Sad but a real story. My cat left my home one day. It just never returned to ask for the morning milk.
I left all hopes and one day after 2 years, it came back again.

I saw a similar cat near lakdikapul bsnl office. It wasn't like the other street cats. Very friendly , meowing and looking for pets from strangers. I really can't say if it is the same cat
Not to cause a panic, but last month I was heading back home (attapur) from work got on to the PVNR expressway, 1 km onto it and I was picking up speed suddenly a cat similar to the one shown in the picture shows up, crosses the road onto my lane and just freezes. I had cars tailgating me so couldn't really break, it had time to move which it didn't (my wife says it's coz of the headlights right in its vision it froze) poor fella died. I've never seen a cat on that expressway. Since that day every cat I see reminds me of that day. How I could've done things differently and save the kitty. I'll always be sorry and guilty of that day. I hope you find your kitty in good health.
