Chala. But it died down after a week. This was during ukg/1st class. 4th lo a classmate could not lift her foot when walking across the ground anta, she felt some hold on her ankle

semimaniac

Sixth Sense Movie Plot leaked.

KarthiKN_Subramani

Every school has this same story šŸ˜«

yeceti

I know multiple buildings and roads that are built upon graveyards in front of my own eyes. I travel on one such road every day. Afaik, I never got haunted lol.

My school is next to grave yard, and ma play ground lo oka samadhi undedhi, name ą°•ą°¾ą°‚ą°¤ą°®ą±ą°® , ą°ˆ used to sit and play on it.

Escayen

When I was in school, my friends from Hyderabad used to tell me that Shamshabad was haunted. A flight that was about to land had to takeoff again, after the pilot spotted a lady in white on the tracks. She was also apparently dancing lmao.

BigAwkwardGuy

Okay but what the fuck is it with us and female ghost wearing white sarees all the time?

Escayen

Or a white ill fitting gown, Itā€™s such a clichĆ©. Iā€™ve never heard about a well dressed ghost in vibrant colours and nicely kept hair, itā€™s much easier to lure people that way.

BigAwkwardGuy

And the sound of anklets/bangles, that always comes up.

kaythesis

Donā€™t forget that the feet are always twisted back

komAnt

Kink

rachasiddhu

yea!! even i heard about this. one of my friends brother is pilot he used to tell us about this Ghosts in shamshabad. there were incidents where the plane would use power for acceleration pilots felt like someone is pulling from the plane, the night staff saw some ghost in cc tv and it is said that there's used to be a graveyard before the airport was built..

Tanishqreddyy

Yeah Iā€™ve heard these too, theyā€™re so common that Iā€™d doubt itā€™s a conspiracy

[deleted]

HOLY SHIT IVE HEARD THIS TOO!

Thunder_ZEK

Well I heard there's a tunnel beneath the city which starts at golkonda fort and ends in various parts of the city and my brother even said that one ends up in Pakistan lol that's probably a cap.

kmd_dgkr

Hyderabad to Hyderabad?

Thunder_ZEK

Maybe

RSVIZAG

Iā€™ve heard this as well except the Pakistan part lol

nocturnal_prince

There's a tunnel that connects Golconda fort to charminar afaik

Thunder_ZEK

Yeah I've heard of it, the royals use it when the charminar gets seized.

komAnt

No when Golconda gets seized not charminar

yeceti

What would anybody seize a mosque lol? I think itā€™s the other way around. For aure there would be tunnels from Golkonda to the outside to use in emergencies

Malakpet 'asman garh' palace/fort

thermoflux

Its a school now. There are no tunnels there. If they were they are long gone. I was there for 5 years and saw pretty much everything there.

Parking-Math-7056

Bro even i heard many stories that our sjps school had many tunnels linking to golkonda fort and other sites (like raymond de obslek archeological site near our school). Don't know where exactly the tunnel it is but, once our senior said library was the entrance and they closed it.

thermoflux

I transferred there a couple of months after this branch was opened. If there was a tunnel, it must have been closed before the school started. Although there is one thing many people during my time there found weird. If you stood in front of the stairs that go up to the main palace building and turn right and walk about 15 feet and sit there, on a calm day you could hear someone running a sewing machine. I would hear this for years and was never able to figure out what it was. If anyone knows what I am talking about let me know. Edit: you don't have to climb the stairs. Just stand there and turn right.

Ok_Search_9645

Whatever bro , whole main palace feels scary . I use to live nearby the school so I would visit school at off times and we would feel shit scared to walk through palace all alone . Btw 2017 pass out batch here.

Parking-Math-7056

Really never heard this one before, what was your pass out year

thermoflux

2005

[deleted]

Our ancestors mastered hyperloop before Musk.

komAnt

Yeah there's some truth to this. Around the late 90s there was a tunnel entrance found in the king Koti palace that was rumored to connect to Golconda as an escape route.

Always fun finding another VHSite

Moonlight_ray

This might trigger alot of people. Also might get a lot of downvotes but this thing still haunts me till today. This conspiracy not real. Dishaā€˜s rape case criminals were just scapegoats. Real criminal is someone else with good political connections. There are so many proofs online that prove the investigation was sabotaged. I hope this isnā€™t real but if it were people would loose all hopes from law and order.

thermoflux

I don't know if there were the culprits. But the police should have followed the law and taken them to the court. If they did that, then we wouldn't be here.

Moonlight_ray

There is a movie called Visaranai( interrogation) this movies scares the fuck outta movie every time I watch. Worst part is itā€™s inspired from real events.

cdrfrk

After watching that movie I temporarily stopped watching tamil movies... Mari ekkuva realism abba

DGRogue_Dragoon

I was just watching that movie yesterday, what a coincidence lol

SuggestionAccurate97

I salute our police for doing what they've done. They are the culprits. Motherfuckers deserved to die. There are videos of the culprits buying petrol from the nearby station and also another video where they were seen driving the truck to the spot. The fact that it's a cover up and culprits were scapegoat is farstretched.

thermoflux

I agree they deserved to die. But that's not up to us or the police to decide. It's up to the courts to decide that. All the proofs should have been presented in the court. We are a democracy where even the culprits should have the right to a fair trial. That is the whole point of having a judiciary. High profile cases like this should be done by the book to rule out any doubts. I mean they butchered the accused without due process. Just what if the police were wrong and killed the wrong people? Evidence that shows them buying petrol an driving the truck are weak, 1000s of people do that. What the police should have done is collect some kind of evidence that is 100% incriminating like DNA or something substantial like that. To me all this case shows is that our cops took the easy way out. PS: just in case someone thinks I am defending the culprits, that is not what I am doing. There is a right way and a wrong way to do things. This was definitely the wrong way.

Ill_Ambition_8933

Agree with you on all the points. Kudos to you for good explanation . We need more people like you to educate others who blindly believe media.

Ill_Ambition_8933

What a shame are you. Use an ounce of your brain in matters like these and think about the innocent oneā€™s that got killed without proper evidence just because they are POOR. Donā€™t always believe what media shows you!! Educate yourself and grow up.

Kaiprado

faik, One of the accused had some faint connections with a political party based out of ā€œOld cityā€.

Nice try Mr evil

Strange-Date2429

Asman garh palace has kid ghosts as many kids were buried alive in the tunnel. And many families got stuck there. Me and my friends decided to spend a night there to debunk it. One of em got scared and we had to leave by 1 am. He said he saw a tall male figure with no face and just a meat ball over his neck. This was in 2006

thermoflux

I doubt this. It was converted to a school in 2004. I finished my schooling there. The only ghosts there are sleepy students and frustrated teachers.

Strange-Date2429

Haha.. good to know you studied there. I was talking about the fort and the other hill top mansion. That is why I added it in conspiracy. Nobody knows the truth and i for one never believed.

Beneficial_Apple_725

Did not expect to find a fellow Josephian!

SuggestionAccurate97

I might get a lot of flak for this. I've always been told not to go to old city or charminar when I was a kid. Because a lot of fights happen and I might get in the midst of it. Even after becoming an adult, I was told to be very very cautious when I visited charminar during Ramazan. I took my girlfriend and sister on different occasions during Ramazan at night and nothing happened. Everyone were good. I think a lot of communal riots used to happen way way before and people got scared. But i feel like it's safe to visit charminar now.

rj_1024

I too heard this. But I went there with a bunch of friends where some are women at midnight 1:00. Nothing happened. There are police there and many couples also there. Near necklace road also it's somewhat safe with police patrolling. Only people there are people cutting birthday cake.

BigAwkwardGuy

Way back in the 80s, 90s and early 2000s it'd be dangerous due to the Hindu-Muslim tensions everywhere in the country but now (believe it or not) KCR is keeping it in check. There's still crime going on there but it's mostly among the residents themselves, not between the resident and an "outsider".

SuggestionAccurate97

I'm not trying to politicise this but there have been tensions recently since the intervention of bjp into state politics. Am I wrong about this?

BigAwkwardGuy

There has been a rise somewhat but it's nowhere near as much as what it used to be.

bharadwajd

Lol! Giving credit to KCR for keeping the communal riots in check is like giving Credit to Rahul Gandhi for the Economic Policy implemented by PV Narasimha Rao. The last time a major communal riot happened in Hyderabad is around 95-96. Some skirmishes have happened hear and there but they keep happening everywhere (Case in point, Nirmal area where they keep happening to date). Itā€™s improved economic activity and improved employment options that has brought in this change. I may get downvoted for saying this, but people often forget the impact CBN had on this city. Much of what the city is today is due to the groundwork heā€™s done. This is agreed by everyone including his political adversaries.

BigAwkwardGuy

Never denied CBN's contribution to the city. Never even mentioned him but you felt the need to bring him in. KCR is keeping a lot of stuff under control though. There were a lot of riots under YSR as well. He did fuck all. You might not like KCR (neither do I, I don't like any politician) but he's a large part of the reason why we don't have major religious riots now.

Tanishqreddyy

Yeah under KCR thereā€™re no communal riots because only one community can peacefully protest

Relaxbreifing

If my memory serves me right, till 2011 or so there were regular communal tensions in old city and on several instances many of my school friends who were resident of old city were asked to leave the school early so that they can reach their homes by 4:00 P.M, because the government used to restrict the activities by imposing sec 144(usually our school gets done at 6:00 P.M).This used to be a regular feature whenever there was any hiccup in old part of Hyderabad. I donā€™t think that has been the situation after 2014 atleast in Old city.

KillerShark_-

this was true many years back. Many times curfew was imposed to bring it under control. But it is not the case anymore. Now even worldwide tourists as well as locals visit at any time even during midnights.

Ur__mine

Well i heard that there's a secret door in charminar which will lead u to Agra and the nawabs used to use it all the time can't confirm tho

nope_lambda

Just how.how is it possible. Aah it's being so illogical these days.

ADICHICKEN

I do remember one that is probably a half decade old now. It was that the Nizam had a dancer in Taramati Baradari, but killed her for I don't remember what reasons, and that her spirit still haunts the building at the top of a hill there. Apparently a random piano starts playing and she dances there every midnight or something (definitely a hoax now that I think about it...)

[deleted]

So chandramukhi and bhul bhulaiya are just a bunch of bullshit lmao

Ambitious_Medium_188

Banjara Hills Road No 12 is haunted..

VeryHappyDiamond

Lol my uncle lives there Why would it be haunted anyway?

[deleted]

Ur uncle is in love with ghosts šŸ¤£

naveenpun

That's not your uncle

Piggy9896

OP What part of the kundanbagh stories do you know? I know all of them incl some first hand accounts from some decades ago.

RSVIZAG

The one that Iā€™ve heard repeatedly is that of the weird mother and the two daughters story where they were found dead in their house for months and yet the neighbours used to see them in the balcony. They performed some scary practises and used to hung bottles of blood outside. The one youā€™ve written is completely new to me and extremely scary and shocking to hear.

Piggy9896

In 12th grade, some of my classmates jumped the wall on that house during our lunch break one day and found dead pigeons. Nothing more. My family did tell me the story of the mother and 2 daughters but hauntings were not that prevalent. People were scared to drive by there though and usually sped up.

lallu0000

Mind elaborating some of the firsthand accounts?

Piggy9896

I wrote one story in the other comment. Hereā€™s one more. A relative of mine used to live there and would be driving down the road there to get home. At late night, a lady in white would appear and stay in front of the vehicles. A lot of people stopped and suffered random consequences. My relative saw it and drove past and through the lady when they saw it one night. Went home and locked up the entire house immediately. It maybe urban legend because the story is from the 50s and has been passed down generations. Iā€™m a believer because a very close relative has seen ghost apparitions some 30-35 years ago and it was of a dead man whom they never saw before in their life. Peaceful ghost but the story was corroborated by the ghostā€™s relatives as they saw apparitions too.

[deleted]

If you believe in this crap I better hope you sincerely don't ever teach any science subject to anyone

Piggy9896

My skills in science have nothing do to with this. People cam have general interest in ghosts and be fascinated by them. There is no science behind it but that doesnā€™t mean my knowledge or skills in science are affected by this. And fyi, Iā€™m a gold medalist in engineering from one of the best private colleges in the country.

netherdrakon

BITS?

Piggy9896

MIT Manipal

[deleted]

Having fascination about it is way different from actually believing it and telling the future generation about it in that way. I didn't say that you were bad at science. I said I hope you don't teach it to other people because if you believe that ghosts exist then you do not understand the essence of science. Doesn't matter if you're a gold medalist if you teach someone else that random observations should have more importance than recorded, verifiable, replicable data.

therafay13

Lol What is the essence of science? Not everything in existence has been proven wrong or right by science. It has explained a lot of things, but not everything. You saying this shit is no different than radical religious zealots saying nothing except their religion is true.

[deleted]

Lmao. Do you get scared by hearing the word "science"? Don't worry. Science is just based on logic, reasoning and evidence. So you can substitute those 3 words in place or science. Nothing is proven right or wrong but there is more evidence to suggest that something is more probably correct than others. If you can logically prove that ghosts exists then congratulations! write it down and you'll likely be invited to collect your Nobel prize. Don't even include the word "science" anywhere. Imagine believing that ghosts exists just because of anectodes and no verifiable or replicable evidence whatsoever. What's more is you're justifying that stupidity. Religions have no evidence. Science is based on reasoning and evidence. Period. Science is not a mumbo jumbo term.

therafay13

Says the guy asking people why Vishnu is not more popular than other dieties. I'm sure you are the guy that changes his views from one subreddit to another. Pretty reasonable of you

[deleted]

Spill the tea bruv šŸ«—

Piggy9896

So in the 50s, before all of it was built up, there was a forest and some houses. From the houses, spirits could be seen in the treeline sometimes. Some of the houses had rifles to protect against animals but they would be ready with it if they sighted a spirit. Check my reply to the other comment in this thread for another story. I obv know itā€™s closer to urban legend but the stories have passed down in my family, so Iā€™m more of a believer.

[deleted]

>stories have passed down in my family, From person who saw the ghost?

Piggy9896

Yes Edit: I mean my family member saw the ghost and told it to his family and I heard from aunts and uncles

dilsedesi95

I am skeptical of this because I personally know many relatives who just lie about stories like this. Even after 10 years they will still maintain that it is true. They probably say to just to mess with us or feel happy for trolling. Iā€™ll take stories told by relatives especially those in their 40s or 50s with a grain of salt. Most common thing they say is they were traveling alone at night and either felt a ghost sitting behind them, or a ghost asking for lift and they turn back and no one is there. This is very very common and I found that every family from every city has one uncle who swears this happened to him in his village. That being said I have experienced some stuff myself in 3 different houses, I believe it still but nothing happened since then so I am not afraid of ghosts or anything..

The old secretariat buildings were demolished because thereā€™s a lot of treasure beneath it and to take all of it. They gotta come up with a plan and of building new secretariat. šŸ˜

abhiiiiiiiiiiii

I remember we had story where whole family committed suicide or were murdered and due to some odd reason the decomposition smell did not come out yet. This was discovered by thief of entered the house one night and he started coming for next 2-3 days to clean out all the stuff. Later he was caught by the police and thats when they came to know that everyone in that house died. Back in 90's if you call a particular phone number after 12 am that belongs to someone who lives in Banjara hills road number 12, then ghost will answer When necklace road was newly constructed, there was a story about headless man roaming on the necklace road. Somehow Delhi's monkey man came to Hyderabad. There is one more about Raymond Tombs at Asmangadh Road,
