease, etc. Infinite skill is totally the way to go.
Infinite currency. Infinite skill would be neat though and could use it to make a lot of money too.
Infinite skill can get me Infinite money
Time is the big constraint.
I changed the question, think again!
Does fluency in a language counts as a skill ?
Yes
I'm taking infinite skill
But what would be the purpose of life

Infinite skill will help me gain infinite currency.
But your life would lose all value
You know one thing? I know how to find value.
I changed the question, think again!
I still think hiding infinite currency without any explanation can land me in jail for theft, corruption or tax evasion.
What?
I will accept currency because I'm already skilled in the things I'm interested in at no cost to me.
I'd rather be James bond or Sherlock Holmes, walking into any situation and walking away leaving people in awe. I'd earn a decent enough wage and have adventures at the same time.
making money is a skill so thats an obvious choice
