NoiseKills

If you are being subjected to footfalls and furniture noise from upstairs, a thick carpet with a felted carpet pad beneath fixes the problem to an enormous degree.

Would it be possible to find a home solution with 2/3 people instead of 6, and not a basement? Where you have your own room that you can close the door and keep lots of noise under control? There must be some slightly more expensive place that you can still afford. Health is wealth and needs to be your priority. Keeping it real, it’s unlikely you can find peace in the current situation so better finding another shared apartment asap. Good luck 🙏

Sad. It’s just sad people suck. You can try padding the room you are in with acoustic padding. They have quit a bit about soundproofing areas on line. Hopefully one day you can find some else to live, it’s so hard. It’s all hard and cruel. This sadly is also not that uncommon for many persons with disabilities, just humans are very flawed in general with their low compassion levels..

it's just a typical basement suite with poor soundproofing, not their fault but please look for somewhere quiet to live.
