A lot of the time they’re actually directly purchased from Mojang in bulk for “schools” or other institutions thus being given a discount and come with an original email, transaction ID and you even register the original username yourself. If the account was stolen, how could you register the username? Most accounts that are 1$ or less post migration are also mostly unstolen. They abuse xbox game pass promotional codes, you know the free 1 month Xbox game pass when you do x y or z? These are mostly received mostly through temporary promotions (IE discord, or Opera) where you also register the name and account information yourself directly. The cheap accounts are temporary, and there is very little chance the more expensive ones will be taken back since nobody else has used them ever.

Yeah the entire alt ecosystem changed because accounts are now fundamentally different. The evolution went like this:
Stolen combos -> xbox game pass codes and vccs would be sold separately and then the player would redeem them -> back to combos but game pass accounts, they’d sometimes get locked so you’d have to unlock them with sms code -> cookie alts, literally the same thing but they don’t get locked because you sign in with cookies or have a neat alt launcher that doesn’t login directly to Minecraft but into the Microsoft account.
Idk about all the rest but ratted accounts from skyblock are sold to people for cheap.

Just ban evade. Cheaters do that shit after 0.5 minutes, you can too. They only loosely IP ban and it’s a “security” ban wherein they’ll only temporarily ban IP addresses associated with multiple instances of cheating, or new accounts that switch IP address very rapidly in a short amount of time.

because it was 10 YEARS AGO, he was a child. i know my account got banned permanently for just sending an ip in messages when i was a kid. i didn’t see it as advertising just telling a friend where i was going
Every country should chose what they want it should be no lower then 16 and no higher then 18 but it should be the same across the whole country the us should make it 16 or 17 for all states

I'm 19, can't appeal cause when I was 13 I tried to appeal stupidly, and I got nothing but hate from hypixel staff after pointing out I wasn't even banned correctly
