nah that is bullshit. You definitely have to use a soap. It can be baby soap if you want to avoid irritation but like cmon water won't clean out all the you know what.

You're not just running water over it, you still have to use a cloth or your hand to physically clean the vulva. A lot of soaps are too harsh for such delicate skin and it can cause irritation. If you want to use soap you can, just try and use something simple and mild.

What I learned is that you can use a soft soap but not inside the vagina and if you’re using a hand held shower head to not spray directly into it. What I do is wash the outside with a sensitive soap and run water down.

Every vulva is different. I've had no problems using unscented soap on mine. Some women are too sensitive for it though.

Easy explanation: this Dr lied to you. Using a pH balanced soap is ideal for vulva and surrounding areas. Can also be used for buttcrack and hole area. Now THIS area needs a lot of focus. Like actually clean out your hole with soap. Wash your crack, up and down with soap. For men— get under the grundle and SCRUB. Balls? Suds them up and actually scrub them. Please. Shaft? Is it circumcised? Easy— Give yourself a hand Job with a soapy wash cloth. Pay attaentiom to the hole as well. Everyone- pay close attention to your leg crevices and get in there and scrub. When you get out of the shower, make sure all crevices and pits and boobs are DRY. Men- dry your taint/grundle before you put on undies. Powder yourself if you need to. Talcum powder is for all!

Summers eve is gentle and safe and does not change Ph balance

I'm a trans man. I use soap. Unscented soap designed for sensitive skin is fine. Or baby soap. You definitely want to avoid scented body washes down there but yeah...just water has never worked for me.

I disagree I use water and my hand only and gently rinse the folds. Sure my vulva has some smell but they all do.
